거기는 날 수가 많지 못하여 죽는 어린이와 수한이 차지 못한 노인이 다시는 없을 것이라 곧 백 세에 죽는 자를 젊은이라 하겠고 백 세가 못되어 죽는 자는 저주 받은 자이리라 그들이 가옥을 건축하고 그 안에 살겠고 포도나무를 심고 열매를 먹을 것이며 그들이 건축한 데에 타인이 살지 아니할 것이며 그들이 심은 것을 타인이 먹지 아니하리니 이는 내 백성의 수한이 나무의 수한과 같겠고
내가 택한 자가 그 손으로 일한 것을 길이 누릴 것이며 그들의 수고가 헛되지 않겠고 그들이 생산한 것이 재난을 당하지 아니하리니 그들은 여호와의 복된 자의 자손이요 그들의 후손도 그들과 같을 것임이라
그들이 부르기 전에 내가 응답하겠고 그들이 말을 마치기 전에 내가 들을 것이며 이리와 어린 양이 함께 먹을 것이며 사자가 소처럼 짚을 먹을 것이며
뱀은 흙을 양식으로 삼을 것이니 나의 성산에서는 해함도 없겠고 상함도 없으리라 여호와께서 말씀하시니라 - 이사야 65:17-25 예루살렘을 거닐던 선지자들은 여러 나라와 여러 왕의 통치 시에 예루살렘을 걸었습니다. 그들의 예언 대부분은 왕들의 죄에 대해 왕들을 꾸짖는 것이었습니다. 왕의 죄의 결과로 나라 역시 하나님의 길에서 돌아섰습니다. 선지자들은 왕이 회개하고 하나님의 길로 돌아오면 복 받을 것이라고 경고했습니다. 왕이 그 경고에 마음이 열려 있어 그 경고를 받아들였을 때는 축복을 받았지만, 마음이 닫혀있을 때에는 심판이 왔습니다. 이것은 왕과 그의 가족과 그의 왕정과 그 나라의 모든 사람들에게도 마찬가지였습니다. 성경 시대 나라들은 어땠고 그 나라들은 어떻게 작동했는지에 대해 조명해 보겠습니다. 왕은 왕좌에 앉아 있고, 그 주위에 장관들과 자문관들과 경호원들과 판관들과 모사들과 성전의 제사장들 등이 있었습니다. 그래서 한 선지자가 왕 앞에 서면, 그는 각자 자기의 견해와 목적을 가진 이 모든 권세와 지식이 있는 자들 앞에 서게 되는 것입니다. 왕은 그의 주위에 있는 이들의 통제에 영향을 받으며, 육의 눈으로 봅니다. 그래서 겉보기에 교육 받은 것 같지 않고 어떤 지위나 직함이 없는 것 같은 수수한 모습을 한 어떤 사람이 왕 앞에 설 때, 자연스런 반응은 그 사람이 말해야 하는 것을 말하기도 전에 각하시키는 것이었을 것입니다. 그래서 마태복음 23:37에서 예슈아께서는 예루살렘에 대해 선지자들과 하나님으로부터 네게 파송된 자들을 죽이는 예루살렘이라고 말합니다. 원수의 손에 의해 통제 받는 이 세상은 하나님의 뜻을 들으려 하지도 않고 들을 수도 없습니다. 결국 위기가 닥치면 모든 것이 무너지는데, 왕과 그의 자문관들이 자신의 인간적인 시각으로 보고 이해하는 것에 따른 자기 자신의 지식과 지혜를 믿기 때문입니다. 그들이 문제를 보면서 그것을 해결하려는 시도는 나라의 몰락과 함께 끝납니다. 그러나 처음부터 옳았던 선지자는 옥에 갇혔다가 간혹 석방되거나 죽임을 당합니다. 위기가 지나간 후 다른 왕과 나라가 일어나고 그런 사이클이 다시 시작됩니다. 그래서 이곳 이스라엘에서 저희가 왜 지금의 위기를 맞고 있는지 놀랍지도 않습니다. 조만간 저희는 짧은 기간 동안 네 번째인 선거를 합니다. 그런데 이스라엘 정부 중 그 어느 정부도 예슈아를 존중하거나 영광을 돌린 적이 없습니다. 오늘날 작동하고 있는 정부는 하늘의 정부가 아니며 일시적인 정부입니다. 만왕의 왕께서 예루살렘에서 다스리시는, 인류의 마음이 변화되는, 혹은 그분께 돌아서는 하늘나라가 임하기 전까지는, 과거에 있던 나라들처럼 그 어떤 정부도 굳게 서지 못할 것입니다. 그 때는 유대인과 이방인이 하나가 되고 이리와 양이 평화로운 그런 때가 될 것입니다. 하늘의 예루살렘은 멀지 않았습니다. 우리 각 사람은 옛날 선지자들처럼 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 각자의 은사 대로 역할을 할 것입니다. 지금은 신부가 일어날 때입니다. 우리 주님께서 곧 오실 것이니까요. ------------------------------------------------------------ The Heavenly Kingdom As followers of Yeshua, looking at the world of today, what do we see? What do our spiritual eyes reveal to us? “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, And joy in My people; The voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, Nor the voice of crying.
“No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build and another inhabit; They shall not plant and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people,
And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them.
“It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox,
And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the Lord. - Isaiah 65:17-25 The prophets who walked in Jerusalem did so during the reign of many Kings and Kingdoms. Most of their prophecies were to admonish the Kings for their iniquities. As a result of the King’s iniquities, the nation also turned from God’s ways. The prophets warned that if the King would repent and return to God’s ways, then he would be blessed. When the King received the warning, if his heart was open to accept it, he would receive a blessing but if his heart was closed, judgement would come. This was true for the King, his family, the Royal court and all of the Kingdom. Let me shed some light as to what the Kingdoms of biblical time looked like and how they operated. The King sits on his throne, around him are ministers, counselors, guards, judges, wise men, priests from the temple and so on. Therefore, when a prophet stood in front of the King, he stood in front of all these men of authority and knowledge each with their own opinions and objectives. The King sees with physical eyes, influenced by the control of those around him. So, when a man of simple appearance, seemingly uneducated and holding no position or title stands before him, the natural response might be to dismiss what he has to say even before he says anything. That’s why in Matthew 23:37 Yeshua speaks of Jerusalem who kills the prophets and people sent to her by God. This world, controlled by the hand of the enemy, is not willing or capable of hearing God’s Will. In the end when crisis comes, everything falls apart because the King and his advisors put their trust in their own knowledge and wisdom according to what they see and understand with their human eyes. Their attempt to solve the problem as they saw it ended with the fall of the kingdom. But the prophet who was right from the beginning was jailed and sometimes released or killed. After the crisis yet another King and Kingdom arose, and the cycle began again. So, it’s no wonder why today we find ourselves facing our current crisis here in Israel. Soon we will have our fourth election within a short period of time, yet none of the governments in Israel have honored or given glory to Yeshua. The government which operates today is not the heavenly government but a temporary one. Like the kingdoms in the past no government will stand until the Heavenly Kingdom which is ruled by the King of Kings reigns in Jerusalem; where the hearts of mankind will be changed or turned to Him. It will be a season when Jews and Gentiles will be one and the wolf and the lamb will be at peace. The heavenly Jerusalem is not far away. Each one of us, like the prophets of old, must operate in the individual gifts which God has given us. It is the time for the bride to rise up, for our Lord is coming soon.
