예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2022년 3월 10일

이번 안식일에 우리는 레위기를 읽기 시작합니다. 레위기는 제사장직에 대한 법 - “토랏 코하님”이라고 불립니다.
그 이유는 분명합니다. 헬라어, 라틴어, 영어 및 기타 모든 언어로 된 이름은 레위기로, 레위인들을 위한 책이라는 뜻입니다. 히브리어 이름은 매우 간단한데요, 이 책이 시작되는 첫 번째 의미 있는 단어, “바이크라”(“그리고 그가 부르셨다...”)입니다. 이번 안식일 토라 포션은 레위기 1:1~6:7입니다. 전 세계 모든 유대인 회당에서 선지서에서 읽는 부분은 이사야 43:21~44:23일 것입니다. 신약성경에서는 히브리서 10:1-18을 읽을 것입니다. 여러분이 토라와 선지서와 신약에서 읽을 때 전통적으로 선택된 이 세 본문들에 논리적 연관성이 있다는 것을 주목해야 합니다. 세 본문은 그 주제로 연결되어 있으며 때로는 역사적 연관성으로 연결됩니다. 레위기는 앞에서 언급한 바와 같이 제사장 직분과 레위인들, 그들의 직무, 책임, 그리고 제사장 직분과 그들의 소임을 통한 하나님의 이스라엘과의 관계를 다룬 책입니다. 물론 레위인의 주요 소임 중 하나는 성막과 나중에는 예루살렘 성전을 관리하는 일이었습니다. 제사장들과 레위인들의 주요 소임 중 하나는 희생제사 절차였는데요, 여기에는 희생제물로 드려지기 위해 성막으로 가져온 동물을 검사하는 일과, 이 동물을 취급하고 준비하는 일이 포함됩니다. 이스라엘 제사장의 또 다른 주요 소임은 정결법을 집행하는 것이었습니다. 여기에는 나병이나 기타 전염성 피부병, 전염병 등 전염성 질병에 걸린 사람들을 검사하고, 사람들이 사람이든 동물이든 시체를 만지는 부정에 이르지 않도록 막는 일도 포함되었습니다. 고대 이스라엘의 제사장들은 특히 믿음과 종교적 관습 문제에 대한 분쟁이나 심각한 의견 차이가 있는 형제들 사이의 중재에도 관여했습니다. 레위기는 이 모든 문제 외에도, 토지의 건강, 땅, 토지의 생명 주기 문제를 다루고 있습니다. 여기에는 안식년과, 7번의 안식년을 축하하는 희년 문제가 포함됩니다. 이번 안식일에 떨어진 레위기 첫 번째 포션은 전적으로 제사 절차와, 희생제물로 바칠 동물을 다루는 것과 제사 시 특정 목적으로 준비하는 것과 관련된 기본 실행규범을 다룹니다. 레위기는 이스라엘 진영에서 드리는 희생제사를 위한 일곱 가지 다른 업무에 대해 말합니다. 레위기의 맨 처음 문단은 희생제물을 소, 즉 암소와 황소, 그리고 양과 염소로 제한하고 있는데요, 이렇게 함으로써 인신제사 및 레위기에서 식용으로 금지된 동물을 제물로 드리는 것을 배제하고 있습니다. 우리는 창세기에서 노아가 홍수 이전에 이미 정결한 동물과 부정한 동물을 알고 있었다는 것을 압니다. 주님께서는 노아에게 사람이 먹을 수 있고 또 먹어야 하는 정결한 동물은 일곱 쌍, 사람이 먹어서는 안 되는 부정한 동물은 두 쌍만 방주에 들이라고 명하셨습니다. 물론 이것은 모세가 시내산에서 이스라엘 자손에게 토라를 주기 훨씬 오래 전, 여러 세대와 수백 년 전의 일입니다. 레위기를 주의 깊게 읽는 모든 사람에게는 일종의 계시인, 레위기의 가장 중요하고 흥미로운 요소 중 하나는 주님께서 이스라엘의 예배자의 사회적, 경제적 지위에 비례하게 분배하시는 자세와 요구입니다. 이 원칙은 모든 세대와 성경 전체에 걸쳐 모든 형태의 예배와 헌금에 매우 중요합니다. 제가 60년 넘게 하나님의 말씀을 가르쳐 오는 동안 매우 매우 중요한 이 원리에 대한 설교나 가르침을 들어본 적이 없는 점을 사죄드립니다. 저에게 이 원리는 하나님의 성품에 대한 계시이며, 예배와, 봉사와, 하나님의 성회(거룩한 공동체) 안의 성화된 남녀 공동체 안에서의 지위라는 인간적 요소를 배려하시는 것입니다. 저는 “성회” 대신에 “교회”라는 단어를 사용할 수도 있었을 것입니다. 그러나 저는 “교회”, “회중”, “회당”이라는 단어가 예슈아께서 돌아가시고 장사되시고 부활하시고 승천하시어 우리 모두의 아버지, 이스라엘의 전능하신 분 우편에 앉으신 후 20세기와 21세기에 그 참되고 실제적인 의미를 잃었다고 생각합니다. 다음은 하나님께서 개별 예배자와 제사 요건과 관련하여 명하신 상대성에 대한 레위기의 가르침입니다: “이 중 하나에 허물이 있을 때에는 아무 일에 잘못하였노라 자복하고 그 잘못으로 말미암아 여호와께 속죄제를 드리되 양 떼의 암컷 어린 양이나 염소를 끌어다가 속죄제를 드릴 것이요 제사장은 그의 허물을 위하여 속죄할지니라 만일 그의 힘이 어린 양을 바치는 데에 미치지 못하면 그가 지은 죄를 속죄하기 위하여 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 여호와께로 가져가되 하나는 속죄제물을 삼고 하나는 번제물을 삼아 제사장에게로 가져갈 것이요 제사장은 그 속죄제물을 먼저 드리되 그 머리를 목에서 비틀어 끊고 몸은 아주 쪼개지 말며 그 속죄제물의 피를 제단 곁에 뿌리고 그 남은 피는 제단 밑에 흘릴지니 이는 속죄제요 그 다음 것은 규례대로 번제를 드릴지니 제사장이 그의 잘못을 위하여 속죄한즉 그가 사함을 받으리라 만일 그의 손이 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 두 마리에도 미치지 못하면 그의 범죄로 말미암아 고운 가루 십분의 일 에바를 예물로 가져다가 속죄제물로 드리되 이는 속죄제인즉 그 위에 기름을 붓지 말며 유향을 놓지 말고 그것을 제사장에게로 가져갈 것이요 제사장은 그것을 기념물로 한 움큼을 가져다가 제단 위 여호와의 화제물 위에서 불사를지니 이는 속죄제라 제사장이 그가 이 중에서 하나를 범하여 얻은 허물을 위하여 속죄한즉 그가 사함을 받으리라 그 나머지는 소제물 같이 제사장에게 돌릴지니라.” – 레위기 5:5-13 하나님과 그분의 인간 자녀들 사이의 관계에서 이와 같은 상대성은 성전 시대와, 오늘날에도 모든 회당과 모든 거룩한 성도들의 공동체에서 매우 중요한 원칙입니다. 다음은 1세기에 예슈아께서 친히 제자들에게 제시하신, 오늘날 우리에게도 유익한 원리입니다: “예수께서 헌금함을 대하여 앉으사 무리가 어떻게 헌금함에 돈 넣는가를 보실새 여러 부자는 많이 넣는데 한 가난한 과부는 와서 두 렙돈 곧 한 고드란트를 넣는지라 예수께서 제자들을 불러다가 이르시되 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 이 가난한 과부는 헌금함에 넣는 모든 사람보다 많이 넣었도다 그들은 다 그 풍족한 중에서 넣었거니와 이 과부는 그 가난한 중에서 자기의 모든 소유 곧 생활비 전부를 넣었느니라 하시니라.” – 마가복음 12:41-44 신약성경에는 우리가 재정적으로 부유하지 않은 사람과 부자를 다르게 대우하는 것에 대한 분명한 경고가 있습니다. 저는 전 세계적으로 제가 방문해 본 교회나 회당에서 야고보가 그의 편지에서 우리 모두에게 명령한 것을 실천하고 있는 교회나 회당을 본 적이 없습니다. “내 형제들아 영광의 주 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도에 대한 믿음을 너희가 가졌으니 사람을 차별하여 대하지 말라 만일 너희 회당에 금 가락지를 끼고 아름다운 옷을 입은 사람이 들어오고 또 남루한 옷을 입은 가난한 사람이 들어올 때에 너희가 아름다운 옷을 입은 자를 눈여겨 보고 말하되 여기 좋은 자리에 앉으소서 하고 또 가난한 자에게 말하되 너는 거기 서 있든지 내 발등상 아래에 앉으라 하면 너희끼리 서로 차별하며 악한 생각으로 판단하는 자가 되는 것이 아니냐?” – 야고보서 2:1-4 저는 지난 60년 동안 전 세계에서 사역하면서 방문한 그 누구도, 어떤 교회나 회당도 정죄하는 것이 아닙니다. 우리 공동체에서 부자들과 권세 있는 자, 아름답고 유능한 자를 편애하는 것은 우리 인간의 조건이며, 예슈아의 동생 야고보가 그의 편지에서 말하고 있는 이 편파성에 있어서 우리 모두는 유죄입니다. 그러나 우리 모두가 이 죄에 있어 유죄라는 사실이 우리가 이 행위를 무시하고 잊어버려야 한다는 뜻은 아닙니다. 오히려, 친애하는 형제자매님들, 우리는 자녀의 능력과 은사에 따라 관심을 기울이시고, 인간 피조물인 우리를 한 가지 척도로 바라보지 않으시는 하나님의 본성과 성품에 대해 말하고 있음을 기억해야 합니다. 그분께서는 어떤 사람은 금발로, 어떤 사람은 빨간 머리로, 어떤 사람은 머리숱이 많지 않게, 어떤 사람은 키가 크게, 어떤 사람은 키가 작게 만드셨습니다. 어떤 사람은 은수저를 물고 태어났고, 어떤 사람은 가난하게 태어났습니다. 이 모든 사람들은, 그리고 그들의 선택이나 죄가 아니라 우리 모두를 지으신 전능하신 창조주께서 부여하신 각기 다른 지위는 우리 모두의 아버지께서 그분의 자녀인 우리를 대하시는 것과 같은 방식으로 평가되고 인정받아야 할 것입니다. 실제적으로, 예슈아의 동생 야고보는 우리에게 하지 말아야 할 일에 대해 훌륭하고 매우 실용적인 교훈을 줍니다. 그리고 야고보가 우리에게 하지 말아야 할 것을 가르치는 것에서 우리는 무엇을 해야 하는지를 많이 배웁니다. 쉽게 말해서 예슈아의 제자로서 우리는 사회적 인식과 감수성을 더 많이 갖고 살아가야 하며, 또한 멈춰 서서 스스로의 행동을 통제하고 야고보가 흩어진 12지파에 보낸 편지에서 요구하고 있는 수준까지 끌어올려야 합니다. 하나님께서는 우리를 보시고 우리의 능력에 따라 깎아 주십니다. 하나님께서 우리를 종곡선(통계분포)에 따라 평가하시므로, 우리도 종곡선에 따라 서로를 평가하고 우리의 행운이나 불운을 고려할 수 있어야 합니다. 우리는 숙콧(초막절)의 네 가지 요소 같이 될 수 있음을 고려해야 합니다. 숙콧 때 우리는 종려나무 가지, 버드나무 가지, 도금양 가지, 시트론(이탈리아 야생 레몬) 가지를 엮어 서로의 약점을 보완하고 서로의 이점과 축복을 누립니다. 우리의 행운을 하나님의 은혜로 여기고, 형제의 불운을 하나님께서 우리를 향해 두신 시험이자 도전으로 여기십시오! 시험을 통과하여 우리에게 하나님과 같이 될 기회를 주기 위해 형제들이 거기 있는 것이라고 서로를 바라보는 법을 배우고, 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 만드시기 위해 오늘은 내가 말 위에 있었지만 내일은 말 옆에 걷던 사람이 말 위에 있고 우리가 땅에서 걸을 수도 있음을 고려하는 법을 배웁시다. 하나님의 은혜와 심판은 한 꾸러미로 옵니다. 그렇기 때문에 우리가 섬기는 하나님의 상대적인 평가와 기회의 원리는 우리 예슈아의 제자들이 실천해야 할 너무나 중요한 원리입니다. 우리가 레위기에서 하나님께서 우리를 섬기고 평가하시는 것과 동일한 원리로 우리의 동료 형제자매들을 섬기는 것으로 하나님을 섬기는 방법을 더 많이 배울수록 주님께서는 우리를 축복하십니다!

The Jerusalem Prayer List – March 10, 2022

This Shabbat we are starting to read from the book of Leviticus. The book of Leviticus is called “Torat Cohanim” – The Law of the Priesthood.
The reason is obvious, and the name in Greek, Latin, English and in all other languages is Leviticus – meaning the book for the Levites. In Hebrew the name is very simple – it is the first meaningful word that starts the book, “And He Called…” (“Vayikra”). Our Torah portion this Shabbat is from Leviticus 1:1 - 6:7. From the prophets we and all the Jewish synagogues in the world will be reading from Isaiah 43:21 - 44:23, and from the New Testament from Hebrews 10:1-18. You ought to notice when you read from the Torah and from the prophets and the New Testament that there is a logical connection in the choices that are made by tradition in all these readings. They are connected by their topics, and sometimes by the historical connections. The book of Leviticus, as stated above, is a book that deals with the priesthood and the Levites, their job, their responsibilities, and God’s relationship to Israel through the priesthood and their tasks. Of course, one of the main tasks of the Levites was the administration of the Tabernacle and later the Temple in Jerusalem. One of the main tasks of the priests and Levites was the sacrificing order, and that included the inspection of the animal that is brought to the Tabernacle for sacrifice, and the handling of these animals, and their preparation. The other major task of the priesthood in Israel was the administration of of the purity laws, that also included the inspections and protection of those who have infectious illnesses, like leprosy, or other infectious skin sicknesses, pandemics, and the impurity of touching the dead – human or animal. The priests in ancient Israel were also involved in the arbitration between brothers who have some dispute or serious disagreement, especially on issues of faith and religious practices. The book of Leviticus deals with all these issues, and also with the issues of the health of the land, the earth, and the life cycle of the land. This included the issues of the Sabbatical year and the year of Jubilee, that was the celebration of seven sabbatical years. The first reading of the book of Leviticus that falls on this Shabbat, is wholly dedicated to the sacrificial order and basic practices that relate to the handling of the animals for sacrifice, and preparing them for the particular task in the sacrifice. Leviticus speaks of seven different tasks for the sacrificial cultus in the camp of Israel. The very first paragraph of the book of Leviticus limits the sacrificial animals to the bovine, cows, bulls, and to the sheep and goats, and by doing this it excludes human sacrifices and sacrifices of animals that are forbidden by the book of Leviticus for human consumption. We know already from the book of Genesis that Noah, before the flood, already knows the clean animals from the unclean animals. The Lord commands Noah to have seven pairs of the clean animals that can and ought to be eaten by humans, and only two pairs from the unclean animals that ought not to be eaten by humans. This is, of course, many generations and many hundreds of years before Moses and the giving of the Torah in Mount Sinai to the children of Israel. One of the most important and interesting elements of the book of Leviticus that is a revelation for anyone who reads carefully the book of Leviticus is the relative attitude and demands that The Lord deals in relationship to the social and economic status of the worshiper in Israel. This principle is of such great importance for all generations, and in all forms of worship and giving throughout the Bible. I apologize that for the 60-plus years that I have been teaching the Word of God I have never heard a sermon or a teaching on this so-very-very important principle, that for me is a revelation of God’s character and consideration for the human element in worship, and in service, and in status within the community of the sanctified men and women in God’s Holy Community. I could have used the word “church” in place of “holy community”. But, I think that the words “church”, “congregation”, and “synagogue” have lost their true and real meaning in the 20th and 21st centuries after Yeshua’s death, burial, resurrection and ascension to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Almighty One of Israel – the Father of us all! Here is the teaching in Leviticus on the relativity of God’s relationship with the individual worshiper and the requirements of worship: “And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing; and he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin. If he is not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring to the Lord, for his trespass which he has committed, two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it completely. Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. And he shall offer the second as a burnt offering according to the prescribed manner. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin which he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him. But if he is not able to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering. Then he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as a memorial portion, and burn it on the altar according to the offerings made by fire to the Lord. It is a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for him, for his sin that he has committed in any of these matters; and it shall be forgiven him. The rest shall be the priest’s as a grain offering.” – Leviticus 5:5-13 [NKJV] This same relativity in the relationship between God and His human children is of such great important principle in the days of the Temple, and also today in every synagogue and in every holy community of the saints. Here is the same principle as it is presented by Yeshua himself to His disciples in the First Century, and good for us today also: “Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.’” – Mark 12:41-44 [NKJV] We even have a clear warning in the New Testament against treating the rich differently than we treat the less financially-fortunate. I have not seen a church or synagogue that I have ever visited around the world practicing what James commands us all in his letter. (“Jacob” in the original Greek texts, and in every other language except English.) “My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, ‘You sit here in a good place,’ and say to the poor man, ‘You stand there,’ or, ‘Sit here at my footstool,’ have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?” – James 2:1-4 [NKJV] I am not condemning anyone, or any church or synagogue that I have visited in the last 60 years of ministry around the world. It is our human condition to be partial to the rich and powerful, and beautiful and capable in our communities, and we are all guilty of this partiality that Jacob the brother of Yeshua is speaking of in his letter. But, the fact that we are all guilty of this sin doesn’t mean that we ought to ignore this practice and forget about it. On the contrary, dear brothers and sisters, we ought to remember that we are talking about the very nature and character of God, who pays attention to His children according to their abilities and gifts, and does not look at us, His human creatures, and measure us all with one measure. He made some blond and some red-haired, others He made without much hair, and others yet, He made tall, and some He made short. Some were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, and others were born in poverty. All these people and their different status that was handed to them, not by their choice or their sins, but by the Almighty Creator of us all, ought to be evaluated and appreciated in the same way that the Father of us all deals with us, His children. In practice, Jacob (James) the brother of Yeshua gives us a good and very-practical instruction of what not to do. And from what Jacob teaches us what not to do we much learn what to do. In simple terms, we ought to have more social awareness and sensitivity as disciples of Yeshua and live it out, and also make sure that we stop and control our own behavior and bring it up to the level that Jacob in his letter to the 12 tribes in the diaspora is demanding. God looks at us and gives us a discount according to our abilities. God grades us on the bell curve, and we must be able to also grade each other on the bell curve, and consider our fortunes or misfortunes. We need to take into account to be like the four elements of Sukkot. We take in Sukkot the palm branch, the willow branch, the myrtle branch, and the citron (Italian wild lemon) branch, bound together, fulfilling each other’s weaknesses, and enjoying each other’s benefits and blessings. Looking into our fortunes as God’s grace, and looking at the misfortune of our brothers as a test and a challenge from God for us! Let us pass the test and learn to look at each other as brothers that are there to give us an opportunity to be like God, and take into account to make us God’s children, that today we might be on top of the horse and tomorrow those that are walking beside the horse might be on top, and we would be walking on the ground. The grace and the judgement of God come in the same package, and that is why the principle of God’s relative evaluation and opportunity in our service is such an important principle for us Yeshua’s disciples to put into practice. The Lord bless us as we learn more from Leviticus how to serve God by serving our fellow brothers and sisters with the same principles that God is serving and evaluating us!

Please continue to pray for Ukraine and for Europe and Russia and the USA. The danger for a world war is not over. On the contrary, the possibilities of a major world war are only increasing and the danger is so significant that in the next world war it might be Armageddon.
No one knows when the end of the world will come and when Yeshua will descend on Mount of Olives in Jerusalem to start the true and real and positive New World Order as it is described in the prophets of Israel, from Moses to Malachi, and in the last chapters of the book of Revelation.
Please pray for our dear brother Keijo and Sister Salme in Finland. Marcia and I need your prayers and Keijo and Salme need your prayers. We are getting older and our bodies are not what they used to be and we need healing and strength from the Lord to continue and do the Lord’s work.

The situation of our older sisters who are true heroes in the service of the Lord – Leah, Ahuva, and Ilana need our prayers. I am asking you join us all in praying for our older sisters. They are true heroes of faith, and their love for the Lord, and for His people, is without limit.
There is a clear command in the word of God to take care of the widows and orphans. Please consider as a church or as individuals to add something extra for the elderly saints of Jerusalem.

I also received a request to pray for a young brother, Raymond Jimenez, who has the Coronavirus and needs God’s blessing for recovering and returning back to his normal life.
A very dear sister who is a Korean living in Mexico and doing international ministry, Sarah Lee, had a massive stroke and needs our prayers. Sarah Lee is one of the most unusual minister for God and His children world wide and I ask you to pray for her full recovery from this massive CVA.
We received a prayer request from a dear sister, Livia Schnell Nothen, who has been with us in Portugal and has stood with our brothers in Brazil and with us on the issue of the Anussim.
Please keep brother Philip Marc in your prayers. Philip is a young man with very serious cancer. He is a truth seeker and a faithful disciple of Yeshua who loves God and who is a lover of Israel. Philip lives far from Israel in a country that we can’t travel to, but Philip's heart is with us, and with God’s people.
Pray for Paulo C. Pereira Braga Dias. He is the father of a dear sister in Brazil.
The situation in Israel is getting better and many of the restrictions have been lifted. Tourists are coming, and that is a big blessing to all of Israel, and especially to many of our brothers and sisters who work as tour guides.
It is a good work to pray for people whom you don’t know personally and to pray for the world to recover and bring an end to this horrible pandemic called the coronavirus. Corona is a crown, and I am not sure on the head of which king this virus is a crown.
1. Please keep doing intercessory prayer for the whole world, concentrate on your country, but do not forget Israel.
2. There is a blessing from God to those who pray for other brothers and sisters and intercede through the Holy Spirit for the body of the Messiah.
3. It might seem like a small thing for us to pray a few minutes for brothers and sisters around the world, but in the kingdom and in the Heavens, attention is paid by the authorities of goodness to the caring and sincere intercessory prayer that conforms and confirms that the body of the Messiah Yeshua is truly one body.
4. Pray for those who have prayed so faithfully for the salvation of Israel and the peace in Israel. If you are not praying for the salvation of Israel, please start now. This prayer is sure to be answered by the Lord because He promised that, “all of Israel shall be saved!”
Please pray for Gary, our daughter-in-law Beth Shulam’s father. Pray for Danah our daughter, she needs much prayer for her situation and so does our granddaughter Noaam. Please lift Danah and Noaam in your prayers. Please lift Barry our son and his family, Beth, and Joey our grandson.
Keep Ruby Little in your prayers, our dear sister from Oklahoma City. Ruby went through a new set of tests for her cancer and the tests returned with not such a good news. Ruby is in need of our prayers. Pray for God to heal Ruby from her cancer that after two years of treatments not much improvement. Ruby needs a miracle and strength and courage to deal with this challenge in the best way that will give her a better quality of life than chemotherapy, for divine intervention, a miracle of healing.

By praying for people who are your brothers and sisters, and whom you do not know personally, you are exercising the right to be God’s ambassador in what is called “agape love.” “Agape love” is the highest form of love, a love that does not look for earthly rewards or give and take, but just does the service of intercession in the kingdom of God.
You will be blessed by the almighty God who gives each of His children good for the good we do and recompense for the bad we do.
Your sincere prayers for people around the world do the following things for the Kingdom, the King, and for the body of the Messiah:
1. They unite you and the body in a major transcendent bond of prayer.
2. They demonstrate the oneness of the people of God.
3. Your prayer shows that there are people outside the realm of the physical world and personal interests who have a sincere bond and relationship that is heavenly and not earthly.
4. The Lord knows His children and gives credit and reward according to His promises.
We have brothers and sisters in Israel and in China, and I ask you to pray for their safety and protection: Deborah Ruth, Lydia, Sima, Laurel S., Naomi, David S., Daniel, Dalia D. and her sister Tikvah, and Ayla who has just given birth to a daughter. Pray for Elhanan and his family.
In Korea we need to pray for Dr. Song and his wife Dr. Kim, and for KIBI, the most important organization that started the great interest and support for Israel and for the Jewish Disciples of Yeshua in Israel.
In Africa, please pray Ismael Alves, Asher Gabriel, M. Ahuva, and especially for Yeshua College in Zimbabwe. Netivyah is providing most of the teaching in this new college that is especially serving the leadership of the Lamba tribe in Africa.
Netivyah has been feeding the poor of Jerusalem for more than 25 years and we have a highly appreciated humanitarian ministry that is working with the Jerusalem municipality. As the demands for food for people who never before needed such help grows, I pray that the Lord will inspire and motivate brothers and sisters and ministries who can help with this to visit here and do what they can to make it possible for us to double or more than double, the number of people and families that we serve.
Our prime minister’s case is still before the courts. I am not happy that this is happening in Israel, but I am praying that true justice and righteousness is exhibited in our court system.
The truth must come out and I am not interested in a second prime minister of Israel going to jail. We have had a president in jail, a finance minister in jail, a minister of interior affairs in jail, and a member of the parliament in jail.
Pray for some dear friends, Rabbi Salt, and his family and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.
We are praying for Tali and asking you all to pray for Tali. We need to ask God to heal and bless this dear sister that is suffering both physically and materially. Tali has three teenage daughters with health problems and Tali herself has some serious health problems.
I wish all of you, who stand with Israel and who pray for Jerusalem, the best of the Lord’s blessings and the fulfillment of all His promises to His faithful children.
Those who hear God and do His will are the ones who are called wise! Those who only hear His word and don’t do it are called foolish! Let us all strive to be wise and never foolish! The best is yet to come!

P.S. Netivyah has distributed around 200 special gifts for all the Messianic soldiers currently serving in the Israeli Defense Forces (Israeli army). We bless all of our soldiers twice a year and the Feast of Purim (Feast of Esther) is one of these occasions and the Jewish New Year is another occasion. The soldiers really are encouraged that we have not forgotten them and that we think of really useful and appropriate gifts. This year each soldier gets a hefty bag full of goodies like chocolates and other snacks and also a Leatherman multi-tool. These are useful especially for the soldiers that out in the field guarding and protecting us.
