번역: 김미애 아버지의 사랑 전 세계적으로 80억 명이 넘는 사람들이 있습니다. 이들 각 사람은 독특하고 특별합니다. 하나님께서는 이들 각 사람을 개인적으로 아십니다. 우리 모두를 연결시키는 한 가지가 있는데요, 사랑이 필요하다는 것입니다. 고린도전서 13장에 사랑이란 무엇인가에 대한 정의가 있고 사람으로서 우리가 그 사랑 안에서 어떻게 행할 것으로 기대되는지가 있습니다. 슬프게도, 요즈음 우리는 참된 의미의 사랑을 조작하는 일이 증가하는 것을 봅니다. 고린도전서 13장의 순전하고 이기적이지 않고 무조건적인 사랑보다는 이기심과 통제로 정의되는 사랑이 있습니다. 하나님으로부터 비롯된 순전한 사랑은 모든 사람에게 열려 있습니다. 예슈아께서 세례 받으실 때, 하늘로부터 한 목소리가 나서 “이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자라”고 말씀하셨습니다. (마태복음 3:17) 제가 이것을 읽을 때 저는 예슈아를 향한 하나님의 순전한 사랑을 볼 수 있습니다. 이것은 예슈아께서 어떤 것도 하기도 전에 하신 말씀이었으니까요. 그분이 아직 그 어떤 기적을 행하거나, 수많은 무리를 먹이거나, 문둥병자를 고치거나, 죽은 자를 다시 살리거나, 귀신을 내쫓거나, 말씀을 전하거나, 십자가에 달리기도 전이었습니다. 그런데도 하나님께서는 기뻐하셨습니다! 우리가 우리를 향한 아버지의 사랑이 무조건적이라는 것을 아는 것은 아주 중요합니다. 이것은 우리가 뭘 하거나 하지 않는 것에 달린 것이 아닙니다. 그분께서는 사랑이십니다, 하나님은 사랑이시라. (요한일서 4:16) 예슈아께서 십자가에 달리시기 전 그분의 기도는 그분께서 우리를 향해 가졌고 하나님께서 그분을 향해 가졌던 그 사랑을 제자들도 서로를 향해 가지게 되는 것을 세상이 알게 되는 것, 그리고 오늘날에도 그분의 제자들이 예슈아와 아버지께서 하나이심과 같이 하나가 되는 것이었습니다. (요한복음 17:18-23) 우리 예슈아를 믿는 자들, 오늘날 그분의 제자들은 이와 똑같은 사랑의 정의에 따라 행하도록 부름 받았습니다. 이 때 우리는 시절이 좋든 나쁘든 하나님의 아들/자녀라는 것, 우리 아버지께서 언제나 우리를 받아주시고 보호해주신다는 것, 우리가 이 사랑을 받기 위해 하거나 하지 않거나 할 수 있는 것이 아무 것도 없다는 것을 알아야 합니다. 이 사랑은 무조건적입니다. 그분께서는 언제나 우리를 위하십니다. 다윗왕은 “내 부모는 나를 버렸으나 여호와는 나를 영접하시리이다”라고 썼습니다. (시편 27:10) 다윗의 심령은 언제나 아버지의 사랑을 구하여 아빠에게 부르짖었는데요, 하나님의 사랑보다 더 큰 사랑이 없기 때문입니다. 우리가 혼돈의 세계에 아버지의 사랑을 비춰줄 수 있는 것은 우리가 하나님의 사랑으로 충만할 때뿐입니다. 저는 전 세계 80억 명의 사람들이 메시아 예슈아를 통해 하나님의 사랑을 알게 되기를 기도합니다. ======================================================= The Father's Love There are over eight billion people in the world; each of them unique and special. Each one of them is known personally by God. There is one thing that connects us all; the need for love. In 1 Corinthians 13, we have a definition of what love is and how we as human beings are expected to walk in that love. Sadly, in these days, we see an increase in the manipulation of the true meaning of love. Rather than the pure, unselfish and unconditional love in 1 Corinthians 13, there is a love defined by selfishness and control. The pure love that comes from God is available to all of mankind. When Yeshua was baptized, a voice came from Heaven saying, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased". (Matthew 3:17) When I read this I can see the pure love of God for Yeshua, which was expressed even before Yeshua did anything. He had not yet done any miracles, fed the multitude, healed a leper, resurrected from the dead, cast out demons, given messages or gone to the cross. Yet, God was well pleased! It is very important for us to understand that the Father's love for us is unconditional. It does not depend on what we do or don't do. He is love, God IS love. (1 John 3:16) Yeshua's prayer before going to the cross was that the world would know that the same love He has for us and God for Him, the disciples would have for them as well. That, even today His followers would be one as Yeshua and the Father are one. (John17: 18-23) We are called as Believer's in Yeshua - His disciples today, to walk in this same definition of love, where we know that we are a son / child of God whether in good or bad times. That our Father always accepts and protects us and that there is nothing we can or cannot do to receive this love. It is unconditional, He is always there for us. King David wrote, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. (Psalm 27:10) David's soul was always crying out to Abba for His love because there is no greater love than the love of God. It is only when we are filled with the love of God that we can reflect the Father's love to a world of chaos. I pray that the eight billion people in the world will come to know the love of the Father through Yeshua the Messiah. |
