예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2022년 4월 14일

이번 안식일은 아주 특별한 안식일로, 유월절 안식일입니다. 우리는 출애굽기 12:21-51와 민수기 28:16-25를 읽을 것입니다.

The Jerusalem Prayer List – April 14, 2022

This Shabbat is a very special Shabbat – it is the Shabbat of the Passover. We will be reading from Exodus 12:21-51 and from Numbers 28:16-25.
From the prophets (the Haftarah) from Joshua 3:5-7, 5:2-6:1. From the New Testament we will be reading from Luke 22:7-20. As you can see when you read these texts, all of them are connected with the keeping of the Passover. When John the Baptist sees his first cousin coming down the slope toward the Jordan River, John said: “Behold the Lamb of God!” – John 1:36 [NKJV] And in the book of Revelation: “And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, ‘Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.’ And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.” – Revelation 19:6-8 [NKJV] The Lamb of God is designated for Yeshua our Messiah. But the origins of this idea that John the Baptist is proclaiming here is not something that was a new concept. The Pharisees already understood that there is something strange in this lamb. This that every family of Israel that was in Egypt enslaved under the Pharaoh had to keep for a few days in their home. And then on the evening of their Exodus from Egypt slaughter this lamb and eat it standing up with their belts on and their shoes on, ready to move forward and get out of Egypt. The Passover Lamb Conceptually, the Passover Lamb makes sense. It is chosen, without blemish, killed (and eaten) on the Passover, and its blood is used to make the sign which will cause the house to be passed over. Rashi, one of the most famous bible commentators in Judaism, understood the difficulty of this text from Exodus and commented: “And they shall slaughter it etc. — But did they all slaughter it (one alone did this on behalf of the company formed to eat that particular lamb; (cf. B. Talmud Chullin 29b)? But we derive from this statement the legal principle that a man’s agent is as himself (this is derived from the fact that although one alone slaughtered the lamb on behalf of many, Scripture still states: they shall slaughter it in the singular and not in the plural ‘them.’” – Mekhilta d’Rabbi Yishmael 12:6:2, Kiddushin 41b In other words, the strange grammar of the Hebrew text of Exodus 12:4 is that it reads as if all of the congregation of Israel slaughtered that one single lamb. Paul said to the Corinthian church (that was made up of Jews and Gentiles): “Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” – 1 Corinthians 5:7,8 [NKJV] Some translations add the ellipsis “lamb”, yet the literal is simply “Passover”. Paul, being a Pharisee, very educated and well-versed in the Torah, understands that this Lamb that all of Israel slaughtered collectively is actually a foreshadow of the Messiah Yeshua. Therefore, Paul states to the Corinthians that they should keep the Feast of Passover. They should not only clean their homes, but also their hearts, because the Messiah is their Passover. Paul’s words in this text of 1st Corinthians is diametrically opposed to what the Christian church fathers were teaching. That disciples of Yeshua should not keep the Passover and should not celebrate the “appointed times of the Lord” (especially the Passover) because the Jews (according to the church fathers) killed Jesus on the evening of the Passover. This motif of the Passover Lamb is also recognized by Isaiah the prophet in that chapter that some messianic Jews in the late 19th Century called “The Forbidden Chapter”. It is one of the chapters that is not read in the synagogues, because Christians used it to prove that Yeshua is the Messiah. This is what is called in the South of the United States, “to cut your nose to spite your face!” The Suffering Servant (Isaiah 53:7) Isaiah, referring to this singular particular “Lamb” that is “of God” states clearly: “And he, because of his affliction, opens not his mouth: he was led as a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before the shearer is dumb, so he opens not his mouth.” – Isaiah 53:7 [Brenton] The same understanding of the Passover Lamb is also given to us by Phillip the evangelist in Acts chapter 8. When Phillip is sent by the Holy Spirit to catch a ride to reach the Ethiopian gentlemen’s cart on the way to Gaza. Here is the text: “So, Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, ‘Do you understand what you are reading?’ And he said, ‘How can I, unless someone guides me?’ And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. The place in the Scripture which he read was this: ‘He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; And as a lamb before its shearer is silent, So He opened not His mouth. In His humiliation His justice was taken away, And who will declare His generation? For His life is taken from the earth.’ [Isaiah 53:7] So the eunuch answered Philip and said, ‘I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?’ Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.” – Acts 8:30-35 [NKJV] In summary, the Christian anti-Semitic fathers from the 3rd and 4th Centuries after the Messiah worked very hard to delete and uproot any chance of the Gentile disciples having contact with the Jewish disciples of Yeshua, or with the Torah and the prophets. The Passover will be celebrated by the majority of the Jewish people around the whole world. Most of our Christian brothers and sisters around the world used to condemn believers who kept the Shabbat or the other biblical holidays, but praise the Lord for the brothers and sisters in Israel that have started to keep the Passover and many of the other biblical holidays that are called “the appointed times of the Lord.” They are not Jewish holidays, they are the Lord’s appointed times that synchronize us, the disciples of Yeshua, with the holy calendar of the Lord. I am so happy to see that more messianic congregations in Israel and around the world are keeping the Passover, and doing the best they can do under their circumstances. When we in Netivyah started to keep the Passover, we were the only congregation in all of Israel to do so (there were only three congregations in the 1960’s and even well into the 1970’s that had some Jewish disciples of Yeshua). As the apostle Paul said to the Corinthians: “For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” – 1 Corinthians 5:7,8 [NKJV]

The government of Israel is falling apart and there is possibility that in a few months we will have another general election. The division and hate between the right wing and the left wing is so strong and so poisonous that if God doesn’t intervene miraculously, Israel will be in such deep political disaster that will endanger the future fulfillments of God’s promises. We need your prayers urgently.
Pray for the Lord to bless the Israeli government with wisdom and ways to deal and stop this wave of terrorism that again is visiting Israel, just before the Passover for the Jews, and Easter for the Christians, and Ramadan for the Muslims, that all come together in the month of April.
Pray for unity among our government politicians. Because we have had so many elections, and finally built a coalition government made of a crab, a pelican, and a dolphin. The coalition government of Israel is a mixture of Jews and Arabs that are trying to work together, but they need prayer from Christians to give these politicians the wisdom and understanding to keep it together.

Please continue to pray for Ukraine and for Europe and Russia and the USA. The danger for a world war is not over. On the contrary, the possibilities of a major world war are only increasing and the danger is so significant that in the next world war it might be Armageddon.
No one knows when the end of the world will come and when Yeshua will descend on Mount of Olives in Jerusalem to start the true and real and positive New World Order as it is described in the prophets of Israel, from Moses to Malachi, and in the last chapters of the book of Revelation.
Please pray for our dear brother Keijo and Sister Salme in Finland. Marcia and I need your prayers and Keijo and Salme need your prayers. We are getting older and our bodies are not what they used to be and we need healing and strength from the Lord to continue and do the Lord’s work.

I ask you specially to pray for Marcia my wife! Marcia needs the Lord’s help with her memory and with her diabetic, and rheumatoid arthritis. I have to stay home most of the time and take care of Marcia until we find someone that can help with this need.
I hope to work on the paperwork that is necessary for such a visa from the Israeli government. I need your prayers for strength and healing of back problems and pain in my left leg that is making it hard for me to walk.

I also received a request to pray for a young brother, Raymond Jimenez, who has the Coronavirus and needs God’s blessing for recovering and returning back to his normal life.
We have a dear sister in Brazil, Fernanda, who is having difficult time with her co-workers, and she has asked for us to pray for her and her co-workers to stop persecuting her. Lift Fernanda in your prayers.
A very dear sister, who is a Korean living in Mexico and doing international ministry, Sarah Lee, is doing much better and is going out of the hospital back to Mexico soon. Please continue to pray for Sarah Lee. Sarah is one of the most unusual servants of God, and she has a special place in our hearts for her special ways and very honest and direct way of doing things for God and His kingdom, and for the Israeli community of disciples of Yeshua.
We received a prayer request from a dear sister, Livia Schnell Nothen, who has been with us in Portugal and has stood with our brothers in Brazil and with us on the issue of the Anussim.
Please keep brother Philip Marc in your prayers. Philip is a young man with very serious cancer. He is a truth seeker and a faithful disciple of Yeshua who loves God and who is a lover of Israel. Philip lives far from Israel in a country that we can’t travel to, but Philip's heart is with us, and with God’s people.
Pray for Paulo C. Pereira Braga Dias. He is the father of a dear sister in Brazil.
The situation in Israel is getting better and many of the restrictions have been lifted. Tourists are coming, and that is a big blessing to all of Israel, and especially to many of our brothers and sisters who work as tour guides.
1. Please keep doing intercessory prayer for the whole world, concentrate on your country, but do not forget Israel.
2. There is a blessing from God to those who pray for other brothers and sisters and intercede through the Holy Spirit for the body of the Messiah.
3. It might seem like a small thing for us to pray a few minutes for brothers and sisters around the world, but in the kingdom and in the Heavens, attention is paid by the authorities of goodness to the caring and sincere intercessory prayer that conforms and confirms that the body of the Messiah Yeshua is truly one body.
4. Pray for those who have prayed so faithfully for the salvation of Israel and the peace in Israel. If you are not praying for the salvation of Israel, please start now. This prayer is sure to be answered by the Lord because He promised that, “all of Israel shall be saved!”
Please pray for Gary, our daughter-in-law Beth Shulam’s father. Pray for Danah our daughter, she needs much prayer for her situation and so does our granddaughter Noaam. Please lift Danah and Noaam in your prayers. Please lift Barry our son and his family, Beth, and Joey our grandson.
I am adding a new prayer request from a leader of God’s people in India, Joy Mathew, and Pastor Isaac from the city of Chennai. Please do not forget to lift up in prayer the young man Paulo and the Amaral family, in Brazil.

Keep Ruby Little in your prayers, our dear sister from Oklahoma City. Ruby went through a new set of tests for her cancer and the tests returned with not such a good news. Ruby is in need of our prayers. Ruby needs a miracle and strength and courage to deal with this challenge in the best way that will give her a better quality of life than chemotherapy, for divine intervention, a miracle of healing.

By praying for people who are your brothers and sisters, and whom you do not know personally, you are exercising the right to be God’s ambassador in what is called “agape love.” “Agape love” is the highest form of love, a love that does not look for earthly rewards or give and take, but just does the service of intercession in the kingdom of God.
You will be blessed by the almighty God who gives each of His children good for the good we do and recompense for the bad we do.
Your sincere prayers for people around the world do the following things for the Kingdom, the King, and for the body of the Messiah:
1. They unite you and the body in a major transcendent bond of prayer.
2. They demonstrate the oneness of the people of God.
3. Your prayer shows that there are people outside the realm of the physical world and personal interests who have a sincere bond and relationship that is heavenly and not earthly.
4. The Lord knows His children and gives credit and reward according to His promises.
We have brothers and sisters in Israel and in China, and I ask you to pray for their safety and protection: Deborah Ruth, Lydia, Sima, Laurel S., Naomi, David S., Daniel, Dalia D. and her sister Tikvah, and Ayla who has just given birth to a daughter. Pray for Elhanan and his family.
In Korea we need to pray for Dr. Song and his wife Dr. Kim, and for KIBI, the most important organization that started the great interest and support for Israel and for the Jewish disciples of Yeshua in Israel.
In Africa, please pray Ismael Alves, Asher Gabriel, M. Ahuva, and especially for Yeshua College in Zimbabwe. Netivyah is providing most of the teaching in this new college that is especially serving the leadership of the Lamba tribe in Africa.
Netivyah has been feeding the poor of Jerusalem for more than 25 years and we have a highly appreciated humanitarian ministry that is working with the Jerusalem municipality. As the demands for food for people who never before needed such help grows, I pray that the Lord will inspire and motivate brothers and sisters and ministries who can help with this to visit here and do what they can to make it possible for us to double or more than double, the number of people and families that we serve.
Our prime minister’s case is still before the courts. I am not happy that this is happening in Israel, but I am praying that true justice and righteousness is exhibited in our court system.
The truth must come out and I am not interested in a second prime minister of Israel going to jail. We have had a president in jail, a finance minister in jail, a minister of interior affairs in jail, and a member of the parliament in jail.
Pray for some dear friends, Rabbi Salt, and his family and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.
We are praying for Tali and asking you all to pray for Tali. We need to ask God to heal and bless this dear sister that is suffering both physically and materially. Tali has three teenage daughters with health problems and Tali herself has some serious health problems.
I wish all of you, who stand with Israel and who pray for Jerusalem, the best of the Lord’s blessings and the fulfillment of all His promises to His faithful children.
Those who hear God and do His will are the ones who are called wise! Those who only hear His word and don’t do it are called foolish! Let us all strive to be wise and never foolish! The best is yet to come!
