이번 안식일 토라 포션은 토라에서 가장 극적인 본문 중 하나입니다. 이번 안식일 전 세계 모든 회당에서 읽을 토라 포션의 이름은 “쉘라흐 레카”(민수기 13:1–15:41)입니다. 문자 그대로 이 토라 포션의 첫 단어들은 이런 뜻입니다:

“너는 사람을 보내라.”

제가 가장 좋아하는 영어 번역본인 신(新)킹제임스흠정역조차도 히브리어 원문의 뉘앙스를 제대로 전달하기에는 어려움이 있습니다. 히브리어에는 다른 언어로 번역할 때 포착하기 어려운 단어가 두 개 있습니다. 첫 번째 단어는 “라투르(Latur)”인데, 문자 그대로 “땅을 두루 살피다”라는 뜻입니다. 여기에 사용된 히브리어 단어 “라투르”는 “땅을 탐색하다”라는 의미로도 해석될 수 있습니다. 본문 뒷부분에서 우리는 모세가 땅을 두루 살피도록 보낸 이 열두 지도자들의 임무에 대한 더 자세한 설명을 볼 수 있습니다. 우리는 모세가 진정으로 원했던 정보가 무엇이었는지 알게 됩니다: 그 땅이 비옥한지 아닌지, 성읍들이 성벽으로 요새화되어 있는지 아닌지였습니다. 하지만 본문 후반부에서 우리는 “탐사자”로 파견된 이 사람들이 모세가 보낸 이 임무의 맥락에서 “정탐꾼(첩보원)”으로도 부르는 것을 보게 됩니다.

하나님의 말씀에 따르면, “찌찌트”는 일종의 상기시키는 표징이자 표식입니다:

“이 술은 너희가 보고 여호와의 모든 계명을 기억하여 준행하고 …” (민수기 15:39)

정탐꾼들은 육신의 눈으로 보았습니다. “찌찌트”는 이스라엘 백성에게 영적인 눈으로 보라고 가르칩니다. 이는 우연이 아닙니다.

이 경우, 신(新)킹제임스흠정역본에도 여호수아 2장에 명확하게 나와 있는 매우 중요한 구절이 빠져 있습니다. 다음은 여호수아 2:17-21의 히브리어 본문을 단어 하나하나 정확하게 번역한 것입니다.

여호수아 2:17 “그 사람들이 그에게 이르되 네가 우리에게 서약하게 한 이 맹세에 대하여 우리가 허물이 없게 하리니 18 우리가 이 땅에 들어올 때에 우리를 달아 내린 창문에 이 붉은 줄을 매고 네 부모와 형제와 네 아버지의 가족을 다 네 집에 모으라 19 누구든지 네 집 문을 나가서 거리로 가면 그의 피가 그의 머리로 돌아갈 것이요 우리는 허물이 없으리라 그러나 누구든지 너와 함께 집에 있는 자에게 손을 대면 그의 피는 우리의 머리로 돌아오려니와 20 네가 우리의 이 일을 누설하면 네가 우리에게 서약하게 한 맹세에 대하여 우리에게 허물이 없으리라 하니”

여호수아 2:21 “라합이 이르되 너희의 말대로 할 것이라 하고 그들을 보내어 가게 하고 붉은 줄을 창문에 매니라”

여호수아 2장 21절 히브리어 본문의 마지막 붉은 줄을 번역한 이 글의 의미는 매우 중요합니다. 정탐꾼과 라합 사이에 일어난 사건에 대한 해설로서도 심오한데, 라합이 두 이스라엘 사람을 내려보내 목숨을 구한 그 붉은 줄은, 이스라엘 백성이 돌아와 약속을 지켜 라합과 그녀의 가족을 여리고 성벽이 무너지는 가운데 구원할 것이라는 보증이 되었기 때문입니다.

The Jerusalem Prayer List – 6 June, 2026

The reading on this Shabbat is one of the most dramatic texts in the Torah. The name of the Torah portion that is read in all the synagogues in the world on this Shabbat is Sh'lach Lecha (Numbers 13:1–15:41). Literally, the first words of our reading say:

"Send for yourself men".

Here is the whole verse: Numbers 13:1-2

"And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 'Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them."

The translation to English even in the New King James, that is my favorite English translation, has a hard time trying to bring the nuances of the Hebrew. There are two words in Hebrew that are hard to capture in translation to other languages. The first word is "Latur," literally it means to tour the land. The Hebrew word "Latour" that is used here could also mean to search the land. Later in the text, we find a more detailed description of the task of these 12 leaders who are sent by Moses to tour the land. We find out what information Moses really wanted: Is the land fertile or not? Are the cities fortified with walls or not?" But later in the text, we see that these men who were sent to be "tourists" in the land are also called "spies" in the context of this mission that Moses sends them.

The second interesting thing is that the men that are sent to "tour" the land are the leaders of each tribe! Twelve tribes send their leaders that makes 12 "tourists" = Spies. Normally speaking, you send spies who are trained men, but in this case, Moses sends the leaders of each tribe – It would be like our Prime Minister, Mr. Bibi Netanyahu, would send twelve of his cabinet ministers to go to Iran and spy! For me, this is already an interesting issue. Moses sends these twelve men, the leaders of every one of the twelve tribes of Israel. So, these men, most probably not the youngest men in their tribes, go out from the wilderness of Paran in the Sinai Desert to "tour the land."

Another interesting remark in the Biblical text is that the mission of these twelve men is to check out "tour" the land and describe what is going on in this land that God promises to Moses will be given to the nation of Israel. The promises of God that He will give the land of Canaan to the seed of Abraham, the nation of Israel, don't start here in the book of Numbers, chapter 13. Here is a list of all the places in the Bible that God promised to give the land of Israel to the nation of Israel.

The promise of the Land of Canaan to Israel is one of the central themes of the Bible. It begins with God's covenant with Abraham and is repeated to Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, and the nation of Israel. Below are some of the most important passages from the NKJV. I am not going to bring all the texts in full, but most of the texts in the early books of the Bible I will bring, and the rest of the texts I will bring only the references. If you are interested in all the texts, please open your Bible and check them.

1. God's Promise to Abraham:

Genesis 12:1–7 "Now the LORD had said to Abram: 'Get out of your country, from your family and from your father's house to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.' Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, 'To your descendants I will give this land.'"

Genesis 13:14–15: "And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:' Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.'"

Genesis 15:18–21: "On the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying:' To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates: the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.'"

Genesis 17:7–8: "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also, I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God."

2. Promise Repeated to Isaac

Genesis 26:2–5: "Then the LORD appeared to him and said:' Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.'"

3. Promise Repeated to Jacob

Genesis 28:13–15: "And behold, the LORD stood above it and said:' I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.'"

Genesis 35:11–12: "Also God said to him:' I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body. The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I give to you; and to your descendants after you I give this land.'"

4. Promise Renewed Through Moses:

Exodus 6:2–8 "I am the LORD. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the LORD."

Exodus 23:31 "And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the sea, Philistia, and from the desert to the river. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand."

5. Promise Repeated Before Entering the Land

Deuteronomy 1:8. "See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the LORD swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them."

Deuteronomy 7:12–13 "The LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers."

Deuteronomy 11:24 "Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory."

Deuteronomy 30:3–5 "Then the LORD your God will bring you back from captivity and gather you again from all the nations, Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it."

I am sorry this list is going to be several more pages long. I decided just to do a summary statement. Before I summarise this list, I would like to state that this issue is still the hottest topic of the news in the whole world for 100 years. From the turn of the 20th century until this very day, the whole Middle East and much of the world are dealing with the issues that God's giving of the Land of Canaan to the Children of Israel as an inheritance is one of the big issues and problems in our world until now. I ask you, dear brothers and sisters, to pray for the land of Israel and the continuation of God fulfilling his promises to the children of Israel and the world.

Summary

The Bible repeatedly teaches that:

1. God promised the land of Canaan to Abraham and his descendants (Genesis 12, 13, 15, 17).

2. The promise was renewed to Isaac and Jacob (Genesis 26, 28, 35).

3. God reaffirmed the covenant through Moses (Exodus and Deuteronomy).

4. Joshua led Israel into possession of the land according to God's oath.

5. The covenant is described as an everlasting covenant and the land as an everlasting possession (Genesis 17:8; Psalm 105:10–11).

6. The prophets foretold future returns of Israel to the land after exile (Ezekiel 36–37; Amos 9).

7. When the 12 leaders return to the camp of Israel in the desert, they bring Two Reports:
All twelve "tourists = spies, see the same land. Ten spies focus on: Giants, Fortified cities, Military strength, and on their own fears and limitations.

Joshua and Caleb focus on their faith and trust in God's promises, and God's power and God's faithfulness. These are all the differences, and I have been in ministry since the age of 22-year-old. The Lord has used me in Israel to lead one of the most unique ministries in this land, and with seeds planted on four continents, the issue of how we process what we see is always the most important issue. Do we have eyes based on faith in God and standing on His promises, or do we allow our human natural cowardice to make us shake with insecurity and fears that might be rational but not based on God's promises? In all these years, from the age of 16 till now, 80 years old, I have seen just about everything that the human mind can imagine, and the most common thing that happens when there is a great opportunity and a challenge to stand on God's promises, like the good old Christian song says: "Standing on the promises of God my King" is the challenge. Look, dear brothers and sisters, these twelve leaders of the tribes of Israel all left Egypt, and all crossed the Red Sea on dry land. They all eat manna fresh every morning and for free every day. Now they are at the threshold of reaping the fruit that God has promised them, and 10 out of the twelve men, leaders, heads of their tribes, come back, promising on what they fear.

Two men, Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh. Two men who were born in Egypt to families of slaves. Two men who were close to Moses remember what happened on the western shores of the Red Sea. Two men who stood in battles against the enemies of Israel in the desert. Most of the people of Israel, not only the leaders, have seen and experienced the wonderful victory over the Egyptian Army that chased them into the Sinai desert and in the end drowned in the Red Sea. So, what was the reason that the 10 other men had a report that Israel cannot take the inhabitants of the land promised to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses?

The 12 leaders of the tribes of Israel all saw the same thing in the land of Canaan; they all tasted the grapes and the good vegetables and saw the riches of the land. Yet, 10 of the 12 men came with a negative impoverished report without faith, and two men came with faith that said; We can do it. God is with us! The issue is not what they saw. The issue is how they interpreted what they saw. I believe and know that the sin of unbelief in God and His promises in the Word of God is one of the biggest sins in humanity and in life. It is the sin of fear and unbelief.

I have faced this sin so many times in my life. From the age of 16, I was on my own because I believed that Yeshua the Messiah is my Lord and that I was saved by this Jew born in Bethlehem and killed by the Romans, died, was buried, and resurrected after three days in the heart of Jerusalem. And now He, this Jew raised in the Galilee, died and resurrected in Jerusalem, Israel, is sitting waiting for the trumpet of the Angel Gabriel to sound and the sky to open and that Sabra native of the land of Israel to return to Jerusalem and sit on King David's throne to judge the world! Of course, the Christians are not going to be exempt from the judge's gavel and verdict.

This is my only fear and also my greatest confidence that when the books open and the verdict is pronounced, I will hear the word come to my son to join the saints. Some might not have been so religious, but they had faith to do, and not only to sit in church and hear the Sunday sermons and go to McDonald's to eat a cheeseburger. I confess, like Frank Sinatra who sang, "mistakes I have made a few, but then again too few to mention!" I do not fear walking by faith with nothing in my pocket or my hand. I have done it for many years, from the age of 16 until now. The Lord tried me and I worried and feared; but most of the time I jumped head on into the challenges of life and with trusting in God's promises walked on even when my best friends and brothers were thinking that "Joseph must be crazy to do this!"

Yes, the Lord expects from all of us not to sin in the sin of fear and unbelief. Some people fear that if they give to the Lord and his servants financially with faith and love, they might not have enough to buy their next car! My experience was that I may not have the physical means to get the work done, and people think I am a little crazy. But it is exactly these dear brothers and sisters that bring the test of true faith. Not faith in myself but faith in the promises and prophecies of God in his word.

It is important to note and take into account the dangers and risks that we face, but after taking into account the risks and dangers, we must believe that doing good and the right thing, even when it seems impossible, is what faith is all about. Unbelief can produce fear, and fear paralyzed ten of the twelve tourists (Spies) who, after seeing the land and reporting how good it is and fertile and rich in agriculture, came back with two men carrying one bunch of grapes because the grapes were so rich and big.

Faith is not religious; faith is a power like hope and love are powers of life. These leaders of the tribes of Israel crossed the Red Sea, ate manna every day, and saw the victory of the Lord over the enemies of Israel. Saw Moses bring down the Ten Commandments on tablets of stone, and experienced God crossing the Red Sea. They should have known that coming into the land of Canaan was not going to be easy, but God is the same God who opened the Sea, and they passed on dry land. We must trust God and His promises, and Christians must NOW stand with Israel, as the horrible antisemitism that is spreading around the Western world.

What do you Christian's think? That the promises of the Palestinian leadership that they will finish with Sabbath and next take Sunday is a joke? Their faith is a faith that has aspirations and commands to take over the whole world. Right now, Antisemitism is spreading around the world, and Jews are being persecuted and threatened in the streets of European capitals and in American cities like New York's back streets. If Christians do not stand up with their Jewish communities and allow Muslim criminals to beat, torture, and abuse their Jewish neighbors, you will soon see the same happening to Christians also. Please, dear brothers in the world, you cannot love Jesus and hate his brothers. You cannot read the Bible and ignore the people and nation that God chose to be the light of the world. You cannot read the Bible and teach your children about the story of the Exodus and celebrate it, and forget that the people that you are reading about are the family and the relatives of Jesus.

Even if you forget what I have written above, as human beings who are disciples of Jesus, you always ought to stand with truth and righteousness and justice and love for your fellow men and women. You need to have a good report when you stand in front of the big white throne, as the book of Revelation tells us. The books will be open, and your report will be read publicly in front of all. The judge will ask you when you saw the enemies of my people, Israel, the Jews, being persecuted and killed just because they are the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. My people. And you did not do anything to help them.

Just think about this, dear brothers and sisters. Think about who is sitting on the judge's throne. Think about the time that you could have helped, and you, just like Leroy in the sun, walked on by and ignored the challenges of Israel and your Jewish brothers who are being persecuted in the streets of your cities.

I urge you to be modeling your lives like Joshua and Caleb, who gave this report to Moses: "We are well able to overcome it." (Numbers 13:30). These two men became examples of Courage, Faith, Loyalty, and Perseverance! These two men became leaders of Israel and continued to be brave leaders. Even after the death of Moses, they retained their commitment to serve God and Israel with faith and courage and were among the leaders of Israel who never stopped to allow fear and lack of courage and faith to put them down. There is a proverb that I like because it is so true:

"One day of unbelief can become one year of discipline!"

In our Torah portion, we have the Commandment of the Tzitzit! It is a kind of shirt with four tassels on its four corners!

It serves as a reminder and a signal as the word of God states it:

"That ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD…" (Numbers 15:39)

The spies saw with their physical eyes. The tzitzit teaches Israel to see with spiritual eyes. This is not accidental.

The Torah part begins with the ten tourists (spies seeing the land and its inhabitants, wrongly only with their physical eyes), and ends with learning how to see correctly from God's word and His commandments. We learn that it is much more important to have faith in God and trust in His promises.

I would like to bring as a contrast to the ten spies (tourists) that Moses sent to tour / spy the land of Canaan. The story comes from the reading of the historical text in the book of Joshua, chapter two. It also involves the same spies that Moses sent, but only two of them: The spies have to examine the cities and see and learn about their fortifications and defenses. They go to one of the important cities in the Jordan Valley, the city of Jericho. Jericho is actually the oldest city in the world. What makes the difference between a city and a village? A city is an inhabited place where the citizens of that place have a cooperative that has the population work together for the benefit and the general good of the whole community. For example, from Jericho, the citizens cooperated and worked together to build a very high wall around the city; that cooperation was for the good of the general public. The walls of Jericho were built with the cooperation of the citizens of Jericho and were probably among the first such walls in the land. The walls were made from two parallel walls of stone that were connected to each other with spaces that made small apartments for people to live in. The walls were much stronger by having two parallel walls connected with connecting walls and floors. Just like cardboard is stronger because it has these ribs that connect the two layers of the paper and add lateral strength to the cardboard. The Jericho walls were built like this.

In the wall of Jericho lived a woman with an ill reputation. She was hospitable to the good strangers, which was good for her business. Well, the two spies who were interested in exploring the city of Jericho and especially the walls were welcomed by this woman called Rahab to receive some hospitality. She immediately recognized them as Israelites, and she states that the inhabitants of Jericho fear Israel. Rahab must have been professional, but she was not stupid. She tells her new guests,

"Your terror has fallen upon us." (Joshua 2:9)

The two Israelites understand now that their identity is exposed and that Rahab was not stupid. Rahab has an interest in these two Israelite men who have come to get a bed and breakfast from Rahab. She understands that Israel is about to have war with Jericho, and she wants to ensure that these two Israelites are going to be kind to her when they take Jericho. So, she offers to help these two Israelite strangers escape! She has faith that the Israelites will conquer Jericho in spite of the massive walls that protect the city. The Israelite Spies fear that they will be caught, and Rehab sees an opportunity to escape the fall of Jericho, and she calculates that if she helps the two Israelites escape, she can negotiate that they will spare her and her family. She strikes a deal with the two men and lets them out of Jericho through the wall with a red cord. They promised to save her and her family when they conquered Jericho.

She had faith in Israel before she even knew Israel personally. This story is well known, but if people do not know good Biblical Hebrew, they miss one of the most important points of this story. The words of this simple Canaanite woman who lived in the walls of Jericho are probably one of the most important words of faith in the Hebrew Bible. This is what Rahab said to these two Israelite men:

"The LORD your God, He is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." (Joshua 2:11).

Rahab becomes the opposite of the unbelieving generation. Israel saw miracles and doubted. Rahab heard reports and believed. This confession is one of the greatest statements of faith in the Hebrew Bible spoken by a gentile woman of ill repute. The two Israelite spies, like many of the Israelites, feared the giants of the land of Canaan and looked at themselves and Israel as they said, "We are grasshoppers." Rahab states the following: "The LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath." (Joshua 2:11).

The contrast between Rahab's faith and the two Israelite spies is so big and so inspiring. Naturally, one would not expect a woman of Rahab's reputation to have that kind of insight to make such a statement. This is the deal that Rahab makes with the two Israelites.

"Now therefore, I beg you, swear to me by the LORD, since I have shown you kindness, that you also will show kindness to my father's house, and give me a true token, and spare my father, my mother, my brothers, my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death." So, the men answered her, "Our lives for yours, if none of you tell this business of ours. And it shall be, when the LORD has given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with you." Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was on the city wall; she dwelt on the wall." (Joshua 2:12-15 NKJV). The only problem with the English translation and other translations into European languages is that they skip things that they do not understand.

In this case, the translation of the NKJV didn't include a very important statement that the text in Joshua chapter 2 states clearly. Here is an exact word-for-word translation of the Hebrew text of Joshua 2:17-21.

Joshua 2:17 So the men said to her: "We will be blameless of this oath of yours which you have made us swear, 18 unless, when we come into the land, you bind this line of scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and unless you bring your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father's household to your own home. 19 So it shall be that whoever goes outside the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we will be guiltless. And whoever is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head if a hand is laid on him. 20 And if you tell this business of ours, then we will be free from your oath which you made us swear."

Josh. 2:21 Then she said, "According to your words, so be it." Moreover, she sent them away, and they departed. And she bound the scarlet cord in the window.

The translation from the Hebrew Text to English of this last red letter verse from Joshua 2:21. The meaning in of this text is so very important both as a commentary to the events that happened between the Spies and Rahab is profound because that red cord that she used to lower the two Israelites and save their lives and the same scarlet red cord became the insurance that these Israelites are going to come back and keep their word and save her. Her family from the fall of Jericho's walls.

In my opinion, the deal that Rahab makes with the two Israelite spies is that when they conquer Jericho, they will spare her and her family. If the two spies promise her that they will spare her life and her family, she will fix it for them to escape before the Jericho police come to catch them. So, she lowers a crimson cord out of her window and helps the two Spies escape. Here is the text that wins in this Biblical story. The hope of salvation of every gentile to be saved on the judgment day is to do what Rahab did: she saved strangers and made a deal with them to save her and her family. The Scarlet Cord is the sign of hope, the hope of the Gentiles who save and stand and support the seed of Abraham, in this case with Rahab, but I think that saving the hungry people in Africa and in parts of Asia would have the same effect. We can all learn from Rahab and others, especially the righteous Gentiles from World War II. Many thousands of Christians saved Jews during the Nazi Holocaust, like Oscar Schindler, Corrie ten Boom, and her family. So, the crimson cord becomes in the Bible a sign of the human favor that can save and bring God's mercy to anyone willing to endanger and even sacrifice their lives to save others.

 Elisheva’s husband is recovering from a fourth surgery. On September 23 he will have a 5th surgery. Also prayer for healing for Elisheva's left leg and hip joint healing. Also, an interview next week for a new job.

 Manny is asking for prayers for his father’s health that is in decline.

 Update Shirleyann - has had a rough time with water retention and hydration medications. Her next doctors appointment is in July. Keep her in your prayer’s. She had to have her legs wrapped and we are praying for her to improve and not have to go to the hospital. It’s a setback.

 Jordan Issac - a prayer for his treatments to work. Prayer for a mentor to step in and support him in his search for the Lord.

 Pete and Marge. Marge is undergoing tests for breast cancer, and they are in the process of trying to get legal guardianship of their grandkids. They are both in the mid 80s. Please pray for strength and longevity to get these kids past college age.

 Aida Ramirez turned 100 this past Tuesday dec 23. She is in a wheelchair, recovering from a hip surgery, and is dealing with dementia. continue to pray for her and her family (Aida is taking care of it)

 Pat S pain management has improved with some shots. Keep Philip, who is 89 and is caring for Pat, in you prayers.

 Larry is asking for prayers for his grandchildren. I would say most of us that have grandchildren are concerned about the states of the world. The state of intolerance. The temptations out there. Please pray for the holy sprit to guide them in making good choices.

 Juli got a good report on her last scan and she is also in remission. So praise God. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good.

 Bill has been able to change the regiment where the side effects are manageable, and we are thankful for that. We are praying for healing, strength, and comfort for Jill and Bill.

 Barbra and Angie are in Alaska. Barbra has some pains and discomfort related to old age. Please lift them in prayer for strength and reduction in pain.

 Please pray for Danah, my daughter's health issues. I pray for the Lord to give Danah wisdom, peace, and calm in life and her work.

 Aaron Hook, Nancy Hook’s oldest son, needs our prayers for wisdom and healing from past life issues.

 Pray for these important men of God: Rabbi Salt, his family, and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

 pray for Ilana Avramov, who is married to my cousin Nissim and lives in New York City. Ilana is home now. Her health is in a decline. She and Nissim both need our prayers.

 Pray for Steve Mock - His cognitive condition has declined, and we ask for the grace of God and His Healing and strength. Steve and Josie’s son Joseph has received a wonderful and glorious report. After the last bone marrow transplant, the report is that the doctors didn’t find any leukemia in his body! Praise the Lord!
