예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2022년 1월 6일

이 새해는 우리 온 인류가 맞서야 하며 하나님께 그분의 선한 지구상에서 이 코로나바이러스 전염병을 거두어주시도록 기도해야 하는 큰 도전을 가져왔습니다. 저는 귀한 형제자매 여러분이 성경에 거의 100개나 되는 재앙이 있으며, 그것 하나하나가 하나님으로부터 왔고 하나님께서 끝내셨다는 것을 아시기 바랍니다. 제가 기억하는 한, 성경에 전 지구적인 사건으로 기술된 사건은 노아의 홍수입니다.
온 지구적으로 일어났고 동시에 온 지구적 영향력을 가진 일은 아주 드뭅니다. 아프리카에서는 에볼라 바이러스와 사스와 마스가 있었고, 유럽에서는 악성 전염병이 있었고, 아시아에는 다른 종류가 있었지만, 정말로 전 지구적인 재앙은 적어도 현대에는 아주 드뭅니다. 이번 주 토라 포션은 “보”(“바로에게 들어가라”)라는 단어로 시작됩니다. 이 토라 포션 성경 이야기는 아마도 요한계시록에 이르기까지 성경 전체 이야기 중에서 가장 극적이고 가장 영향력이 있는 이야기일 것입니다. 이것은 진짜 출애굽, 이스라엘 자손이 거의 400년의 애굽살이 중 약 200년은 바로의 종으로 살았던 삶을 끝내고 애굽에서 떠나는 이야기입니다. 바로는 마음이 완강해져 이스라엘 자손이 애굽에서 떠나 가나안 땅으로 돌아가는 것을 거부했습니다. 그러나 우리는 그 당시 가나안 땅이 애굽의 한 도(道)였다는 것을 잊어서는 안 됩니다. 바로와 그의 “현자(賢者)들”이 반대한 것은 이스라엘 자손이 더 이상 그들의 종이 아닌 것이었습니다. 바로는 이스라엘 사람들이 그들의 종 신분에서 해방되는 것을 반대했습니다. 그들은 값싼 노동력이자 바로와 그의 집과 애굽 전체적으로 경제적 이득이었습니다. 애굽은 주전 약 2,500년에서 1,000년까지의 청동기 시대에 가장 크고 가장 강력한 제국 중 하나였습니다. 이 1,500년 대부분 시기에 애굽은 지중해 중부 튀니지에서부터 이탈리아 부츠 뒤꿈치를 거쳐 아프리카 빅토리아 호수와 동으로는 홍해와 호르무즈해협에 이르기까지 다스렸습니다. 이스라엘 사람들은 그 당시 애굽을 섬기던 유일한 노예 그룹이 아니었습니다. 주전 1,500년대 이후 바로의 멍에 아래에서 애굽의 종된 다른 아시아계 노예와 아프리카계 노예도 많았습니다. 이스라엘 사람들이 떠나 해방되도록 허용하는 것은 애굽 제국의 전(全) 경제 체계를 해체하게 되는 것이었을 것입니다. 바로와 그의 마법사들와 현자들이 몰랐던 것은 이스라엘의 하나님이 어떤 분이시라는 것이었습니다. 이 때문에 바로가 출애굽기 앞 부분에서 여러 번 마음이 완강해 진 끝에 지금 대단원의 막으로 하나님께서 바로의 마음을 완강하게 하시는 것입니다. 본문 말씀은 이렇게 말하고 있습니다: “여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 바로에게로 들어가라 내가 그의 마음과 그의 신하들의 마음을 완강하게 함은 나의 표징을 그들 중에 보이기 위함이며 네게 내가 애굽에서 행한 일들 곧 내가 그들 가운데에서 행한 표징을 네 아들과 네 자손의 귀에 전하기 위함이라 너희는 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라.” – 출애굽기 10:1,2 저는 하나님께서 모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손에게 그분의 손을 보여주고 계시는 것이라고 믿습니다. 이것은 하나님께서 이스라엘과 그분의 모든 자녀를 대하시는 데 있어 황홀케 하는 점 중 하나입니다. 유대인이든 기독교이든 우리는 모두 천지의 창조주에 대해 매우 생무지의 관점을 가지고 있습니다. 성경, 특히 유월절 이야기에서 하나님께서는 그분께서 매우 노련하고 미디어 개념이 있고 전능한 통치자라는 것을 계시하십니다. 제가 표현컨대, 자신의 의지와 소원을 언제나 완전히 이행하는 호의적인 전제군주라고 할 수 있을 것 같습니다. 형제자매님들, 우리는 이 점을 잊어서는 안 됩니다. 즉, 우리가 태양과 달과 모든 행성과 별들을 포함하여 최소한 우리가 속한 은하와, 어쩌면 우리의 은하보다 훨씬 더 많은 것을 창조하신 하나님을 대하고 있다는 사실을요. 이번 안식일 토라 포션의 첫 단어들로 하나님께서는 우리 이스라엘 자손이 앞으로 올 세대에 갖게 될 유업에 특별한 관심을 보여주십니다. 이것은 하나님께서 모세와 아론에게 그분께서 바로의 마음을 완강하게 만들어 이스라엘 자손이 더 일찍 떠나도록 허락하지 않게 한 이유를 말씀하시는 것입니다. 하나님께서 모세에게 알려주신 바로의 마음을 완강하게 한 이유는 이렇습니다: “…나의 표징을 그들 중에 보이기 위함이며 네게 내가 애굽에서 행한 일들 곧 내가 그들 가운데에서 행한 표징을 네 아들과 네 자손의 귀에 전하기 위함이라 너희는 내가 여호와인 줄을 알리라.” 제가 이 말씀을 우리 시대의 말로 바꾼다면, 이럴 것입니다: “내가 바로와 애굽에 이 일을 하는 것은 이스라엘 자손의 후세대의 교육 프로그램을 위한 것이다. 나는 네 자녀와, 온 세상을 교육하여 그들이 내가 ‘스스로 있는 자’인 것을 알게 하고자 한다.” 이와 똑같은 개념이 이번 주 토라 포션 중 출애굽기 12:23-27에 다시 반복되고 있습니다: “여호와께서 애굽 사람들에게 재앙을 내리려고 지나가실 때에 문 인방과 좌우 문설주의 피를 보시면 여호와께서 그 문을 넘으시고 멸하는 자에게 너희 집에 들어가서 너희를 치지 못하게 하실 것임이니라 너희는 이 일을 규례로 삼아 너희와 너희 자손이 영원히 지킬 것이니 너희는 여호와께서 허락하신 대로 너희에게 주시는 땅에 이를 때에 이 예식을 지킬 것이라 이 후에 너희의 자녀가 묻기를 이 예식이 무슨 뜻이냐 하거든 너희는 이르기를 이는 여호와의 유월절 제사라 여호와께서 애굽 사람에게 재앙을 내리실 때에 애굽에 있는 이스라엘 자손의 집을 넘으사 우리의 집을 구원하셨느니라 하라 하매 백성이 머리 숙여 경배하니라.” – 출애굽기 12:23-27 이것은 저를 완전히 놀라게 하고 전율하게 만드는 말씀 중 하나입니다. 여기에 우주의 창조주가 계십니다. 그렇습니다, 온 세상과 그 안에 있는 모든 것, 올챙이에서부터 코뿔소에 이르기까지, 바다의 쓰나미에서부터 히말라야의 최고봉에 이르기까지 모든 것이 이스라엘의 하나님께서 지으신 것입니다: “하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니…” 하나님께서는 모든 능력과 영원을 소유하셨음에도 우리의 후세대, 우리의 건방진 자녀에 대해 걱정하십니다. 특히 이와 같이 아주 극적이고 역사적인 순간에 창조주께서는 우리의 후세대에 대해, 우리가 우리 후세대에게 어떻게 말씀을 나누고 가르치고 교육할 것인지에 대해 생각하고 계시는 것입니다. 친애하는 형제자매님들, 이것은 여기에서만 그런 것이 아닙니다. 성경 전체 중에서 가장 거룩한 말씀에서 하나님께서 우리에게 하라고 명하시는 것을 주목해 보십시오: “이스라엘아 들으라 우리 하나님 여호와는 오직 유일한 여호와이시니 너는 마음을 다하고 뜻을 다하고 힘을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하라 오늘 내가 네게 명하는 이 말씀을 너는 마음에 새기고 네 자녀에게 부지런히 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지 길을 갈 때에든지 누워 있을 때에든지 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론할 것이며 너는 또 그것을 네 손목에 매어 기호를 삼으며 네 미간에 붙여 표로 삼고 또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록할지니라.” – 신명기 6:4-9 성경에 있는 모든 선언, 출애굽기부터 요한계시록에 이르기까지 언급된 선언 중 가장 위대한 선언 직후, 하나님의 다음 말씀은 신학의 올림푸스로부터 내려와 “네 자녀” 문제를 다루고 있습니다. 우주의 창조주께서 우리 자녀, 우리 메시아 예슈아의 미래 세대에 관심을 가지고 계십니다. 저는 토라와 선지서와 신약성경에서도 아주 중요한 이 주제에 넋을 잃게 된 것을 깨닫습니다. 그러나 대부분의 기독교권과 교회들과 공동체에서 자녀가 언제나 관심사의 제1위, 교회의 우선순위에 있는 것은 아니라는 점을 말씀드리는 것이 슬픕니다. 이 때문에 겉으로 보기에 독실한 기독교 가정이 자녀 중 최소 몇 명은 세상으로 잃어버린 가정이 많은 것입니다. 우리 자녀는 창조주와의 정직하고 진실한 관계를 탐지하는 가장 효율적이고 민감한 가이거 계수관이기 때문입니다. (가이거 계수관은 원자력 누출을 탐지하는 탐지기입니다. 이 경우에는 영적 악취 물질 탐지기입니다.) 이 때문에 하나님께서는 거룩한 구원 역사에 있어 가장 중요한 이 순간을 그분의 거룩한 계시에 넣으시고 자녀와 후세대의 중요성을 강조하시는 것입니다. 저는 이번 주 토라 포션에는 요한계시록에 이르기까지 모든 성경에 면면히 흐르는 중요한 면과 주제가 많이 있는 것을 깨달았지만, 이 첫 구절들에만 전념했습니다. 왜냐하면 제가 청소년들과 세계적으로 메시아를 따르는 후세대의 타락을 보기 때문입니다. 저는 교회들의 중점이 물리적 개척, 건물, 공동체의 다른 중요한 것들에 있고, 하나님께서 아주 많이 강조하신 가장 중요한 것은 덜 강조하고 투자를 덜 하는 것을 봅니다. 이 주제에 몰두해서 미안하기는 하지만, 사죄는 아닙니다. 여러분의 청소년 사역자들(여러분에게 한 명 이상, 적어도 남성 청소년 사역자 한 명과 여성 청소년 사역자 한 명이 있을 것입니다)은 여러분의 공동체에서 가장 최상급의 최고 교육을 받고 가장 감독을 많이 받고 가장 보수를 잘 받는 종이어야 하며, 청소년 프로그램은 재정적으로 가장 투자를 많이 해야 합니다.

The Jerusalem Prayer List – January 6, 2022

It’s a new year that brings us big challenges that we, the whole human race, have to face and pray asking God to lift this coronavirus plague off the face of His good earth. I hope that you realize, dear brothers and sisters, that there are near 100 plagues in the Bible, and every single one of them came from God and was ended by God. To the best of my memory the only event that is described in the Bible as universal is Noah’s flood.
It is very rare to have anything that happens the whole world over, at the same time and with the same consequences. Africa had the Ebola virus, and the Sars, and the Mars, and there have been bad plagues in Europe and others in Asia, but one that is truly universal is a very rare event at least in modern times. This week’s reading is from the portion of the Torah that starts with the word “Bo” (“Come to Pharaoh”). The Biblical narrative in this portion of the Torah is probably one of the more dramatic and more influential of the whole Biblical narrative including all the way to the book of Revelation. This is the story of the actual exodus, the departure of the children of Israel from Egypt after near 400 years of living in Egypt, and around 200 of these years living in Egypt as slaves of the Pharaohs. Pharaoh has hardened his own heart and refused to allow the children of Israel to depart from Egypt and return to the land of Canaan. However, we must not forget that the Land of Canaan at that time was an Egyptian province. What Pharaoh and his “wisemen” objected to was for the children of Israel to stop being his slaves. Pharaoh objected to the release of the Israelites from their servitude. They were cheap labor and an economic benefit to Pharaoh and his household and to Egypt as a whole. Egypt was one of the largest and most powerful empires of the Bronze Age, approximately between 2500 and 1000 B.C.E. Most of this period of 1500 years, Egypt ruled from Tunisia in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, from across the heel of the boot of Italy, to Lake Victoria in Africa and on the East the Red Sea and the Straits of Hormuz. The Israelites were not the only slave group that was serving Egypt at that time. There were many other Asian and African slaves under the yoke of the Pharaoh in the second half of the second Millennium B.C.E., that were in servitude to Egypt. Allowing the Israelites to leave and be free would have unraveled the whole economic structure of the Egyptian empire. What Pharaoh and his magicians and wisemen didn’t know, is who the God of Israel was. It is for this reason that after Pharaoh hardened his own heart several times in the earlier chapters of the book of Exodus, now for the grand finale God hardens Pharaoh’s heart. This is what the text says: “Now the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, that I may show these signs of Mine before him, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.’” – Exodus 10:1,2 [NKJV] I feel that God is showing His hand to Moses and Aaron and the children of Israel. This is one of these fascinating points in God’s dealing with Israel and with all of His children. We, both Jews and Christians have a very naïve view of the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. In the Bible, and especially in the Passover narrative, God reveals Himself as a very cunning and media-minded all-powerful ruler. Might I say a very benevolent tyrant, who’s will and desire always gets carried out in full. We must not forget this point, my dear brothers and sisters, that we are dealing with the God who at least created our whole galaxy, including the sun and the moon and all the planets and stars, and maybe much more than our galaxy… In the first words of our Torah portion this Shabbat God shows special interest in the heritage that we, the children of Israel, will have for the future generations. This is what God tells Moses and Aaron are the reasons why He hardened Pharaoh’s heart not to allow the children of Israel to leave earlier. These are the reasons that God gives Moses for this hardening of Pharaoh’s heart: “…that I may show these signs of Mine before him, and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may know that I am the Lord.” If I translate these texts into our own language and time it would be something like this: “I am doing this to Pharaoh and Egypt for an educational program for the next generations of the Israelite children. I want to educate your children, and I might say the whole world over, so that they might know who is ‘I AM.’” This same idea is repeated again in our portion of the Torah reading this week in Exodus 12:23-27: “For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ that you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’” – Exodus 12:23-27 [NKJV] This is one of these texts that totally amazes me and gives me chills. Here is the Creator of the world. Yes, the whole world and everything that is in it – from the tadpole to the rhinoceros, from the tsunami in the ocean to the highest mountains in the Himalaya, all is created and made by the God of Israel: “For He so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son…” With all of God’s power and eternity under His belt, He worries about our next generation, about our snot-nosed children. Especially in these very dramatic historical moments, The Creator Himself is thinking about our next generation, about how we are going to share and teach and educate our next generations. This is not only here dear brothers and sisters. In the holiest text in the whole Bible notice what God is instructing us to do: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” – Deuteronomy 6:4-9 [NKJV] Just after this greatest of all proclamations in the Bible, a proclamation that is alluded to from the book of Exodus to the book of Revelation, the next words of God come down from the Olympus of theology and addresses the issue of “your children”. The Creator of the Universe is concerned with our children, with the future generations of disciples of Yeshua our Messiah. I realize that I got carried away with this very important theme in the Torah and in the prophets, and also in the New Testament. However, I am sad to say that in most Christian circles, churches, and communities, the children are not always at the top of the interests and priorities of the church. For this reason, there are so many seemingly devout Christian families who have lost at least some of their children to the world. For our children are the most efficient and sensitive Geiger counters of an honest and sincere relationship with the Creator. (Geiger counters are detectors of nuclear radiation, or in this case, spiritual bad-smelling stuff.) For this reason God, in His divine revelation, puts these most important moments in the holy history of salvation and emphasizes the importance of the children and the next generations. I realize that our Torah reading has so many important aspects and themes that carry through the whole bible to the book of Revelation, but I did get carried away with these first verses because I see the degradation of the youth and the next generations of followers of the Messiah in the world. I see the emphasis of the churches on the physical plant, the building, and other important things for the community, but the most important things that God puts so much emphasis upon are less emphasized and less invested. Sorry, for being carried away with this theme, but no apology. Your youth ministers (you should have more than one, at least one male and one female youth minister), they ought to be your premium and best-educated most supervised and best paid servants in your community, and the youth programs ought to be your most financially-invested.

The new variant of the coronavirus is driving the whole world into new measures of insanity. It seems like our government in Israel at least, is changing their tactics and instructions every Monday and Thursday.
The public in Israel is totally confused and now mistrusting the administration of the ministry of health. Israel has started the fourth round of vaccination and Marcia and I have had the first booster shot, and now we will have the second booster shot, which will be our fourth vaccination from the coronavirus.
We urge all our brothers and sisters around the world to be very careful and very vigilant to protect yourselves from the coronavirus, not only for yourselves, but for your communities, relatives, children and neighbors.

Our dear sister Renata Dias, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is out of the ICU but still in the hospital in Rio de Janeiro. Please pray for Renata’s quick recovery and exemption from complications of the illness and restoration of her normal breathing.
A dear brother and pastor Jorge from Belo-Horizonte, Brazil, is no longer in the hospital. Pastor Jorge is now with the Lord. Please pray for Bida his dear wife and for his sons. Please pray for the Har Zion Congregation in Belo-Horizonte because Pastor Jorge will be missed.
Please continue to pray for our dear brother Keijo Lindeman, who is having some issues with his heart. Keijo our dear brother is only three months older than me, and please pray for the right doctors and the right treatment for Keijo’s heart. Pray for him and his wife Salme – she too has some health issues that need God’s help.
They are both in their mid and late 70’s and with less than perfect health like all people who are in their mid-70’s. I pray for the Lord to bless and heal them and give them the strength that they need to continue their so very important ministry for Finland and for Israel.
Please continue to pray for Marcia, my wife. Marcia’s cognitive situation is complicated by the fact that she forgets to take insulin after she eats and that makes her blood sugar very high and very dangerous. Her rheumatoid arthritis is also flaring up. The pain in her joints is very strong. So, please lift Marcia up for healing in Yeshua’s name and pray for Marcia when you follow your prayer list. These next few weeks Marcia will do some CT scans and MRI scans to understand what is happening with her health.
Please pray for Danah my daughter and Noam my granddaughter. Pray that the Lord will protect them and inspire them and give them the strength and wisdom.
Please keep praying for Israel and the America-Iran negotiations in Europe. Pray that the USA doesn’t show weakness and fold and give the Iranians the green light to build their atomic weapons. And the deadly threat against Israel is still a topic that is important to pray for, that the Lord will turn away their murderous and deadly desire to destroy Israel.
Our dear sister Celestine from London, UK, lost her beloved husband in this coronavirus period and I am asking all of you to pray for Celestine our sister to find comfort in her faith and faithfulness. Pray the Lord will fill the void that the death of her husband created in her life. Pray that she will be supplied with all her needs and find a comfort in the Word of God.
Now Steve Mock is at home after the massive CVA (stroke) but with major challenges in his speech and mobility.
Our dear friend Mahmud Abu-Eid’s sister Gouzlan is very sick, and also Mahmud’s mother needs our prayers. The Abu-Eid family is one of the finest and dearest families of Palestinian friends and soul brothers that we have. Please lift them up in your prayers.
Pray and support Netivyah during these very hard times all around us, for opportunities to do good and to bless and feed and support the population of Israel, those in need whose number has increased by many percentage points during these difficult days in Israel.
Pray for our opportunities to do good and to be a blessing to the needy population in Jerusalem, and to believers who are students at the universities. God gives opportunities of joy and privilege and every opportunity that the Lord gives us to do good and to be a blessings, is also a test of our judgement and charity.
I ask for a special prayer for the spiritual authorities of the Orthodox Jewish world to wake up and seek unity and cooperation and partnership with each other and with the secular population of Israel (the majority).
Keep praying for the Rosenfeld family, the young and the old.

The Hamotzi food distribution program is going in full capacity during the holiday season and generously giving wonderful food, to over 150 families who are referred to us by the social Department of City Hall of Jerusalem. These families will have no lack on their holiday tables and their families will be able to bless the Lord for His mercy endures forever through your contributions and generosity.
The needs in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem are growing because of the unemployment of this coronavirus period and the needs of these dear people are growing. In order to supply the increased number of families that we are helping, we need the Lord to impress you, our dear brothers around the world, to also increase your prayers for Jerusalem and take advantage of the opportunities that the Lord is giving us and you, to help those in need.
Please pray for Netivyah and for the Netivyah leadership and find ways to partner and participate in the great blessing that the ministry of Netivyah is here in Israel and also around the world. We must pray for all our men who are right now serving in the Israeli Army both in the reserves and in the regular army. We must lift them up in prayer for protection and for their witness among the other soldiers with whom they serve.
Pray for all our wonderful, dedicated brothers and sisters in Korea, who stood with Israel and with Netivyah, to revive and to not forget their first love for Israel, and for Netivyah. Please pray for Korea Israel Bible Institute (KIBI) and for the two scientists who started KIBI in 1996 and who have been a great blessing to Israel and to the Jews in many countries, and also to us in Israel.
Keep Ruby Little in your prayers, our dear sister from Oklahoma City. Ruby just had some important tests and to see what the situation with her cancer. The results of these tests were not very good. He cancer has grown during these months and there is not much that can be done for the spread and growth of the tumors in Ruby’s body. Ruby is a brave sister. We ought to pray for the Lord’s healing and glorification of His name to touch Ruby’s body with healing and restore Ruby’s health. We do believe in that God can heal and heal even cancer that has metastasized.
Please lift these brothers and sisters in your prayers: Angela Isby, Deborah Isaiah, Aries Franklin Mayers Sr., and Tony Black. Keep praying for Nancy, Don and their son Aaron Hook, Rachel David Kim’s wife – Jingyung Lee. We can praise the Lord that David Kim found a place to minister and serve a local congregation in Korea.
Dr. Yuizawa, Tiz H., Lion H., Ilana Abramov, Cynthia Parveen’s sister, have improved from their illness but still need the Lord’s blessings and strength to keep improving.
Remember the following brothers and sisters from the Roeh Israel Congregation in Jerusalem; Sarit, Gabriela, Ahuva, Leah, Ilana, Hannah, young Gabriela, Jonathan B. and his wife Aviva and their baby. Pray for Sister Yoko Nagumo in Japan. Sister Yoko had a stroke, and we pray that her recovery will be quick and complete.
From Chennai, India, please remember Pastor Isaac. Pastor Isaac is an older man with severe kidney problems and has to have dialysis several times per week. Remember Tony and Louisa Tam, and our brothers and sisters at the 611 Church, and the other churches who love God and love Israel in that great city. Remember in your prayers the Cohen family in Hong Kong.
I am asking for you to pray for a dear sister Ema in China. She is a wonderful and very dear servant of the Lord and is in special need of much prayer and guidance from God.
Also please pray for a dear young family in Beijing, Daniel and Ayla. Ayla is pregnant in the last weeks of her term. Pray for a safe and healthy delivery for both mother and child.
Just a word of grace before the mercy seat of the Almighty will be heard in favor of these brothers and Um Mahmud Abu-Eid and Jimmy Abu-Eid and his family, Keijo and Salme our dear brothers in Finland, Tim Tucker, Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami our dear sister and all our other brothers and sisters in Finland who need our prayers, Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia and Victor, and Aaron Tani, and Hillel and his wife.
We continue to pray for Zhou Wenrian, Abe family, Toru San, Takeo Sensei, Daisuke Sensei, Tomoko San, Yumi and her father Pastor Ohara, George, and Pastor Isaac in Chennai, India.
Please pray for the Rantavaara family and especially for Pekka our dear brother and for his whole family. Pekka is in advanced stages of Parkinson and needs the Lord’s healing and strength.
Pray for Paulo. Paulo is a tormented dear brother. He needs the hand of God to touch him with healing for the soul.

Ahuva. Please pray for a dear brother who is well into his 90’s and lost his wife a couple of weeks ago. His name is Dov H. Please keep in your prayers a dear sister who attends our congregation in Jerusalem. Her name is Hadassah and she just had cancer surgery. Pray for Hadassah for a full recovery and remission from any cancer in her body.
All these brothers and sisters are faithful to the Lord and a blessing to Netivyah and to Israel. Please don’t neglect to pray for them all, by name!
I would like a new prayer request for a dear brother Yehuda Hochman who lives in the Negev Desert. Yehuda has to receive Dialysis treatment several times per week.

Pray for some dear friends, Rabbi Salt, and his family and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.
Please pray for our two grandchildren. They are both graduating in a few weeks from high school. They are both facing this important change in their lives.
Please pray for Yeshua College in Harare, Zimbabwe. We have a number of teachers in this new college for the Lemba, tribe in Africa from the Netivyah Staff in Jerusalem, and from Brazil.
It is a major challenge and a project of such great importance. Yehuda and Daniel and Matheus and I are the only teachers now, but we must pray for more teachers.
The students are adults, already leading congregations in the countryside of Zimbabwe and coming to Harare for three weeks to study and sharpen their tools to do the work of the Lord in their country and among the Lemba tribe.
We start classes again in Harare, Zimbabwe, on January 17th, 2022. Please keep us in your prayers.
