예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2022년 4월 7일

이번 안식일 토라 포션은 “메쪼라”(“나병환자”), 레위기 14:1~15:33입니다. 하프타라(선지서에서 읽는 부분)는 열왕기하 7:3-20이고, 신약성경에서 읽는 부분은 로마서 6:8-23입니다.
토라에서 나병 문제는 매우 중요하여, 여러 장에서 이 문제를 다루는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. 사실 이것은 신약성경에서도 중요하여, 신약성경에서도 나병을 다루는 이야기들을 볼 수 있습니다. 다음은 복음서에서 나병과 나병환자를 다룬 이야기들입니다: “한 나병환자가 나아와 절하며 이르되 주여 원하시면 저를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있나이다 하거늘” – 마태복음 8:2 “맹인이 보며 못 걷는 사람이 걸으며 나병환자가 깨끗함을 받으며 못 듣는 자가 들으며 죽은 자가 살아나며 가난한 자에게 복음이 전파된다 하라.” – 마태복음 11:5 “한 나병환자가 예수께 와서 꿇어 엎드려 간구하여 이르되 원하시면 저를 깨끗하게 하실 수 있나이다.” – 마가복음 1:40 “한 마을에 들어가시니 나병환자 열 명이 예수를 만나 멀리 서서” – 누가복음 17:12 저는 이번 안식일에는 하프타라에 집중하고 싶습니다. 이 선지서에서 읽는 부분은 전 세계 모든 회당에서 읽을 것입니다. 열왕기하 7:3-20의 이 이야기에서 특별한 점은 오늘날 우리, 특히 예슈아의 제자들에게 관련이 있는 아주 흥미로운 점이 몇 가지 있습니다. 이 이야기는 헬라어로 “에반겔리온”, 히브리어로 “베쏘라”인 영어의 “가스펠(복음)”이라는 단어와 관련되어 있습니다. 때는 아합의 아들 여호람이 이스라엘 왕이고 앗수르 군대가 숌론(사마리아) 성을 포위했을 때입니다. 포위는 고대시대에 가장 잔인한 전쟁 수단 중 하나였습니다. 왕궁이 있는 성읍은 성벽을 두르고 보통 언덕 위에 있었기 때문에 전쟁 시에는 물과 식량의 두 가지 큰 어려운 점이 있었습니다. 몇 주만 지나도 성 안은 굶주리고 목마르게 됩니다. 우리는 당시에는 냉장시설이 없었고, 성은 언덕 위에 있고 샘은 보통 계곡에 있었기 때문에 신선한 음식과 물은 보통 성 밖에 있었다는 점을 기억해야 합니다. 이 때문에 히스기야가 실로암에서부터 성 안으로 터널을 파서 실로암 저수지를 만든 것입니다. 그렇게 앗수르 왕은 몇 달 동안 사마리아 성을 포위하고 있었고 성 안의 사람들은 굶주리고 있었습니다. 굶주림이 너무 심각하여 두 여인이 그들의 아이들을 먹기로 했습니다(열왕기하 6장 참조). 첫 번째 여인의 아기를 먹자 더 이상 배고프지 않았고, 두 번째 여인은 자기 아기를 먹자고 내놓기를 거부했습니다. 이 장면이 매우 호된 것은 왕이 이 두 여인을 대면하고 있고 그들이 그에게 첫 번째 여인의 아기를 진짜로 먹은 후 두 번째 여인이 자기 아기를 먹자고 내놓기를 거부한 불공정한 상황에 대해 불만을 토로하고 있기 때문입니다. 성경 본문은 거기에서부터 우리를 사마리아 성문 안으로 데려갑니다. 성읍 장로들이 당시 상황을 논의하고 아침식사를 위한 일종의 의회를 하러 모이지만 음식을 별로 없습니다. 그런데 그날 아침 엘리사 선지자가 일찍 일어나 주님으로부터 한 말씀을 받았습니다: “엘리사가 이르되 여호와의 말씀을 들을지어다 여호와께서 이르시되 내일 이맘때에 사마리아 성문에서 고운 밀가루 한 스아를 한 세겔로 매매하고 보리 두 스아를 한 세겔로 매매하리라 하셨느니라 그 때에 왕이 그의 손에 의지하는 자 곧 한 장관이 하나님의 사람에게 대답하여 이르되 여호와께서 하늘에 창을 내신들 어찌 이런 일이 있으리요 하더라 엘리사가 이르되 네가 네 눈으로 보리라 그러나 그것을 먹지는 못하리라 하니라.” – 열왕기하 7:1,2 엘리사가 말한 것이 사실상 불가능한 이유는 사마리아 성 포위가 오늘 그치더라도 밭을 일구어 곡식이 자라게 하여 그들이 다시 음식을 먹게 되기까지 몇 달은 걸릴 것이기 때문입니다. 사마리아 성문에서 그 장관은 엘리사 선지자의 말을 의심하여 이 연로한 엘리사 선지자를 조롱했습니다. 엘리사는 하나님의 사람으로 그와 분규에 휘말리고 싶지 않을 사람입니다. 그는 아주 친절한 사람이지만, 때로는 벅차고 거칠기도 했는데 특히 주님의 말씀을 의심하는 사람들에게 그랬습니다. 그래서 엘리사는 이 장관을 저주합니다(“네가 네 눈으로 보리라 그러나 그것을 먹지는 못하리라!”). 열왕기하 7:4에서 장면이 바뀌어, 우리를 성문 밖 나병환자촌으로 데려갑니다. 나병환자 네 명이 비참함 가운데 앉아 자기들의 처지를 논합니다: “만일 우리가 성읍으로 가자고 말한다면 성읍에는 굶주림이 있으니 우리가 거기서 죽을 것이요 만일 우리가 여기서 머무르면 역시 우리가 죽을 것이라.” 이들 나병환자 네 명은 빠져나올 길 없는 곤경에 빠져 있습니다. 그들은 어떻게 할까요? 이들은 이들에게 음식을 좀 주고 살아남을 기회가 될 가능성이 있는 유일한 일을 하기로 결정합니다. 이들은 사마리아 성에서 멀지 않은 곳에 진을 친 앗수르 군대 진영으로 가기로 결정합니다. 앗수르군이 이들을 죽인다면, 이들은 나병의 비참함과 배고픔과 사회적 배척에서 벗어날 것입니다. 앗수르군이 이들을 긍휼히 여겨 음식을 준다면, 이들은 며칠 더 생존할 것입니다. 네, 이들 네 나병환자는 자갈길 위로 발을 끌며 걸어가기 시작합니다. 이들은 앗수르군 진영에 도착했는데, 그곳은 버려졌습니다. 앗수르군 병사들은 그곳에 없고, 음식은 따뜻한 채로 식탁 위에 있고, 그들의 장막은 그대로 있습니다. 앗수르군이 사마리아로 가는 길에 약탈한 부(富)는 모두 그들의 짐에 있습니다. 이들 네 나병환자가 첫 번째 한 일은 먹고 또 먹고 또 더 먹은 것이었습니다. 그들이 한 두 번째 일은 앗수르군의 부(富)를 가능한 한 많이 그들의 주머니와 옷에 채워 가져가는 것이었습니다. 그들은 더 이상 가져갈 수 없을 정도로 많이 가져갔습니다. 그들은 땅을 파고 앗수르군의 부(富)를 많이 감추기 시작했습니다. 이미 밤이 늦은 이 시점에 이들 네 나병환자는 이미 배부르게 먹었습니다. 그리고 이들은 앗수르군 진영에서 금과 부(富)를 많이 가져와 일부를 땅에 묻어 감췄습니다. 갑자기 이들 네 나병환자는 다음과 같이 말합니다: “나병환자들이 그 친구에게 서로 말하되 우리가 이렇게 해서는 아니되겠도다 오늘은 아름다운 소식이 있는 날이거늘 우리가 침묵하고 있도다 만일 밝은 아침까지 기다리면 벌이 우리에게 미칠지니 이제 떠나 왕궁에 가서 알리자 하고” – 열왕기하 7:9 제게 흥미를 일으키는 구절은 “오늘은 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)이 있는 날이거늘”입니다. 여기에 사용된 히브리 단어는 “베쏘라”인데요, 헬라어 성경에서는 “에반겔리온”이라고 번역되었습니다. 영어 신약성경에서는 “가스펠(복음)”로 번역되었습니다. “가스펠(복음)”이라는 단어도 영어 단어는 아닙니다. 이것은 “하나님의 이야기”라는 뜻의 게르만어에서 만든 단어입니다. 문제는 구약에서 “아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)”(주전 2세기부터 번역된 70인역부터는 “에반겔리온”)으로 나온 같은 단어가 왜 신약에서는 만들어진 다른 단어 “가스펠(복음)”이 되었는가? 입니다. 그러니까 히브리어로 똑같이 “베쏘라”인 단어가 헬라어 성경에서는 구약성경과 신약성경에서 모두 “에반겔리온”이었다가, 영어와 다른 언어 번역본에서는 새로 만든 단어 “가스펠(복음)”이 된 것입니다. 이런 전술적 번역의 결과 구약성경에는 “아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)”은 있으되 “가스펠(복음)”은 없고, 신약성경에는 “아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)”은 없되 “가스펠(복음)”이 있다는 것입니다. 물론, 이것은 구약성경과 신약성경 사이에 분절을 초래했습니다. 그리고 이것은 성경 번역자들이 고의로 그렇게 한 것입니다. 다시 네 나병환자로 되돌아갑니다. 이들이 음식을 배부르게 먹고 부(富)를 잔뜩 챙긴 다음에 이들은 이 좋은 소식을 왕과 사마리아 사람들에게 전해주어야 한다는 것을 깨닫습니다. 이들은 나병환자가 성 안으로 들어가 권위자들, 특히 왕과 통치자들과 소통하는 것이 쉽지 않다는 것을 압니다. 그렇지만 이들 네 나병환자는 그들이 이 중요하고 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)을 성 안의 굶주린 백성에게 전해주지 않는다면, 그들에게 끔찍한 일이 벌어질 것이라는 점을 압니다. 즉, 그들은 이 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)의 중요성을 알았고, 그들의 책임은 왕을 깨워 이 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)을 전해주기 위해 할 수 있는 모든 일을 하는 것이었습니다. 이 이야기의 마지막 장면은 왕이 깨서 이 네 나병환자의 보고가 맞는지 조사해보도록 마병 넷을 보내는 것입니다. 왕이 보낸 사람들은 이 네 나병환자의 이야기가 사실임을 확인합니다. 아침에 이 소식이 성문 안에 도달했고 성문이 열립니다! 백성 무리는 버려진 앗수르군 진영에서 음식을 얻기 위해 성문 밖으로 몰려나옵니다. 그들이 앗수르군 진영에서 음식을 얻으러 성에서 나오면서 엘리사의 예언을 조롱한 그 장관을 밟고 지나가고, 엘리사의 예언은 이루어집니다. 그 장관은 엘리사의 말이 이루어진 것을 볼 수 있었습니다. 그리고 밀가루 한 부셀(스아) 가격은 정말로 한 세겔이었습니다! 이 이야기의 교훈은 “베쏘라”, “아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)”, “가스펠(복음)”, “에반겔리온”, 하나님의 은혜의 부(富)를 맛본 사람은 그것을 구원의 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)에 굶주린 사람들에게 나눠주어야 한다는 것입니다. 이 세상 문화와 가치체계에 포위되어 영적으로 굶주린 사람들에게 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식), 가스펠(복음)을 나누고자 하는 소원을 가져야 한다는 것입니다. 여러분이 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)을 얻고도 나누지 않으면, 그것은 곧 여러분의 냉장고에 보관해온 치즈같이 될 것입니다. 그것은 썩고 상하여 냉장고에 나쁜 냄새를 내게 될 것입니다. 여러분이 이 포위된 사마리아 성 이야기에서 그 네 나병환자가 그 성을 구한 사실을 깨닫는다면, 여러분은 분명 하나님께서 여러분 역시 사용하시어 아직도 닫힌 성문 뒤에서 하나님의 풍요와 우리 영혼의 양식의 굶주림으로 고통당하고 있는 여러분의 친구와 가족에게 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식), 하나님의 심판 때 정죄로부터 구원받음을 전해줄 기회를 여러분에게 주실 것을 깨달을 것입니다. 나누고! 나누고! 나누십시오! 아름다운 소식(좋은 소식)을 나눌 기회를 놓치지 마십시오!

The Jerusalem Prayer List – April 7, 2022

The Torah reading this Shabbat is from the portion Metzora (“leper”), Leviticus 14:1 - 15:33. The Haftarah (portion from the prophets) is from 2 Kings 7:3-20, and from the New Testament, Romans 6:8-23.
The issue of leprosy in the Torah is very important, and we can see this from the number of chapters that are dealing with this issue. In fact it is also important in the New Testament, and we see stories dealing with leprosy there as well. Here are the stories from the Gospels that deal with leprosy and lepers: “And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’” – Matthew 8:2 “The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.” – Matthew 11:5 “Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, ‘If You are willing, You can make me clean.’” – Mark 1:40 “Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off.” – Luke 17:12 I would like to concentrate this Shabbat on the Haftarah. The reading portion from the prophets that will be read in all the synagogues around the world. The unique thing about this story from 2 Kings 7:3-20 has several very interesting things relevant to us today, especially as disciples of Yeshua. This story is related to the word “gospel” in English, the word “evangelion” in Greek, and the word “bessorah” in Hebrew. The time is when the king of Israel was Jehoram son of Ahab, and the Assyrians besieged the city of Shomron (Samaria). Siege was one of the most cruel instruments of war in the ancient world. Because the royal cities were walled, and usually up on a hill, there were two major challenges in time of war: water and food. After a few weeks the cities were starving and thirsty. We must remember that there was no refrigeration, and fresh food and water were usually outside the walls of the city, because the city was up on the hill, and the spring of water was usually in the valley. This is why Hezekiah did the digging of the tunnel from the Siloam to the inside the walls of the city, and created the pool of Siloam. So, the king of Assyria besieged the city of Samaria for months, and the people inside the city were starving. The hunger was so bad that two women decided to eat their babies (see 2 Kings 6). After eating the baby of the first woman, and no longer being hungry, the second woman refused to give her baby to be eaten. The scene is very hard, because the king meets these two women and they complain to him about the unfair situation that the second woman refused to give her baby to be eaten, after the first was actually eaten. Of course the king can’t help these two women! From there the biblical text takes us inside the gates of the city of Samaria. There the elders of the city meet to discuss the situation and have a kind of parliament for breakfast, but not much food. Well, that morning Elisha the prophet woke up early and received a word from the Lord: “Then Elisha said, ‘Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: “Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”’ So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, ‘Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?’ And he said, ‘In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.’” – 2 Kings 7:1,2 [NKJV] What Elisha said is actually impossible, because even if the Siege of Samaria would stop today, it would take months to work the land and allow the crops to grow so that they would have food again. The officer at the gate of Samaria doubted the words of Elisha the prophet, and made fun of the old prophet Elisha. Elisha was a prophet of God that you would not want to mess with. He was a very kind man, but also a very demanding and harsh man at times, and with people who doubted the word of the Lord. So, Elisha curses this officer (“you will see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it!”). In 2 Kings 7:4, the scene changes and takes us to the leper colony outside the gates of the city. There are four lepers sitting in their misery and discussing their situation: “If we stay here we will die from starvation! But if we go into the city the situation inside is not better than from what we have here outside the gate.” These four lepers are in a predicament that has no way out. What will they do? They decided to do the only thing that has the potential to provide some food for them and give them a chance to survive. They decided to go to the camp of the Assyrian army that was encamped not far from the city of Samaria. If the Assyrians kill them, well, they will be out of their misery of leprosy, hunger, and social rejection. If the Assyrian army has mercy on them and gives them food, they will survive for a few more days. Well, these four lepers start walking and dragging their feet on the gravel of the road. They arrive in the camp of the Assyrians – the place is abandoned. The Assyrian soldiers are not there, their food is hot on their tables, and their tents are intact. The wealth that the Assyrian army plundered on the way to Samaria was all there in their luggage. The first thing that these four lepers do is eat, and eat, and eat some more. The second thing they do is take as much of the wealth of the Assyrians as possible, filling their pockets and clothing. They take so much that there have no room for more. They start digging in the ground and hiding more of the wealth of the Assyrian plunder. At this point, already late at night, these four lepers have eaten their fill. And they have taken much gold and wealth from the Assyrian camp, and some they have hidden under the ground. Suddenly, these four lepers say the following: “Then they said to one another, ‘We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.’” – 2 Kings 7:9 [NKJV] The phrase that interests me is “this day is a day of good news”. The Hebrew word that is used here is “besora”, translated in the Greek Bible as “evangelion”. And in English in the New Testament, it is translated as “gospel”. The word “gospel” is not even an English word. It is a word made up from the Germanic languages which means “God’s story”. The question is, why does the same word in the Old Testament appear as “good news” (“evangelion” from the Septuagint translation from the 2nd Century B.C.), and then in the New Testament as a different, made-up word: “gospel”? So, the same word in Hebrew, “besora”, is in the Greek Bible “evangelion” in both the Old and New Testaments, but in English and other languages a new word is invented: “gospel”. The results of this tactical translation is that in the Old Testament you have “good news” and no “gospel”. In the New Testament you have no “good news” but you have “Gospel.” This, of course, creates a disconnect between the Old and the New Testaments. And it is done on purpose by the translators of the Holy Bible. Back to the four lepers. After they are filled with food and wealth, they realize that they must share this good news with the king and the people of Samaria. They realize that it is not easy for lepers to enter the city and communicate with the authorities, especially with the king and the rulers. However, these four lepers realize that if they don’t share this important and good news with the starving people inside the city, something terrible will happen to them. So, they realize the importance of this good news. And their imperative is to do everything possible to wake up the king and share this good news. The final scene of this story is that the king is awakened and he sends four horsemen to investigate if the report of these four lepers is correct. The king’s men find out that the story of the four lepers is true. In the morning the news reaches the gates of the city, and the gates of the city open up! The crowd rushes out of the gate to get the food from the abandoned camp of the Assyrian army. On their way out of the city to get food from the Assyrian camp, they trample the general that made fun of Elisha’s proclamation, and Elisha’s prophecy is fulfilled. The general could see the words of Elisha fulfilled. And a bushel of wheat was indeed one shekel! The moral of this story is that everyone that has tasted of the “besora”, “the good news”, “the gospel”, “the evangelion”, the wealth of God’s grace, must share it with the people who are starving for the good news of salvation. To have that desire to share the good news, the gospel, with the people who are starving spiritually, because they are besieged in the culture and value system of the world. If you got the good news and don’t share, it soon it will become like cheese that you have been keeping in your refrigerator. It will rot and spoil and make your refrigerator smell bad. If you have discovered from this story of the besieged city of Samaria and the four lepers that saved it, you must realize that God can use you too and give you opportunity to bring good news to your friends and family that are still behind the closed gates of the city and suffering from hunger for God’s wealth and generous provision of food for our souls, and salvation from our condemnation in God’s judgment. The government of Israel is falling apart and there is possibility that in a few months we will have another general election. The division and hate between the right wing and the left wing is so strong and so poisonous that if God doesn’t intervene miraculously, Israel will be in such deep political disaster that will endanger the future fulfillments of God’s promises. We need your prayers urgently.
Pray for the Lord to bless the Israeli government with wisdom and ways to deal and stop this wave of terrorism that again is visiting Israel, just before the Passover for the Jews, and Easter for the Christians, and Ramadan for the Muslims, that all come together in the month of April.
Pray for unity among our government politicians. Because we have had so many elections, and finally built a coalition government made of a crab, a pelican, and a dolphin. The coalition government of Israel is a mixture of Jews and Arabs that are trying to work together, but they need prayer from Christians to give these politicians the wisdom and understanding to keep it together.

Please continue to pray for Ukraine and for Europe and Russia and the USA. The danger for a world war is not over. On the contrary, the possibilities of a major world war are only increasing and the danger is so significant that in the next world war it might be Armageddon.
No one knows when the end of the world will come and when Yeshua will descend on Mount of Olives in Jerusalem to start the true and real and positive New World Order as it is described in the prophets of Israel, from Moses to Malachi, and in the last chapters of the book of Revelation.
Please pray for our dear brother Keijo and Sister Salme in Finland. Marcia and I need your prayers and Keijo and Salme need your prayers. We are getting older and our bodies are not what they used to be and we need healing and strength from the Lord to continue and do the Lord’s work.

We have a dear sister in Brazil, Fernanda, who is having difficult time with her co-workers, and she has asked for us to pray for her and her co-workers to stop persecuting her. Lift Fernanda in your prayers.
A very dear sister, who is a Korean living in Mexico and doing international ministry, Sarah Lee, is doing much better and is going out of the hospital back to Mexico soon. Please continue to pray for Sarah Lee. Sarah is one of the most unusual servants of God, and she has a special place in our hearts for her special ways and very honest and direct way of doing things for God and His kingdom, and for the Israeli community of disciples of Yeshua.
We received a prayer request from a dear sister, Livia Schnell Nothen, who has been with us in Portugal and has stood with our brothers in Brazil and with us on the issue of the Anussim.
Please keep brother Philip Marc in your prayers. Philip is a young man with very serious cancer. He is a truth seeker and a faithful disciple of Yeshua who loves God and who is a lover of Israel. Philip lives far from Israel in a country that we can’t travel to, but Philip's heart is with us, and with God’s people.
Pray for Paulo C. Pereira Braga Dias. He is the father of a dear sister in Brazil.
The situation in Israel is getting better and many of the restrictions have been lifted. Tourists are coming, and that is a big blessing to all of Israel, and especially to many of our brothers and sisters who work as tour guides.
1. Please keep doing intercessory prayer for the whole world, concentrate on your country, but do not forget Israel.
2. There is a blessing from God to those who pray for other brothers and sisters and intercede through the Holy Spirit for the body of the Messiah.
3. It might seem like a small thing for us to pray a few minutes for brothers and sisters around the world, but in the kingdom and in the Heavens, attention is paid by the authorities of goodness to the caring and sincere intercessory prayer that conforms and confirms that the body of the Messiah Yeshua is truly one body.
4. Pray for those who have prayed so faithfully for the salvation of Israel and the peace in Israel. If you are not praying for the salvation of Israel, please start now. This prayer is sure to be answered by the Lord because He promised that, “all of Israel shall be saved!”
Please pray for Gary, our daughter-in-law Beth Shulam’s father. Pray for Danah our daughter, she needs much prayer for her situation and so does our granddaughter Noaam. Please lift Danah and Noaam in your prayers. Please lift Barry our son and his family, Beth, and Joey our grandson.

Ruby needs a miracle and strength and courage to deal with this challenge in the best way that will give her a better quality of life than chemotherapy, for divine intervention, a miracle of healing.

By praying for people who are your brothers and sisters, and whom you do not know personally, you are exercising the right to be God’s ambassador in what is called “agape love.” “Agape love” is the highest form of love, a love that does not look for earthly rewards or give and take, but just does the service of intercession in the kingdom of God.
You will be blessed by the almighty God who gives each of His children good for the good we do and recompense for the bad we do.
Your sincere prayers for people around the world do the following things for the Kingdom, the King, and for the body of the Messiah:
1. They unite you and the body in a major transcendent bond of prayer.
2. They demonstrate the oneness of the people of God.
3. Your prayer shows that there are people outside the realm of the physical world and personal interests who have a sincere bond and relationship that is heavenly and not earthly.
4. The Lord knows His children and gives credit and reward according to His promises.

In Korea we need to pray for Dr. Song and his wife Dr. Kim, and for KIBI, the most important organization that started the great interest and support for Israel and for the Jewish disciples of Yeshua in Israel.
In Africa, please pray Ismael Alves, Asher Gabriel, M. Ahuva, and especially for Yeshua College in Zimbabwe. Netivyah is providing most of the teaching in this new college that is especially serving the leadership of the Lamba tribe in Africa.
Netivyah has been feeding the poor of Jerusalem for more than 25 years and we have a highly appreciated humanitarian ministry that is working with the Jerusalem municipality. As the demands for food for people who never before needed such help grows, I pray that the Lord will inspire and motivate brothers and sisters and ministries who can help with this to visit here and do what they can to make it possible for us to double or more than double, the number of people and families that we serve.
Our prime minister’s case is still before the courts. I am not happy that this is happening in Israel, but I am praying that true justice and righteousness is exhibited in our court system.
The truth must come out and I am not interested in a second prime minister of Israel going to jail. We have had a president in jail, a finance minister in jail, a minister of interior affairs in jail, and a member of the parliament in jail.
Pray for some dear friends, Rabbi Salt, and his family and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.
We are praying for Tali and asking you all to pray for Tali. We need to ask God to heal and bless this dear sister that is suffering both physically and materially. Tali has three teenage daughters with health problems and Tali herself has some serious health problems.
I wish all of you, who stand with Israel and who pray for Jerusalem, the best of the Lord’s blessings and the fulfillment of all His promises to His faithful children.
Those who hear God and do His will are the ones who are called wise! Those who only hear His word and don’t do it are called foolish! Let us all strive to be wise and never foolish! The best is yet to come!
