요셉 슐람
이번 안식일 토라 포션은 바예쉐브, 창세기 37:1~40:23이며, 선지서에서는 아모스 2:6-3:8, 신약성경에서는 마태복음 1:18-25입니다.
토라 포션 바예쉐브는 요셉 이야기의 시작입니다. 요셉 이야기는 최초의 완전한 극적인 단편 소설입니다. 이것은 소설의 모든 요소를 가지고 있습니다. 처음에 주제는 사랑에서 미움으로 갔습니다. 야곱은 요셉을 특별히 사랑하여 요셉을 편애했습니다. 야곱은 요셉에게 채색옷을 지어줌으로써 요셉을 구별합니다. 야곱의 행동은 요셉의 형들로 하여금 요셉을 더 싫어하게 만들었고, 그들은 요셉을 미워하기까지 했습니다. 아버지인 우리들은 다른 아이들에 비해 한 아이를 더 예뻐하는 것이 결코 현명하거나 아무런 이득이 되지 못한다는 것을 배워야만 합니다. 그것은 우리 아이들 사이와, 부모와 자녀 사이에 불화를 일으킵니다. 이 이야기 끝에 가면 주님께서 어떻게 야곱의 실수와 요셉의 실수와 요셉의 형들의 악한 의도를 사용하셨는지 이해할 수 있게 됩니다. 아마 이번 토라 포션에서 가장 큰 교훈은 하나님께서는 실수, 시기, 미움, 골치 아픈 일들과 심지어 불의해 보이는 일들까지 사용하여 이런 골치 아픈 일들과 곤란한 일들에서 선을 이끌어내실 수 있다는 것입니다. 당연히 여러분이 힘든 시기를 지나는 동안에는, 비참하고, 어쩌면 몹시 어찌할 바를 모르고, 화가 날지도 모릅니다. 저는 요셉이 구덩이에 빠져있고 미래가 아주 불확실했을 때, 그의 상황이 그다지 기분 좋지 않았으리라 믿습니다. 저는 그가 보디발에게 노예로 팔렸을 때 그의 청소년시절 하나님께서 그에게 주신 꿈이 이루어질 희망을 볼 수 없었으리라 믿습니다. 요셉이 모든 상황에서 탁월하고 현재 처한 그의 어둑한 현실을 초월할 수 있게 만든 힘은 무엇이었을까요? 제가 믿기에 요셉이 그의 현실을 뛰어넘어 하나님의 축복 아래 들어갈 수 있도록 염두에 둔 점들은 이렇습니다. 1. 가만! 탁월할 수 있는 기회가 있는지 주위를 둘러보라. 2. 상사의 아내를 성적 겁탈했다는 거짓 고소로 옥에 갇히는 것 같이 가장 어려운 상황에서도 필요로 하며 유용한 사람이 되기를 항상 도모하라! 3. 네가 축복받는 것 같지 않을 때라도 다른 사람들을 섬기며 축복하며 그들을 행복하게 만들어줄 방법을 찾으라. 요셉 이야기는 야곱이 요셉에게 채색옷을 만들어주는 사건으로 시작됩니다. 주 하나님께서는 웅대한 꿈을 더하시어 요셉의 상황을 복잡하게 만드십니다. 요셉은 그의 형들이 그를 숭배해 그에게 절하리라는 꿈을 꾸었습니다. 성경의 모든 위대한 꿈들과 마찬가지로 여기에서도 똑같은 의미를 가진 두 가지 버전으로 나타났습니다. 이런 패턴은 바로의 꿈에서도 반복되었습니다. 하나는 소로, 또 다른 하나는 밀 이삭 단으로 두 가지 버전의 같은 꿈이었습니다. 요셉 이야기에서 아주 주목할 만한 한 가지 사실이 있습니다. 요셉은 한 번도 불평하지 않습니다. 그는 그가 처한 상황을 받아들였고 그가 어디에 놓이든지 그의 섬김은 주목을 받았고 매번 승격이 되어 높은 자리에 올랐습니다. 저는 요셉의 성품의 이런 태도와 힘은 요셉이 그의 꿈을 통해 받은 믿음 덕분이었다고 하겠습니다. 그는 그가 위대해질 것과 그의 형들이 그를 숭배하게 될 것을 믿었습니다. 하나님의 약속을 믿는 이 믿음은 요셉을 온전한 정신으로 지켜주고 그가 그의 일에 집중하여 그의 봉사를 통해 성공하고 탁월함을 보여줄 수 있게 한 힘이었습니다. 요셉은 바울이 로마서 8:28에서 경이롭게 천명한 원리를 이해하고 있었습니다: “우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그의 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 합력하여 선을 이루느니라.” – 로마서 8:28 이 구절은 “우리가 알거니와 …”라고 복수로 말하고 있습니다. 저는 저의 귀한 형제자매님인 여러분께 다음과 같은 제안을 합니다: 지금 이 세대에 있는 우리는 아직도 이 진리를 모릅니다. 그런데 우리는 그것을 배우되, 속히 배워야 합니다. 이 세상의 미래, 특별히 이스라엘에 있는 저희의 미래는 쉬워 보이지 않습니다. 국민으로서, 이스라엘 국가로서 우리가 극복해야 하는 문제들은 크고 어려워 보이며, 우리가 잘 통과하거나 쉽게 극복하지 못할 수도 있습니다. 우리는 사도 바울의 이 말을 믿어야 하며 요셉 이야기에서 이 진리를 보아야 합니다. 요셉은 애굽 보디발의 집에서 종살이를 하게 되는 처지에 이르게 된 때에도 하나님의 약속을 믿었고, 애굽 감옥에서도 그의 섬김과 그가 하는 모든 일에서 탁월하고자 하는 마음을 유지했으며, 그것은 그에게 옥에서도 승진하고 애굽 나라의 바로왕 다음의 2인자가 될 기회를 만들어주었습니다. 저는 자기계발 도서와 경영 도서를 몇 권 읽어본 적이 있습니다. 그런데 이런 자기계발 도서 중 그 어느 것도 제게 요셉과 그의 형들 이야기만큼의 영향력이 없었습니다. 이번 토라 포션 요셉 이야기에서 우리가 배울 수 있는 짧은 목록은 이렇습니다. 요셉은 이렇게 되었습니다: 1. 부자에서 가난뱅이로. 2. 아버지의 사랑 받는 자에서 형들의 미움 받는 자로. 3. (완전히 무고하면서도 거짓 고소 때문에) 애굽 감옥의 가난뱅이와 옥살이에서 바로왕 다음의 2인자로. 4. 요셉은 그의 형들이 그에게 행한 악에 대해 악으로 되갚지 않았습니다. 요셉은 사도 바울이 로마서 8:28에서 천명한 원리를 이해하고 있었습니다: “당신들은 나를 해하려 하였으나 하나님은 그것을 선으로 바꾸사 오늘과 같이 많은 백성의 생명을 구원하게 하시려 하셨나니” – 창세기 50:20 우리가 성경 전체와 바로 오늘까지 저희 유대 역사에서도 아주 일반적인 이 원리를 이해할 수 있다면, 우리는 스트레스가 많은 사건들 속에서도 훨씬 더 확실해지고 훨씬 더 확신에 차고 용기를 얻게 될 것입니다. 우리의 불안과 의심은 우리가 어떤 일들은 고통이나 고생 없이 일어나지 않는다는 사실을 이해하지 못하는 데서 말미암습니다. 이 원리를 가장 잘 보여주는 예는 여인이 애를 낳는 것입니다. 적어도 고통이나 고생 없는 출산은 없습니다. 우리가 우리 삶과 우리가 사는 세상에서 뭔가를 바꾸어 향상시키고 싶을 때마다, 거기에는 스트레스와 고통과 고생이 있고, 때로는 조롱도 있고, 어떤 경우에는 물리적 학대와 매를 맞는 일도 있습니다. 사도 바울이 고린도후서에서 말한 바와 같이 그가 그의 평생에 한 번 이상 겪은 사십에서 하나 감한 매를 맞은 것처럼 말이지요: “유대인들에게 사십에서 하나 감한 매를 다섯 번 맞았으며” – 고린도후서 11:24 저는 개인적으로 제 생애 세 번의 그런 시도를 겪은 적이 있습니다. 첫 번째는 1970년대 중반 시온산에서 예쉬바에서 나오던 중에 그랬습니다. 두 번째는 새벽 3시에 저희 집 거실의 커다란 창을 깨고 두 개의 화염병이 날아들었을 때였습니다. 그 중 하나는 폭발하여 저희 새 가죽 쇼파를 태웠습니다. 저는 집에 소화기가 있었기에 불을 끌 수 있었습니다. 다른 하나는, 하나님께 감사하게도, 쇼파 위에 떨어져서 폭발하지 않고 그대로 있었습니다. 세 번째는 누군가 새벽 5시에 제 차의 오른쪽 앞바퀴의 큰 너트들과 코터핀을 빼냈을 때였습니다. 다행히 신호등 빨간불에서 몇 야드 갔을 때 오른쪽 앞바퀴가 탈이 났습니다. 차의 피해는 최소였습니다. 저는 다치지 않았고 차는 수리되고 그런 일을 했을 거라고 우리가 의심하는 자들에 대한 경찰 수사보고서가 제출되었습니다. 제 경우 반대자가 끔찍한 악을 시도할 때마다 주님께서는 그것을 뒤바꾸어 복음을 전할 큰 기회로 삼으셨습니다. 화염병 두 개가 날아든 경우는 새벽 3시에 그 일이 일어났는데, 새벽 6시에 온 이스라엘 텔레비전 뉴스 채널이 제 아파트에서 저를 인터뷰했고 그것은 하루 종일 매 시간마다 폭파시도 뉴스로 방송되었습니다. 저는 3분30초 동안 제가 누구며, 그 화염병이 왜 저희 집 거실로 날아들었다고 생각하는지, 그리고 이런 시도가 얼마나 오랫동안 계속될 거라고 생각하는지 피력했습니다. 그렇습니다. 우리에게 일어난 가장 끔찍한 일조차 하나님 나라를 위해 위대한 일이 일어날 기회로 삼을 수 있습니다. 저는 제2차 세계대전이나 일어났던 거대 악을 이용하여 여러 중요한 기술적 발전들의 결과가 있었고 온 세상에 유익이 되게 할 수도 있었음을 말씀 드릴 수 있을 것 같습니다. 세계에 그리고 유럽에 있는 대로들은 전쟁 직전 혹은 전쟁 발발 때 건설되었습니다. 그 원리는 어떤 사건들이 일어나 매우 불쾌하고 때로는 고통스러울 수 있는 상황을 만들지만, 이런 종류의 사건들의 결과가 경이롭게도 출판과 개인 인터뷰의 연속이 되며, 심지어 종교적 자유와 박해의 두려움 없이 신앙을 표현할 수 있는 자유를 신봉하는 그룹의 지지를 얻게 되기도 한다는 것입니다. 요셉은 이런 원리의 위대한 표본이며, 요셉 이야기와 그에게 “샬롬”조차 말하지 않으며 그를 미워했던 형들에 대한 그의 태도는 우리 삶의 어렵고 힘든 사건들을 180도 바꾸어 우리의 삶을 영원히 변화되게 하시는 하나님의 능력을 보여주는 멋진 시연 중 하나입니다. 요셉은 저의 영웅이며 그의 이야기는 메시아의 이야기와 너무도 많은 유사점이 있습니다. 네티비야는 다른 기회에 야곱의 아들 요셉과 하나님의 아들 예슈아에 대한 엘하난 벤 아브라함의 작은 책자를 재출간 할 것입니다!

특별히 저는 여러분께 기본적으로는 경각에 달렸으나 대체로 선한 의도를 가진 이스라엘 정부를 위해 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다. 우리는 이것을 하나님의 뜻으로 받아들여야 합니다. 저는 하나님의 기적적인 뜻이라고 더하고 싶습니다.
이스라엘 정부는 비교적 짧은 시간에 국가 예산을 통과시켰습니다. 이스라엘은 3년 동안 예산이 없었고 지난 정부의 지출은 예산 없이 된 것이었습니다.

하나님의 이름으로 가장 중요하고 가장 효과적인 선한 일들에 축복이 될 선택을 하는 판단을 테스트하는 것이며, 주님을 영화롭게 하며 우리의 충성됨을 보여주도록 후하고 선한 마음으로 주는 자선을 테스트하는 것입니다. 저희 편에 서서 이 축복을 누리십시오!

The Jerusalem Prayer List – November 25, 2021

This next Shabbat the Torah reading is Vayeshev, Genesis 37:1 - 40:23, from the prophets: Amos 2:6-3:8, New Testament: Matthew 1:18-25.
The Torah portion of Vayeshev is the beginning of the story of Joseph. The story of Joseph is the first full dramatic short novel. It has all the elements of a novel. In the beginning the theme is from love to hate. Jacob especially loves Joseph and is partial toward Joseph. Jacob singles out Joseph by giving him a coat of many colors. Jacob’s act makes Joseph’s brothers dislike Joseph even more, they hate Joseph. As fathers we ought to learn that preferring one child over our other children is never wise or beneficial. It creates a rift between our children, and between us parents and our children. One can understand Jacob at the end of the story how the Lord used the mistakes of Jacob and those of Joseph and the evil intentions of the brothers of Joseph. Probably the greatest lesson from this Torah portion is that God can use what seems like mistakes, jealousy, hate, problems, even injustice, and get good out of these problems and tribulations. Of course, during the period that you are going through the hard times, you are miserable, maybe bitterly hopeless, and angry. I am sure that when Joseph was in the well and his future was so unsure, his condition was not so cheerful. I am sure that when he was sold to Potiphar as a slave he couldn’t see much hope of fulfilling the dreams that God gave him in his youth. What was the power that enabled Joseph to excel in every situation and float above the dim reality of his present situation? Here are the points that I believe Joseph took into account to be able to raise above his present reality and come under the blessings of God. 1. Stop! Look around for an opportunity to excel. 2. Seek always to become needed and useful even under the most difficult circumstances, like being put in prison falsely accused of sexual abuse of the wife of your boss! 3. When you don’t feel blessed look for ways to serve and bless others and make them happy. The story of Joseph starts with Jacob making Joseph a coat of many colors. The Lord God adds and complicates Joseph’s situation with dreams of grandeur. Joseph dreams that his brothers will worship him, and bow down to him. Here, like all the great dreams of the Bible, they appear in two versions that have the same meaning. This pattern is repeated with Pharaoh’s dreams. The same dream in two versions, one with cows and the other with sheaves of wheat. There is one thing that is very noticeable in the story of Joseph. Joseph never complains. He accepts the situation and no matter where he is placed his service is noticed and He is upgraded and raised to high positions in every circumstance. This attitude and force in Joseph’s character, I attribute to the faith that Joseph had received through his dreams. He believed that he will be great and his brothers will worship him. This faith in God’s promises was the force that kept Joseph sane, and allowed him to focus on his work and to be successful and to display excellence through his service. Joseph understood the principle that Paul so wonderfully states in Romans 8:28: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28 [NKJV] This verse speaks in the plural, “We know…” I propose to you, my dear brothers and sisters ,the following proposal: We now, in this generation, still don’t know this truth. But, we must learn it and do so quickly. The future of this world, and especially of us in Israel, does not seem to be an easy future. The challenges that we have as a people, and as the state of Israel, seem great and difficult and there might be some that we might not be able to pass through or overcome easily. We need to believe these words of the apostle Paul and see the reflection of this truth in the story of Joseph. Joseph believed the promises of God, to the point that even during his slavery in the house of Potiphar, in Egypt, and even in the Egyptian prison, he maintained his desire to serve and excel in all the things that he did, and that created an opportunity for him to be raised from the jail and to be the second in Egypt, only to the great Pharaoh. I have read a few books of self-improvement, and a few books on management. However, none of these modern books of self-improvement had the force or influence on me that the story of Joseph and his brothers did. Here is a short list of what we can learn from the story of Joseph in the Torah – Joseph went: 1. From riches to poverty. 2. From being loved by his father to be hated by his brothers. 3. From poverty and jail in the Egyptian prison (for a false accusation, while being totally innocent) to becoming second to the great Pharaoh. 4. Joseph did not return evil for the evil that his brothers did him. Joseph understood the principle that the apostle Paul stated in Romans 8:28: “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” – Genesis 50:20 [NKJV] If we could understand this principle that is so prevailing in the whole Bible, and in our Jewish history as well, even until this very day, we would be so much more secure and so much more convicted and encouraged even through the days of stressful events. Our insecurities and doubts come from the fact that we don’t understand that somethings don’t happen without pain, and without suffering. The best example of this principle is a woman who is giving birth. There is no birth without at least some pain and suffering. Every time that we want to change and improve something in our own lives and in our world it involves stress, pain, suffering, sometimes mocking and ridicule, and other times physical abuse and beating, 49 stripes with a whip, like the apostle Paul experienced more than once in his life as he says in the second letter to the church in Corinth: “From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one.” – 2 Corinthians 11:24 [NKJV] I personally have experienced three times attempts on my life. The first time was on Mount Zion coming out of the Yeshiva in the mid 1970’s. The second time was when at 3:00 a.m. two Molotov cocktails penetrated our big bay window in the living room. One of the bottles actually exploded and burned our new leather sofa. I was able to put the fire out because we had fire extinguishers at home. The other, thank God, didn’t explode and remained intact because it fell on top of the sofa. The third time was when someone at 5:00 am removed the lug nuts and cotter pin of the right front wheel of my car. Fortunately the right front wheel broke when I was a few yards from a red light. The damage to the car was minimal. I was not hurt, the car was repaired and a police report was filed against those whom we suspected had done it. In my case, every time the opposition intended horrible evil, the Lord turned it around and created great opportunities for sharing the Good News. In the case of the two Molotov Cocktails (fire bombs) it happened at 3:00 a.m., and at 6:00 a.m. all the Israeli Television and News networks were in my apartment interviewing me, and they broadcasted the news of the attempted bombing every hour on the hour throughout the whole day. I had 3.5 minutes of time to share who I am, why I think that the Molotov cocktails were lobbed into my living room, and how long I thought these attacks might continue. Yes, even the most horrible things that happen to us create opportunities for great things to happen for the Kingdom of God. I could use macro-historical events like World War II and the great evils that occurred and the many important technological developments that resulted that have benefited the whole world. The highways that exist in the world and in Europe were built just prior to and during the beginning of the war. The principle is that events take place and create a situation that could be very unpleasant and sometimes painful, but the aftermath of these kinds of events could be a wonderful streak of publications, and personal interviews, and even support from groups that believe in religious freedom and freedom to express your faith without the fear of persecution. Joseph is a great example of this principle, and the story of Joseph and his attitude toward his brothers, who wouldn’t even say “shalom” to him and hated him, is one of these wonderful demonstrations of the power of God to turn difficult and hard events in our lives around 180 degrees, to the point where our lives are changed for good. Joseph is my hero and his story has so many parallels with the story of the Messiah that on another occasion Netivyah will republish Elchanan Ben Abraham’s small booklet about Joseph son of Jacob and Yeshua son of God!

Luisa, the granddaughter of a dear brother from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is very ill with coronavirus and needs our prayers and supplications to the Lord to heal, she is a very sweet young girl that was hospitalized a week ago for other problems, and probably was infected with COVID-19 in the hospital. Now Luisa is very sick and needs our prayers for recovery and getting out of this horrible illness soon and fully healed.
Keep praying for the healing of my left eye that was blind, and after several surgeries in Jerusalem Hadassah Hospital I do see, but still need more healing and more medication for a prolonged period of time to keep the transplant healing.
Marcia, my dear wife, and I, are in the United States for a memorial service for Marcia’s mother and also for teaching at several congregations in the United States.
I am also continuing teaching through Zoom in Asia and in Africa almost daily. The hours are difficult because of the time differences, but I am surviving.
Please pray for Marcia, my wife’s health conditions, and challenges. Marcia’s body is weak and her memory is also suffering. We are going to have to have a full-time care giver when we return to Israel. We ask you for your prayer and your intercession for Marcia and for our family.
Please continue to pray for Danah our daughter and Noam our granddaughter.
Please continue praying for the Christian brothers and sisters who are left in Afghanistan in the hands of the Taliban. These brothers and sisters are in grave physical danger for their lives. The more time that passes, the more the condition of our brothers and sisters in Afghanistan is not getting better.
Please continue to pray for my children and grandchildren. Barry our son, and his wife Beth, and our grandson Joseph. We are praying for their staying above and beyond the coronavirus and blessed in their work.
Please keep praying for Steve (Asher) Mock, one of my disciples, a man of God, who had a CVA (stroke) and was in the ICU. Now Steve Mock is at home, but with big challenges in his speech and mobility.
Our dear friend Mahmud Abu-Eid’s sister Gouzlan is very sick, and also Mahmud’s mother needs our prayers. The Abu-Eid family is one of the finest and dearest families of Palestinian friends and soul brothers that we have. Please lift them up in your prayers.
Please pray also for Jimmy, the son of the Abu-Eid family. He is getting married in a week and needs our prayer and blessing in this marriage.
The apostle Paul commands us to pray for the wellbeing of our government. The idea behind this command is a very old biblical idea. The Lord God of all is the one who controls His world and He is the one that ultimately appoints the powers that rule this world, our governments.
We receive the governments that we as a nation, not as individuals, our corporate body deserve. For this reason let us all pray for our governments that they will be just and righteous and have a deep and sincere concern for the welfare of their citizens.
Specifically I ask you to pray for the Israeli government that is basically hanging by a thread, but with a whole lot of good intentions. We must accept it as the will of God, and I would add the miraculous will of God.
They did pass a budget for the state of Israel in a relatively short time. Israel didn’t have a budget for three years and the spending of the last government was without a budget.
I beg God for mercy on His people and on His land. I ask for the mercy of God to give the spiritual leadership of the Jews and Christians and Muslims and Druze, and the secular sector of this land that is actually the majority of the people to come to the conclusion that we must learn to love and respect each other and learn to live together in peace!
Pray and support Netivyah during these very hard times, for opportunities to do good and to bless and feed and support the population of Israel, those in need whose number has increased by many percentage points during these difficult days in Israel.
Pray for our opportunities to do good and to be a blessing to the needy population in Jerusalem, and to believers who are students at the universities. God gives opportunities of joy and privilege and every opportunity that the Lord gives us to do good and to be a blessings, is also a test of our judgement and charity.
A test of our judgment is to make choices that are going to be a blessing to the most important and the most effective good works of God, in God’s name. The test of our charity is to give generously and with a good heart in order to honor our Lord and to show our faithfulness. Stand with us and enjoy the blessings!
It is very very seldom that I appeal for financial support for Netivyah. However, the situation with the Coronavirus in Israel like in the whole world has opened opportunities to do good and bless people (not only disciples of Yeshua) and to share the love and care of the Lord in a tangible way that is second to none.
I ask for a special prayer for the spiritual authorities of the Orthodox Jewish world to wake up and seek unity and cooperation and partnership with each other and with the secular population of Israel (the majority).

The needs in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem are growing because of the unemployment of this coronavirus period and the needs of these dear people are growing. In order to supply the increased number of families that we are helping, we need the Lord to impress you, our dear brothers around the world, to also increase your prayers for Jerusalem and take advantage of the opportunities that the Lord is giving us and you, to help those in need.

I am asking for you to pray for a dear sister Ema in China. She is a wonderful and very dear servant of the Lord and is in special need of much prayer and guidance from God.

Noam our granddaughter also had her 18th birthday on May 1st. This was a very big day for Noam. She is free from high school and also from other obligations and is privileged to make her own decisions and choices in life. Pray for Noam on this major crossroad of life for her and ask the Lord to bless Noam and to give her clear direction and guidance for what is good and right and holy in her life.
One last prayer request for this week. You will think that I am crazy and you will want to commit me to the “funny farm.” I am now teaching four days per week three hours each day in Harare, Zimbabwe, in what is called Yeshua College. In fact my title is “Academic Dean!”
All the students are from the Lemba tribe in Africa, they are all פastors and leaders in congregations. The challenge is enormous and the load for a 75-year-old man with high mileage for 60 years is also enormous. The need is also enormous and taking upon myself this load is crazy enough for a younger more capable man.
For an old one-eyed Jew it is more than enormous! It requires divine grace and strength and health and every other kind of physical and spiritual vitamin. This project was started and inspired and is financed by a dear friend who also needs our prayer.
Just pray for Joseph Shulam and for our dear friend R.W. Ask the Lord to bless him and his family and his work.
I wish all of you, who stand with Israel and who pray for Jerusalem, the best of the Lord’s blessings and the fulfillment of all His promises to His faithful children. Those who hear God and do His will are the ones who are called wise! Those who only hear His word and don’t do it are called foolish! Let us all strive to be wise and never foolish! The best is yet to come!
