이번 안식일 2026년 5월 2일의 토라 포션은 “에모르 = 말하여 이르라”(명령형), 레위기 21:1-24:23입니다.

선지서에서 읽는 부분은 에스겔 44:15-31입니다.

신약성경에서 읽는 부분은 마태복음 26:59 -66입니다.

이번 토라 포션의 이름은 사실 레위기 21장의 첫 단어에서 온 것입니다.

저는 항상 신약성경 사도행전 15:19-21에 벌써 유대 전통이 언급되어 있는 이유를 이해해보려 관심을 갖고 있었습니다:

“그러므로 내 의견에는 이방인 중에서 하나님께로 돌아오는 자들을 괴롭게 하지 말고 20 다만 우상의 더러운 것과 음행과 목매어 죽인 것과 피를 멀리하라고 편지하는 것이 옳으니 21 이는 예로부터 각 성에서 모세를 전하는 자가 있어 안식일마다 회당에서 그 글을 읽음이라 하더라”

이 글에서 볼 수 있듯이, 예루살렘 교회의 사도들과 장로들은 이방인들이 메시아(그리스도)의 몸의 일부로 받아들여지기 위해 최소한으로 지켜야 할 사항들과, 마지막으로, 그들이 안식일에 회당에 가서 토라와 선지서의 말씀을 공중 낭독하는 예배에 참석해야 한다는 결정을 내렸습니다. 보시다시피, 예루살렘 공동체의 사도들과 장로들은 이방인 가운데서 들어온 믿음의 형제들이 반드시 지켜야 할 매우 중요한 결정을 내렸습니다. 사도들은 말합니다:

“우리가 이방인 중에서 하나님께로 돌아오는 자들을 괴롭게 하지 말아야 한다.”

이 명령의 마지막 부분은 이방인들이 메시아를 믿기 전에는 이교도였고, 우상 숭배와 음행에 빠졌었으며, 토라에 따라 정결하게 죽인 것이 아닌 것을 먹었다는 것을 나타냅니다. 그리고 이방인들을 위한 마지막 명령은 안식일에 회당에 가서 하나님의 말씀을 공중 낭독하는 것을 들으라는 것입니다.

예루살렘에 있는 예슈아의 제자 공동체의 사도들과 장로들이 이방인 개종자들에게 성도 공동체의 일원이 되기 위해 요구했던 거의 모든 조건들은 사실 창세기 9장 첫 구절들에 근거한 것들입니다. 예루살렘의 사도들과 장로들은 이방인 개종자들에게 이스라엘 백성에게만 주어진 것을 행하라고 명령하지 않았습니다. 그래도 그들이 이방인 개종자들에게 요구했던 조건들은 이미 창세기에서 하나님께서 모든 인류에게 주신 최소한의 계명들입니다.

에스겔 44:15-31 선지서 포션은 예루살렘 성전 여호와의 성소에서 섬기는 제사장들을 위한 규정을 다루고 있는 짧은 말씀입니다. 이 본문에서 제가 특히 인상 깊게 생각하는 것은 하나님께서 제사장들의 위생과 청결을 얼마나 강조하셨는지, 특히 성전에서 백성들 앞에 나아가야 할 때 옷을 갈아입도록 명하신 점입니다. 저는 세계 대부분의 지역에서 믿는 자들이 예배를 드리기 위해 교회에 갈 때 깨끗하고 단정한 옷을 입는 관습이 여전히 지켜지고 있다고 생각합니다. 공동체와 함께 창조주이신 이스라엘의 하나님을 예배하는 것은 결코 가볍게 여길 일이 아닙니다.

제가 지난주 예루살렘 기도 목록에서 언급했듯이, 아론의 아들들조차 술에 취해 주님을 섬기러 왔다가 하나님에 의해 목숨을 잃은 사건들이 있습니다. 특히 모든 것이 자동화, 로봇, 전자, 인공지능으로 바뀌고 인간적인 요소가 날이 갈수록 줄어드는 현대 사회에서조차, 예배 중에 하나님을 뵈올 때는 깊은 경외심과 존경심을 가져야 합니다.

형제자매 여러분, 제가 최근 미국을 방문하여 교회에 갔을 때 매우 불편한 감정을 느꼈다는 사실을 여러분과 나누고 싶습니다. 제가 오랫동안 알고 지냈던 교회들에서 5주 동안 일요일마다 설교 내용이 모두 인간 중심적이었기 때문입니다.

인간적이라는 이 단어는 간단히 말해 “모든 것은 나, 그리고 나 자신에 관한 것이다”라는 뜻입니다. 즉, 나 자신이 내 세상의 중심이며, 나의 행복과 편안한 삶은 하나님께서 나를 위해 이루어 주시고, 나에게 축복받고 편안한 삶을 누리게 해주실 것을 기대한다는 것입니다. 물론 하나님께서는 그분을 따르는 자들과 제자들이 축복받고 행복하며 기쁨으로 가득 차기를 바라십니다! “그러나 예슈아의 제자인 우리는 하나님의 나라와 하나님의 백성, 그리고 불우한 이들을 향한 더 크고 깊은 관심을 가져야 하며, 도움이 필요한 사람들을 돌보고 과부와 고아를 보살피며 선한 사마리아인이 되어야 합니다…”

이번 안식일 신약성경 포션은 마태복음 26:59-66입니다. 제 생각에 이 구절은 신약성경에서 가장 슬프고 가장 심란한 구절 중 하나입니다:

마태복음 26:55

“그 때에 예수께서 무리에게 말씀하시되 너희가 강도를 잡는 것 같이 칼과 몽치를 가지고 나를 잡으러 나왔느냐 내가 날마다 성전에 앉아 가르쳤으되 너희가 나를 잡지 아니하였도다 56 그러나 이렇게 된 것은 다 선지자들의 글을 이루려 함이니라 하시더라 이에 제자들이 다 예수를 버리고 도망하니라 57 예수를 잡은 자들이 그를 끌고 대제사장 가야바에게로 가니 거기 서기관과 장로들이 모여 있더라 58 베드로가 멀찍이 예수를 따라 대제사장의 집 뜰에까지 가서 그 결말을 보려고 안에 들어가 하인들과 함께 앉아 있더라”

제 질문은 우리 모두에게 해당하는 것입니다! 우리 각 사람은 오직 자신에게만 답해야 합니다. 예수님의 제자가 되는 길이 힘들고 위험해질 때, 여러분은 “그분을 버리고 도망할” 것입니까?

오래전 있었던 이야기를 하나 해 드려야 할 것 같습니다.

수년 전, 성경에 나오는 도르가의 고향인 롯(성경에서는 룻다)이라는 마을 출신의 세 제자가 저를 찾아왔습니다. 그들은 시온산에 살고 계시는, 우리 회중의 일원이신 ‘요셉’이라는 예슈아의 정통 유대교 제자를 만나고 싶어 했습니다. 요셉은 연세가 많으셨고, 제2차 세계대전 때 나치 강제 수용소에서 살아남으신 특별한 분이셨습니다. 그래서 이 젊은 제자들은 저와 함께 요셉 형제님이 살고 계시던 시온산으로 갔습니다. 롯에서 온 제자들은 모두 이스라엘 방위군(IDF) 소속 군인으로, 총을 소지하고 군복을 입고 있었습니다. 그들은 연로하신 요셉 형제님과 깊은 대화를 나누고 있었고, 저는 제가 몇 년 동안 현대 유대교를 공부했던 오래된 정통 유대교 교육 기관을 방문하러 내려갔습니다.

제가 아래로 내려가다가 랍비 학교에 거의 다다랐을 때, 그곳 학생 세 명이 와서 저를 공격했습니다. 그들은 저를 심하게 구타하고, 제 양복을 망가뜨리고, 깁스를 해야 할 만큼 여러 번 발로 차고, 피를 흘리며 땅바닥에 쓰러뜨린 채 내버려 두고 가버렸습니다. 그래서 저는 연로하신 요셉의 아파트로 돌아왔고, 모두 군인인 메시아의 유대인 제자들은 제게 무슨 일이 있었는지 물었습니다. 저는 그들에게 예시바(유대교 신학교)의 정통 유대교 학생 세 명이 나를 심하게 구타했다고 말했습니다. 그들은 한순간도 망설이지 않고 총을 들고 정통 유대교 학교로 달려갔습니다. 제가 정신을 차리고 예시바에 도착해서 학교 안으로 들어갔을 때, 메시아의 젊은 제자 중 한 명이 저를 때린 세 명 중 한 명의 목을 벽에 밀어붙이고 있었고, 다른 한 손으로는 큰 총을 들고 저를 때린 놈의 얼굴을 총 개머리판으로 내리치려고 준비하고 있었습니다.

주님과 동행하며 그분 곁에 더욱 가까이 머무르십시오. 특히 약하고 두려울 때, 자신감이 부족하고 누군가의 인도가 필요할 때 더욱 그리하십시오! 지금은 도망치거나 두려워할 때가 아닙니다. 지금이야말로 여러분과 제가 일어서서 유대인의 왕이신 메시아를 기꺼이 믿고 의지해야 할 때입니다! 하나님께서는 십자가에서 예슈아를 버리지 않으셨습니다. 하나님께서는 예슈아와 그의 어머니와 제자들에게 시편 22편을 주셔서, 우리가 우리 메시아 예슈아를 믿고 의지할 때 위대함과 승리가 우리의 미래임을 확신시켜 주셨습니다. 예슈아께서는 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시고 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 사신 분이실 뿐만 아니라, 미래의 유대인의 왕, 온 우주의 왕이십니다!

사도 베드로는 한 번 도망친 적이 있지만, 그 이후의 이야기는 그가 메시아를 대적하는 자들을 두려워하거나 도망치지 않고, 복음을 전하고 제자들을 세웠다는 것입니다. 전승에 따르면 베드로는 바울처럼 로마로 가서 그곳에서 메시아 예슈아의 충직한 제자로 생을 마감했습니다. 우리 모두는 궁극적으로 누구를 믿을지 결정해야 합니다!

우리가 예슈아(예수)를 믿는다면, 두려움이나 부끄러움 없이 그분과 동행하며, 믿고 순종하기 위해 할 수 있는 모든 것을 다할 것입니다. 왜냐하면 다른 길은 없기 때문입니다.

The Jerusalem Prayer List – 2 May, 2026

The Torah reading for this Shabbat, May 2, 2026, is from the portion called: Emor = Speak, (instruct verbally). from Leviticus 21:1-24:23.

The reading from the Prophets is from Ezekiel 44:15-31.

From the New Testament, Matthew 26:59 -66.

The name of this Torah portion is actually from the first word of Leviticus 21.

I have always been interested to understand why Jewish tradition is already mentioned in the New Testament in the book of Acts, chapter 15:19

"Therefore, I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath."

As you can see from this texts that gives us the decision of the Apostles and elders of the church in Jerusalem as to the minimum that the gentiles need to do in order to be accepted as a part of the body of the Messiah (Christ) and the last point is that they need to go to a synagogue on the Sabbath day to hear the Word of God from the Torah and the Prophets read publicly on the Sabbath day synagogue worship. As you can see, the apostles and elders of the community in Jerusalem make a decision that is absolutely crucial for the brothers in the faith that come from among the gentiles to observe. As you can see, the apostle says,

"We should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God."

THIS LAST PART OF THIS COMMAND IS AN INDICATION THAT IN THE PROCESS OF THE GENTILES THAT BEFORE COMING TO FAITH IN THE MESSIAH WERE PAGANS, THEY ENGAGED IN IDOLATRY, AND SEXUAL IMMORALITY, AND FROM EATING THINGS THAT WERE NOT KILLED IN A KOSHER WAY ACCORDING TO THE TORAH AND THE LAST COMMAND FOR THE GENTILES IS TO GO TO THE SYNAGOGUE ON THE SABBATH DAY AND HEAR THE WORD OF GOD READ PUBLICLY.

Almost all these prerequisites that the Apostles and elders of the community of disciples of Yeshua in Jerusalem demand from the gentile converts in order to become members of the community of the saints are things that actually are based on the book of Genesis chapter 9, in the first verses. The apostles and elders of Jerusalem didn't command the new converts from among the gentiles to do something that was given strictly to Israel. Still, the commands that they demanded from the new converts from among the non-Jews are already the minimum commands given by God to all humanity in the book of Genesis.

The reading from the prophets from Ezekiel 44:15-31 is a short reading that deals with the rules for the priests in Jerusalem who serve in the Sanctuary of the Lord in the Temple in Jerusalem. What is one of the more impressive for me in this text is how much emphasis is given by God and commands that deal with hygiene and cleanliness of the priests who have to change clothes between tasks especially when they have to go in the presence of the public in the temple. I think that in most parts of the world, when disciples go to the church to worship, this custom of getting dressed in clean and presentable clothing is still honored. It is not something casual to go with a community and worship the Creator God of Israel.

We have stories that I mentioned in last week's Jerusalem prayer list where some incidents where even the sons of Aaron lost their lives by God because they came to serve the Lord under the influence of wine. Facing God in worship, especially must be done with deep reverence and respect even in these modern times that everything is changed from human to automatic and robotic and electronic and Ai and the human element is diminished from day to day.

I must share with you my brothers and sisters that in the last few times that I visited the USA and went to church, I was very emotionally uncomfortable because in five weeks on five Sundays in churches that I have known for many years, the teaching in the sermons was all anthropocentric.

This long word means simply "it is all about me, and my person" = I "me" am in the center of my universe, and my happiness and easy life is what I expect God to do for me, and make me a happy person with a blessed and easy life. Yes sure! God does want his followers and disciples to be blessed and happy and full of joy! "But, we the human disciples of Yeshua must have a greater and deeper concern for the kingdom of God and the people of God and those who are less fortunate, and we must be concerned for those who are in need and take care of the widows and orphans and be good Samaritans…"

The reading from the New Testament this Shabbat is from Matthew 26:59-66. In my opinion, this text is one of the saddest and most disturbing texts in the New Testament:

Matthew 26:55

"In that hour, Jesus said to the multitudes, 'Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? ' " I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled. Matthew 26:57 And those who had laid hold of Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. 58 But Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest's courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end."

My question is this for all of us! Each one of us has to answer only for himself. When the going gets hard and dangerous to be a disciple of Jesus, will you "forsook Him and run?"

I must tell you a story from many years ago.

Many years ago, when three disciples from the town of Lod, the biblical Lyda where Dorcas was from, came to visit me and wanted to visit a dear old orthodox Jewish disciple of Yeshua who lived on Mount Zion and was a member of our congregation called 'Joseph'! Joseph was old and very special, a survivor of the Nazi death camp during World War II. So these young disciples came with me to Mount Zion, where this Joseph lived. The disciples from Lod were all three soldiers in the IDF and had their guns with them and in uniform. They entered a deep discussion with old brother Joseph, and I went down to visit the old orthodox place of learning, where I spent a couple of years studying modern Judaism.

I went down, and just as I was approaching the Rabbinical school, three students from there came and attacked me, gave me a good beating, damaged my suit, gave me a cast, kicked me several times, and left me on the ground bleeding. So, I returned to old Joseph's apartment and my Jewish disciples of the Messiah, all soldiers, asked me what happened. I told them that three orthodox students from the Yeshiva gave me a 'good' beating. They didn't wait a minute and picked up their guns and ran down to the orthodox school (yeshiva). By the time that I got myself together, and went down to the orthodox school (yeshiva) and entered into the school one of the young disciples of the Messiah was holding one of the three that hurt me by the neck against the wall with one hand and in the other hand had his big gun ready to hit the one of the guys who assaulted me with the back of this gun right in the face.

The other two disciples were there with their guns ready to act. So, I said, "Menachem," put this poor guy down! The Rabbi came after hearing the commotion. I said, "Rabbi, don't worry, my disciples are not going to hurt anyone. They are followers of Yeshua! They just wanted to hold those who hurt me and damaged my suit accountable for what they did to me! I forgive those who did this to me, and I am sure that these three young soldiers just intended to hold them from running away until you come. In the name of Yeshua, I forgive these students. The Rabbi came and took my hand in both of his hands and spoke to all his students and said to them, "Joseph Shulam was a student in this Yeshiva for four years. What he learned here was what the Torah teaches!" Joseph knows that the real punishment for those who foster hate and violence will come to those who seek to do evil to his fellow man!

Do you know what happened after that occasion? The young Rabbi became a friend, and more than one time came to teach in our congregation and our relationship until now is wonderful and friendly and cooperative. Those young Jews, fresh disciples of Yeshua, didn't run and did not hide, but stood up to defend their teacher, and through that occasion also gave a good example to all the students in that yeshiva (rabbinical academy).

Walk with the Lord and stay closer by His side, especially when you are weak and fearful, when you lack confidence in yourself, and need someone to guide you! It is not the time to run or fear, it is that very time for you and me to stand up and be willing to stand and trust the Messiah, the KING of the Jews! God didn't forsake Yeshua on the cross. God gave Yeshua Psalm 22 to encourage him and his mother and the disciples that greatness and victory is our future if we stand trusting Yeshua our Messiah not only as the crucified one who raised from the dead, but as the future King of the Jews and King of the Universe!

The Apostle Peter ran one time, but the continuation of the story is that he never ran away or feared those who opposed the Messiah and preached and planted disciples. Tradition has it that Peter, like Paul, went to Rome and ended his life there as a faithful disciple of Yeshua the Messiah. We all must make up our minds ultimately in whom we trust!

If we trust Yeshua = Jesus, we walk with him without fear or shame and do all that is possible to trust and obey, for there is no other way.

REMEMBER THE LORD'S WORK IN NETIVYAH ISRAEL and in NETIVYAH INTERNATIONAL. They both are two hands of the same body who serve and bless the ministry of Yeshua the Messiah in Israel and internationally.

We start out traveling in June and end in the end of July to minister to our brothers and sisters in Finland first, and from there to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and back home to Israel. The Prayer List

Pray for the following brothers and sisters who need divine grace and the gentle touch of the hand of God for healing and strength.

In Jerusalem:

 Joseph Shulam
Yes I am sick with cancer that is true. The cancer is non-Hoskins Follicular cancer in the pancreas, lungs, stomach. It is a slow growing cancer. There are no treatments with drugs and only medical following with MRI’s and Gastroscopes, nuclear FDG Cat Scans. Joseph is working full time and writing, preaching, traveling internationally and sharing the preaching in Jerusalem sharing the pulpit with our young leader Yehuda who is also doing a fine work for Netivyah. Please pray for me to have God’s healing of my body and protection for my travels in the summer to Finland to participate in a summer seminar for our brothers and sisters in Finland. From Finland to Japan and from Japan to Taiwan and from there to Hong Kong and back home to Israel.

I do need the prayers of our brothers and sisters around the world for the situation of the war in Israël. The enemies of israel are ancient and their enmity is deep with religions they have inherited hate for the Jews from biblical times, they are the descendants of Amalek and Persia is the continuation of Haman from the book of Ester who had designed to destroy the whole Jewish nation. Antisemitism in the world is growing and the disciples of Yeshua need to stand firm to stop the hate of Jews just because they are Jews and stand with and for the Jewish people! Yeshua our Lord is coming back to Jerusalem. Please pray protection also for our Arab brothers and sisters who are disciples of the Messiah who live in Arab lands.

 Please pray for our dear sister, Lea Kurki who came to Israel in 1960s and served as a medical nurse in Hadassah hospital and now she is 100 with a home care taker.

 Judy is 100 years old and has been placed in a special home for her needs.

 Pray for Adam’s father and mother, Barry and Dalia. They have some health problems and challenges.

 Pray for Miriam a dear sister old age dementia.

 Pray for Um Mahmud Abu-Eid, Jimmy Abu-Eid, and all of the family. This is a dear family of old friends that needs healing and wisdom for the children and for their work.

 Please pray for the Romero family, who live deep in the Negev desert. It is hot there, and they are far from our congregation, and we miss them.

In the U.K.:

 Pray for Deborah Isaiah. I pray for the Lord to find Deborah Isaiah and lead her to a blessed life, family, and a solution to her problems.

In Finland:

 Mauno Lemponen health has not changed which is a good thing. they are evaluating moving closer to other family members — prayers for Hilkka, Miika, and Ester who will support this possible change. Please pray as moving is always a big task.

 Keijo and Salme were in a car accident and Salme is recovering from a broken chest bone. Please keep them in your prayers for full recovery.

 Pray for Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami, our dear sisters.

 Pray for Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia, Victor, Aaron Tani, and Hillel.

 Pray for the family of X in Finland who are waiting to see there children and Grandchildren to be in faith in the Lord. its stressful to not have all your children walk in faith.

In Denmark:

 Cynthia M asked that you for praying for her health. She has neutropenia and chronic asthma and I has been undergoing biological treatment with injections every two weeks since 2021 so I ask you to pray for better results and better health conditions as the symptoms, respiratory infections, medications and injections make me very tired every day.

 Mass has lost his wife and has small children. Please pray for Mass a this children as he navigates this major change in his life and the Childrens life. May God bless him with direction.

In Brazil:

 Hannah and her family are in Dubai. They are in need of prayer to make plans on either to leave or stay in dubai since that's where they are currently employed.

 Pray for a dear young man, Paulo, from Curitiba, Brazil, who seriously needs our prayers for sanity and mental health.

 Pray for a dear sister named Claudia Rita Souze Arau. She has cancer and needs God’s healing hands to touch her with healing.

In Asia:

 Pray for Pastor T.J. in Taiwan.

 Pray for Deborah Ruth, a dear sister from China.

 Pray for Sister Yoko Nagumo in Japan.

 Tony Tam, his wife Luisa, and his son Marco need special prayers for their situation.

 We continue to pray for Zhou Wenrian, Abe family, Toru San, Yumi Ohara, and her family: Deborah Ruth, Ayla, Daniel, and their daughter.

 Judith is asking for prayers to her kidney function and painful neuropathy. please pray for her healing. she so desperately needs some relief.

 Chatica was raise by her grandmother who is going through initial stages of dimensia. Pray for and family that are navigating this new phase of care for her.

 Sarah R is asking for prayers.

 June V is asking for prayers for her grandchildren's needs. Its can be worrisome at times and we can all relate to praying over our grandbabies.

 prayers for Elle's husband to find a job, for her PRP injections and her family's needs.

 Cindy - has been fighting spiritual battles at work for many years and is asking for God to open a door for her if it His will for her to move on.

 I ask for prayers for divine intervention in the lives of my sister-in-law “A” and her husband, my brother, “G” and their son. l am begging the Eternal for healing and salvation for this family.

 Shirley J heart surgery is needed since her stents did not work. She is asking for faith to be strengthened.

 Ray H. is having a similar health issue like Marcia Shulam did where id blood pressure drops when we stands up.

 Irina L. is in need of a kidney transplant. her kidney is beginning to fail and is only 26% functioning. Prayer for a suitable donor and wisdom for the doctors and medical team to maintain her kidney functions. (Irina is the twin sister of pastor Serge from Kazakhstan.

 Elisheva’s husband is recovering from a fourth surgery. on September 23 he will have a 5th surgery. Also prayer for healing for Elisheva's left leg and hip joint healing. Also a interview next week for a new job.

 Manny is asking for prayers for his fathers health that is in decline.

 Shirleyann - is in a lot of pain after falling while going to a doctors visit. She was in the hospital for a couple of days checking her brain for bleeding and her spine for damage. Also a change in insurance is not covering all the medical supply needs. We are helping her with those needs she is short 100 pull ups a month. please pray the doctors and insurance can get the coverage back where it was.

 Jordan Issac - prayer for his treatments to work. Prayer for a mentor to step in and support him in his search for the Lord.

 Pete and Marge. Marge is undergoing test for Breast cancer and they are in the process of trying to get legal guardianship of their grandkids. They are both in the mid 80s. Please pray for strength and longevity to get these kids past college age.

 Aida Ramirez turned 100 this past Tuesday dec 23. is in a wheelchair recovering from a hip surgery and is dealing with dementia. continue to pray for her and her family (Aida Gonzalez is taking care of it)

 Pat S pain management has improved with some shots. Keep Philip who is 89 and is caring for Pat in you prayers.

 Larry is asking for prayers for his grandchildren. I would say most of us that have grandchildren are concerned about the states of the world. The state of intolerance. The temptations out there. Please pray for the holy sprit to guide them in making good choices.

 Juli got a good report on her last scan and she is also in remission. So praise God. Give thanks to the Lord for he is Good.

 Bill has been able to change the regiment where the side effects are manageable and we are thankful for that. We are praying for healing and strength and comfort for Jill and Bill.

 Barbra and Angie in Alaska. Barbra has some pains and discomfort related to old age. Please lift them in prayer for strength and reduction in pain.

 Please pray for Danah, my daughter's health issues. I pray for the Lord to give Danah wisdom, peace, and calm in life and her work.

 Aaron Hook, Nancy Hook’s oldest son, needs our prayers for wisdom and healing from past life issues.

 Pray for these important men of God: Rabbi Salt, his family, and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

 pray for Ilana Avramov, who is married to my cousin Nissim and lives in New York City. Ilana is home now. her health is in a decline like Marcia. She and Nissim both need our prayers.

 Pray for Steve Mock - His cognitive condition has declined, and we ask for the grace of God and His Healing and strength. Steve and Josie’s son Joseph has received a wonderful and glorious report. After the last bone marrow transplant, the report is that the doctors didn’t find any leukemia in his body! Praise the Lord!
