예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2021년 9월 23일

우리는 숙콧, 장막절 중에 있습니다. 숙콧은 요한복음에서 아주 중요한 자리를 받았습니다. 요한복음 7장 전체가 숙콧과 관련이 있는데요, 특별히 숙콧에 예슈아께서 성전에 가신 일과 그분의 가르침과 논쟁과 관련이 있습니다.
토라에 언급된 여호와께서 정하신 모든 계절과 절기들과 마찬가지로, 예슈아와 그분의 모든 제자들은 온 이스라엘과 함께 절기들을 지켰습니다. 복음서에 예슈아와 그분의 제자들이 예루살렘으로 순례하는 여호와의 절기, 유월절, 오순절, 숙콧이 언급되는 것이 흥미롭습니다. 이것은 예슈아와 그분의 제자들이 토라를 아주 잘 지키는 신실한 사람들이었다는 말이 됩니다. 갈릴리에서 예루살렘까지 일 년에 세 번 걸어가거나 나귀를 타고 가는 것은 그리 간단치가 않았습니다. 이 절기 기간 동안 예루살렘에 있는 것은 간단치 않았습니다. 역사학자들에 따르면, 예루살렘은 주후 1세기 관점에서는 아주 큰 도시였습니다. 주후 1세기에 예루살렘의 상주인구는 8만에서 10만 명으로 추정됩니다. 예루살렘은 주후 1세기 동지중해의 대도시였습니다. 그 당시 알렉산드리아와 로마 같은 도시들도 절기 때 로마제국 전역에서 온 순례자들로 불어난 예루살렘에 비하면 그다지 더 크다고 할 수 없었습니다. 우리는 이것을 사도행전 2장에서 분명히 볼 수 있습니다. 지중해 주변의 많은 나라들과, 메소포타미아와 갑바도기아, 아라비아에서도 유대인들이 절기를 지키러 왔고, 에티오피아 유대인들도 절기를 지키러온 것을 알 수 있습니다: “다 놀라 신기하게 여겨 이르되 보라 이 말하는 사람들이 다 갈릴리 사람이 아니냐 우리가 우리 각 사람이 난 곳 방언으로 듣게 되는 것이 어찌 됨이냐 우리는 바대인과 메대인과 엘람인과 또 메소보다미아, 유대와 갑바도기아, 본도와 아시아, 브루기아와 밤빌리아, 애굽과 및 구레네에 가까운 리비야 여러 지방에 사는 사람들과 로마로부터 온 나그네 곧 유대인과 유대교에 들어온 사람들과 그레데인과 아라비아인들이라 우리가 다 우리의 각 언어로 하나님의 큰 일을 말함을 듣는도다 하고.” – 사도행전 2:7-11 예슈아와 그분의 동생들과 그분의 제자들 사이에 짧은 논쟁이 있은 후 예슈아의 제자들과 동생들은 예루살렘으로 가고 예슈아께서는 뒤에 남았습니다. 그분께서는 곧 생각을 바꿔 팡파레 없이 조용히 예루살렘으로 가셔서 숙콧 이레 중 첫 며칠은 눈에 안 띄게 계셨습니다. 절기 중간에 예슈아께서는 성전산에 올라가시기로 결정하시고 붐비는 성전의 주랑에서 가르치기 시작하셨습니다. 이 때가 예슈아와 성전 경비원들과 바리새인들과 사두개인들 사이에 소요와 반대와 고소가 시작된 때였습니다. 마치 이 논쟁에 들어간 사람은 누구든 모두 갈릴리에서 온 이 예슈아가 누구이며 뭐하는 사람인지 묻고 있는 것 같습니다! 요한복음 7장에 기록된 예슈아의 가르침 중 어떤 것은 그 당시 사건들과 유대인의 전통들을 많이 다루고 있습니다. 이번 안식일에 읽는 토라 포션은 출애굽기 23:12~24:36와 민수기 29:23-28입니다. 선지서에서 읽는 부분은 에스겔 38:18~39:16이고, 신약성경에서는 요한복음 7~8장을 읽습니다. 이번 안식일에 읽는 부분은 깁니다! 언제나 물어볼 필요가 있는 질문은 유대 전통(랍비 전통)은 왜 특별히 이 본문들을 읽기로 했을까? 입니다. 매년 숙콧 안식일에 읽기로 선택된 에스겔 38:18-39을 보도록 합시다. 곡과 마곡의 전쟁이 숙콧과 무슨 관련이 있는 것일까요? 이 큰 질문을 이해하기 위해서 우리는 성경 전체를 보아야 합니다. 마지막 때 있을 이 미래 전쟁은 종말 전쟁입니다. 이것은 여러 선지서에 묘사되고 언급되었으며 신명기 32장에도 암시되어 있을 수 있습니다. 에스겔 시대에 매우 많은 수의 유대인들이 바벨론 및 바사 유수, 즉 디아스포라 중이었습니다. 그들은 바사왕 고레스 칙령 이후 예루살렘과 이스라엘 땅으로 돌아왔습니다. 고레스는 아주 높이 평가되어 우리는 이사야 45:1에서 이런 말씀을 읽을 수 있습니다: “여호와께서 그의 기름 부음을 받은 고레스에게 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 그의 오른손을 붙들고 그 앞에 열국을 항복하게 하며 내가 왕들의 허리를 풀어 그 앞에 문들을 열고 성문들이 닫히지 못하게 하리라.” – 이사야 45:1 그런데, 후에 유대인들이 바벨론 유수에서 돌아와 이스라엘 땅에 정착한 후 중동의 정치적 모습은 악화되었습니다. 선지자들은 곡과 마곡이 주도하는 여러 나라들의 동맹이 이끄는, 이스라엘을 공격할 큰 전쟁을 보았습니다. 이 여러 나라들의 동맹은 북쪽에서 올 것이며 이스라엘을 대적하는 이 전면 전쟁의 끝에는 지구 자체 요소들의 전쟁이라고 묘사되는 큰 자연재앙과, 이스라엘을 멸하러 오는 적들을 황폐케 할 별들과 초자연적 힘도 있을 것입니다. 이 전쟁 중에 곡이 사실 예루살렘을 정복하지만 길지는 않습니다. 이 끔찍한 전쟁에 가담한 하늘 군대가 곡과 마곡을 멸하고, 예루살렘은 재건되고, 스가랴 선지자가 말한 대로 그 때부터 열방의 공식 대표단이 매년 숙콧을 지키러 예루살렘으로 와서 이스라엘의 하나님께 영광을 돌리며 예배할 것입니다. 이스라엘을 대적하는 국제 동맹의 종말 전쟁의 결과를 기술하는 스가랴 14장의 몇 절입니다: “예루살렘을 치러 왔던 이방 나라들 중에 남은 자가 해마다 올라와서 그 왕 만군의 여호와께 경배하며 초막절을 지킬 것이라 땅에 있는 족속들 중에 그 왕 만군의 여호와께 경배하러 예루살렘에 올라오지 아니하는 자들에게는 비를 내리지 아니하실 것인즉 만일 애굽 족속이 올라오지 아니할 때에는 비 내림이 있지 아니하리니 여호와께서 초막절을 지키러 올라오지 아니하는 이방 나라들의 사람을 치시는 재앙을 그에게 내리실 것이라 애굽 사람이나 이방 나라 사람이나 초막절을 지키러 올라오지 아니하는 자가 받을 벌이 그러하니라.” – 스가랴 14:16-19 랍비 유대교에서 곡과 마곡과의 이 전쟁은 메시아 시대가 시작되는 영적 전쟁으로 이해됩니다. 프라하의 랍비 예후다 로에위(마하랄)은 우리에게 이스라엘의 선지자들이 묘사한 이 마지막 때 전쟁을 다루는 많은 본문들을 이해할 때 지닐 원리를 줍니다: “새로이 존재하게 되는 모든 것은 먼저 존재하는 것의 파괴를 요한다.” 새로운 종류의 실체의 도입 전에 이전 실체의 완전한 멸절이 필수불가결합니다. 이 이슈에 관한 예슈아의 가르침을 기억하십시오: “새 포도주를 낡은 가죽 부대에 넣지 아니하나니... 생베 조각을 낡은 옷에 붙이는 자가 없나니...” 이것은 프라하의 마하랄이 우리에게 주는 원리와 같은 원리입니다. 메시아의 재림이 기존 시대 위에 더해지는 향상뿐이라면, 메시아 체험은 우리 시대의 실체 위에 덧붙여질 수 있을 것입니다. 여러분은 그렇게 덧댄 것이, 저희의 열방과의 관계가 악화되어 물에 대한 권리에서부터 영토에 이르기까지 뭐든 그것을 위해 다시 전쟁을 시작하기까지, 얼마나 오래 갈 것이라고 생각하십니까? 메시아 시대는 완전히 다르고 더 이상 전쟁도 없고 아픈 것도 없고 나라들 사이에 다툼도 없을 것이며, 그런 시대는 세계 역사에 한 번도 경험해 본 적이 없는 것이기에, 옛 질서의 파괴와, 에스겔, 스가랴, 이사야, 아모스 및 다른 선지자들이 그들의 미래적 실체를 본 환상 속에 소개한 새로운 실체의 도입이 필요합니다. 이 모든 것은 스가랴 14장 대로 일어납니다. 그래서 이 하프타라(선지서 포션)를 숙콧 안식일에 읽는 것입니다. 물론, 이것이 요한복음 7장과 8장을 읽는 이유기도 한 것은, 물이라는 요소와 토라(하나님의 말씀)를 펼치는 것과, 예루살렘에서 생수가 열방으로 흘러갈 것이기 때문입니다. 이 모든 것들은 연관되어 있습니다. 저는 이 일들이 일어날 것을 믿으며, 이 모든 일들이 우리 시대에 곧 일어나도록 기도합니다. 저는 여러분도 똑같이 기도하시기를 바랍니다. 여러분이 기도하시지 않는다면, 하나님의 말씀을 창세기부터 요한계시록까지 모든 말씀을 믿는 저와 다른 많은 사람들과 함께 하는 기도에 동참하시기를 바랍니다. 이것은 모두 실체이며, 모두, 바라기는 곧, 물리적으로 실현될 것입니다! 제가 세계 정치 지도를 옳게 읽는다면, 하나님의 군대들이 일어나 하나님께서 이스라엘과 세상에 약속하신 약속들이 이루어지도록 싸우는 이 천지개벽의 사건들이 일어날 것이 예상되고, 저는 곧 일어나도록 기도합니다!
저의 첫 번째 기도 부탁은 전 세계적으로 증가하고 있고 일부는 이스라엘에 이르고 있는 코비드-19 변이들에 대해서입니다. 이스라엘은 가장 먼저, 그리고 두 번, 심지어 세 번 백신을 접종한 나라이지만, 심히 아픈 사람들 수가 줄지 않는 것 같이 보이고 병원들은 심히 아픈 사람들 수와 체외막산소공급기 수로 인해 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.
온 세계가 이 전염병이 주님의 선한 지구에서 거둬지도록 드리는 우리의 기도를 필요로 합니다. 전염병은 하나님으로부터 말미암습니다! 성경의 모든 전염병처럼 말입니다. 이 전염병의 종식도 성경의 모든 전염병 사례처럼 하나님으로부터 말미암습니다.
필요한 것은 하나님의 자녀들, 특별히 전 세계 기독교인들과 유대인들이 한 분 하나님, 우주의 창조주께 기도를 드리는 일에 동참하는 것이며, 저는 온 인류가 동참하도록 초청하고 싶습니다. 저는 모두가 기도하며, 죄를 고백하고 죄 사함을 구하며, 회개 기도 중에 주님께서 우리 각 사람에게 각자의 죄를 보여주시기를 구하고, 회개하며 고백하고, 변화되어 죄 짓는 일을 멈추겠다고 약속하고, 우리가 사는 세상을 창조하신 전능하신 창조주께 가까워지기를 모색하며, 그분의 자비를 구하며, 전 세계적인 이 전염병을 그쳐주시도록 간구하기를 권하고 싶습니다.

여러분의 기도에 이스라엘 정부를 기억해 주십시오. 코로나바이러스가 이스라엘에서 다시 창궐하며 새로운 변이가 전국에 걸쳐 확산되고 있습니다. 사람들은 3차 백신을 맞고 있지만, 상황이 진정되는 데는 몇 주 걸릴 것입니다.
아주 힘든 이 때에 네티비야를 위해, 이스라엘 사람들에게 선을 행하며 그들을 축복하고 먹이고 지지해줄 기회를 위해 기도하고 후원해 주십시오. 이스라엘에서 이 어려운 시절에 어려움에 처한 이들의 수가 몇 배로 늘었습니다.
저희가 예루살렘의 빈궁한 사람들과, 대학교 학생들인 믿는 자들에게 선을 행하고 축복이 될 기회는, 다른 사람들을 돕는 기쁨과 특권을 가져다주는, 하나님께서 저희에게 주신 기회입니다. 그러나 주님께서 선을 행하고 축복이 되도록 저희에게 주시는 모든 기회는 우리의 판단과 자선을 테스트 하는 것이기도 합니다. 하나님의 이름으로 가장 중요하고 가장 효과적인 선한 일들에 축복이 될 선택을 하는 판단을 테스트하는 것이며, 주님을 영화롭게 하며 우리의 충성됨을 보여주도록 후하게 선한 마음으로 주는 자선을 테스트하는 것입니다. 저희 편에 서서 이 축복을 누리십시오!
인도와 브라질에는 아직도 코로나바이러스로 아주 심각한 어려움 가운데 있어 우리의 기도가 필요한 형제자매님들이 많이 있습니다. 우리는 인도와 브라질을 위해, 특히 이 두 나라에 있는 우리 형제자매들을 위해 계속 기도해야 합니다.
혹시 있다면 여러분 개인의 원수를 위해, 특별히 이란이나 가자지구 하마스나 가자지구 및 레바논의 헤즈볼라 같은 이스라엘의 원수들이며 테러 국가인 자들을 위해 기도해 주십시오. 이것이 중요한 이유는 여러분이 이들 원수들의 선을 위해 기도할 때 여러분이 사실은 그들 머리에 달군 숯불을 쌓는 것이기 때문입니다. (로마서 12장 끝부분 참조.)

The Jerusalem Prayer List – September 23, 2021

We are in the middle of the Feast of Sukkot, Tabernacles. The Feast of Sukkot receives a very important place in the Gospel of John. All of Chapter 7 of John has to do with the Feast of Sukkot and especially with the visit of Yeshua to the Temple and His teaching and encounters at this feast.
Like all of the Lord’s appointed seasons and the holidays mentioned in the Torah, Yeshua and all of his disciples celebrated them with the rest of Israel. It is interesting that the Gospels mention the pilgrimages of Yeshua and his disciples to Jerusalem for several of the pilgrimage feasts of the Lord, Passover, Pentecost, and Sukkot. This makes Yeshua, and His disciples, people who are very observant and faithful to the Torah. It was not so simple to walk or ride a donkey from the Galilee to Jerusalem three times per year. It was not simple to be in Jerusalem during these seasons. According to the historians, Jerusalem was a very big city in terms of the first century A.D. The estimated permanent population of Jerusalem during the first century A.D. is estimated at between 80,000 and 100,000 people. This was a big city in the Eastern Mediterranean in the 1st Century C.E. Cities like Alexandria and Rome in those days were not much bigger than Jerusalem during the feasts the population of Jerusalem swelled with pilgrims coming from all around the Roman Empire. We see this clearly in Acts chapter 2, Jews came to Jerusalem for the feast from many of the countries around the Mediterranean, and also from Mesopotamia and Cappadocia, Arabia, and we know also of Ethiopian Jews that came to celebrate the Feasts in Jerusalem: “Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, ‘Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.’” – Acts 2:7-11 [NKJV] After a short argument between Yeshua, His brothers and His disciples, the disciples and the brothers of Yeshua go on to Jerusalem while He stayed behind. He soon after that changed His mind and went to Jerusalem quietly without much fanfare, and stayed out of sight for the first few days of the Feast of Sukkot. In the middle of the feast, Yeshua decided to go up to the Temple Mount and started to teach at the crowded porticoes of the Temple. This is when the riots and objections and accusations started between Yeshua and the Temple guards, and the Pharisees and the Sadducees. It seems like everybody who was anybody entered into this discussion, asking who this Yeshua from Galilee is and what He is! Some of Yeshua’s teaching recorded in John chapter 7 very much touches on the events and Jewish traditions of the period. The reading for this next Shabbat is from Exodus 23:12-24:36, and also from Numbers 29:23-28. From the prophets the reading is from Ezekiel 38:18-39:16. From the New Testament we will be reading from John chapter 7-8. Long readings this Shabbat! The question needs to be always asked why did Jewish tradition (rabbinical tradition) choose to read these particular passages? Let us look at the choice to read on the Shabbat of Sukkot every year from Ezekiel 38:18-39? So, what does the war of Gog and Magog have to do with Sukkot? In order to understand this big question we have to look at the whole Bible. This end-time future war is a kind of eschatological war. It is described and mentioned in many of the prophets and possibly hinted at also in Deuteronomy 32. In the days of Ezekiel a very large number of Jews were in the Babylonian and Persian exile, i.e. in the diaspora. They returned to Jerusalem and to the land of Israel after the edict of Cyrus, King of Persia. Cyrus was so appreciated that we read in Isaiah 45:1: “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut…” – Isaiah 45:1 [NKJV] However, later, after the Jews settled in the land of Israel returning from the Exile, the political scene in the Middle East deteriorated. The prophets envisioned a major war lead by a coalition of nations led by Gog and Magog, that will attack Israel. This coalition of nations that will come from the North and the end of this all-out war against Israel will involve a major natural disaster that is described as a war of the elements of the Earth itself, and even the stars and supernatural forces that will devastate the enemies that will come to destroy Israel. In this war Gog will actually conquer Jerusalem, but not for long. Divine powers involved in this horrible war will destroy Gog and Magog and Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and as Zechariah the prophet puts it, from that time one the official representatives of the nations will have to come to Jerusalem every year and celebrate Sukkot in Jerusalem, giving honor and worship to the God of Israel. Here are a few verses from Zechariah chapter 14 that describe the end result of this eschatological war of an international coalition all against Israel: “And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.” – Zechariah 14:16-19 [NKJV] In rabbinical Judaism this war with Gog and Magog is understood as a spiritual war that will initiate the Messianic Era. Rabbi Yehudah Loewe (the Maharal) of Prague gives us a principle by we are to understand many of the texts that deal with this end time war described by the prophets of Israel; “every new existence requires the destruction of the first existence.” It is necessary, before the introduction of a new kind of reality, for the complete uprooting of the previous reality. Remember the teaching of Yeshua on this issue, “you can not put new wine in old wine skins. You can’t sew a new patch on an old cloth.” This is the same principle that the Maharal of Prague is giving us. If the return of the Messiah were to be only an improvement upon the present days, it would possible for the messianic experience to be patched upon the reality of our own days. How long do you thing that kind of a patchwork would last before our relationship with the nations would deteriorate and wars would start again over anything from water rights to territory? Since, though, the era of Messiah will be totally different, and there will be war no more and no illness and no strife between the nations, and since such a period was never before experienced in the history of the world, there is a need for destruction of the old order and the introduction of the new reality that both Ezekiel and Zechariah and Isaiah, Amos, the other prophets bring into their vision of the future reality. This all happens according to Zechariah chapter 14, and that is why the Haftarah (the portion from the prophets) is read on the Shabbat of Sukkot. Of course this is also the reason why we are reading from John chapter 7 and 8, because of the elements of water and of the spread of the Torah (the Word of God), and because from Jerusalem, living water will flow to all the nations… All of these things are connected and I believe that they will happen, and I pray that they will happen soon in our own days. I hope that you pray the same, and if you don’t, please join me and many others who believe every word from God’s Word, from Genesis to Revelation. It is all reality and it is all going to be substantiated, physically, and hopefully soon! If I read the map of world politics correctly I expect these cataclysmic events involving God’s powers standing and fighting on behalf of the fulfillment of His promises to Israel and the world, to happen, and I pray, soon!
My first prayer request is for the COVID-19 mutations that are multiplying around the world and some are reaching Israel. Israel was the first country to vaccinate and even twice and three times, but it seems like the number of seriously ill is not decreasing and the hospitals are challenged by the number of seriously ill and the number of ECMO machines.
The whole world needs our prayers for this plague to be lifted off the face of the Lord’s good Earth. The plague is from God! Like all the plagues in the Bible. The end of this plague will also come from God like in all the cases of plagues in the Bible.
What is necessary is for the children of God, especially the Christians worldwide and the Jews, and I would invite all of humanity to join in prayer to the one God and Creator of our Universe. I would encourage all to pray, confessing their sins and asking for forgiveness and as a part of repentance pray for the Lord to reveal to each of us, his own sins, and to confess them in repentance, and to promise to make a serious effort to change and stop sinning and seek to get closer to the almighty Creator of our world asking for His mercy, and to stop this worldwide plague.
Please continue praying for the Christian brothers and sisters who are left in Afghanistan in the hands of the Taliban. These brothers and sisters are in grave physical danger for their lives.
Our dear friend Mahmud Abu-Eid’s sister Gouzlan is very sick, and also Mahmud’s mother and I ask you to pray for Gouzlan who is ill with a very serious illness.
Keep the Israeli government in your prayers. The Coronavirus is again raging in our land and the new mutations are spreading throughout the land. People are getting vaccinated with the third vaccine shot, but it will take some weeks for the situation to stabilize.
Pray and support Netivyah during these very hard times, for opportunities to do good and to bless and feed and support the population of Israel, those in need whose number has increased by many percentage points during these difficult days in Israel.
Our opportunities to do good and to be a blessing to the needy population in Jerusalem, and to believers who are students at the universities. God gives us opportunities to bring joy and the privilege to help others. But every opportunity that the Lord gives us to do good and to be a blessing is also a test of our judgement and charity. The test of our judgment to make choices that are going to bless the most important and the most effective good works in God’s name. The test of our charity is to give generously and with a good heart in order to honor our Lord and to show our faithfulness. Stand with us and enjoy the blessings!
We have many dear brothers and sisters in both India and Brazil who are still very much in serious trouble with the Coronavirus situation and need our prayers. We need to continue to pray for India and Brazil and especially for our dear brothers and sisters in these two countries.
Pray for your personal enemies if you have any, and especially for Israel’s enemies and terrorist states like Iran, and the Hamas in Gaza, and the Hizballah in Gaza and Lebanon… This is important, because when you pray for the good of these enemies you are actually heaping hot coal on their head. (See Romans 12, the last verses.)
Keep praying for the Rosenfeld family, the young and the old.

The Hamotzi food distribution program is going in full capacity during the holiday season and generously giving wonderful food, to over 150 families who are referred to us by the social Department of City Hall of Jerusalem. These families will have no lack on their holiday tables and their families will be able to bless the Lord for His mercy endures forever through your contributions and generosity.
The needs in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem are growing because of the unemployment of this Coronavirus period, and the needs of these dear people are growing in order to supply and increase the number of families that we are helping. We need the Lord to impress you, our dear brothers and sisters around the world, to also increase your prayers for Jerusalem and take advantage of the opportunities that the Lord is giving you.

Danah, our daughter, needs much prayer for her health and her situation. Our granddaughter Noam has graduated from high school. She is looking for a job and looking for her path in life. Please pray for both Danah our daughter, and Noam, our granddaughter and beg God to keep them safe from the Coronavirus and all other problems.
Keep Ruby Little in your prayers, our dear sister from Oklahoma City, who is also battling against cancer and add to your prayers Allison Howard Williams.
Please lift these brothers and sisters in your prayers: Angela Isby, Deborah Isaiah, Aries Franklin Mayers Sr., and Tony Black. Keep praying for Nancy, Don and their son Aaron Hook, Rachel David Kim’s wife – Jingyung Lee. These are some older brothers and sisters who need God’s grace and His support to be a blessing to their lives and keep them safe in the palm of His hand!
Dr. Yuizawa, Tiz H., Lion H., Ilana Abramov, Cynthia Parveen’s sister, have improved from their illness but still need the Lord’s blessings and strength to keep improving.
Remember the following brothers and sisters from the Roeh Israel Congregation in Jerusalem; Sarit, Gabriela, Ahuva, Leah, Ilana, Hannah, young Gabriela, Jonathan B. and his wife Aviva and their baby. Pray for Sister Yoko Nagumo in Japan. Sister Yoko had a stroke, and we pray that her recovery will be quick and complete.
From Chennai, India, please remember Pastor Isaac. Pastor Isaac is an older man with severe kidney problems and has to have dialysis several times per week. Remember Tony and Louisa Tam, and our brothers and sisters at the 611 Church, and the other churches who love God and love Israel in that great city. Remember in your prayers the Cohen family in Hong Kong.
Just a word of grace before the mercy seat of the Almighty will be heard in favor of these brothers and Um Mahmud Abu-Eid and Jimmy Abu-Eid and his family, Keijo and Salme our dear brothers in Finland, Tim Tucker, Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami our dear sister and all our other brothers and sisters in Finland who need our prayers, Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia and Victor, and Aaron Tani, and Hillel and his wife.
We continue to pray for Zhou Wenrian, Abe family, Toru San, Takeo Sensei, Daisuke Sensei, Tomoko San, Yumi and her father Pastor Ohara, George, and Pastor Isaac in Chennai, India.

Please keep in your prayers a dear sister who attends our congregation in Jerusalem. Her name is Hadassah and she just had cancer surgery. Pray for Hadassah for a full recovery and remission from any cancer in her body.
Pray for Israel. We are going through terrible riots and violence in the streets of Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv and other places around the country. These riots are motivated by the fact that much of the populace of Israel does not understand what the government is doing in relationship to the Coronavirus pandemic.
I would like a new prayer request for a dear brother Yehuda Hochman who lives in the Negev Desert. Yehuda has to receive Dialysis treatment several times per week.
From our congregation in Jerusalem, we ask you to join us in prayer for the following dear brothers and sisters: Gary, Melanie, Sarit, Gabriela, Ahuva, Leah, Ilana, Hannah, young Gabriela, Jonathan B. and his wife Aviva and their new baby.
Pray for some dear friends, Rabbi Salt, and his family and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

Please pray for our two grandchildren. They are both graduating in a few weeks from high school. They are both facing this important change in their lives. Noam our granddaughter also had her 18th birthday on May 1st. This was a very big day for Noam. She is free from high school and also from other obligations and is privileged to make her own decisions and choices in life. Pray for Noam on this major crossroad of life for her and ask the Lord to bless Noam and to give her clear direction and guidance for what is good and right and holy in her life.
Both Noam and Joseph, our two grandchildren, are extremely talented and good students. Both are “A” students and excellent young people, but both need divine protection and guidance to make good and smart and right choices for life.
When I was 18 years old and cut off from my family because of my faith in the Messiah, I had no one on my side and no one to guide me. The Lord’s providential leading and guidance was the only guide that I had. I praise the Lord for His goodness and direction in my life.
I wish all of you, who stand with Israel and who pray for Jerusalem, the best of the Lord’s blessings and the fulfillment of all His promises to His faithful children. Those who hear God and do His will are the ones who are called wise! Those who only hear His word and don’t do it are called foolish! Let us all strive to be wise and never foolish! The best is yet to come!
