2024년 3월 11일 일요일에 저는 한 젊은 설교가가 오늘날의 문화와 교회의 근시안적 태도에 대해 설교한 훌륭한 메시지를 들었습니다!

저희는 또한 미국/인터내셔널 네티비야 이사들과 줌으로 이사회를 했습니다. 왜 제 아들 배리와 제가 미국 네티비야의 이름을 인터내셔널 네티비야로 바꾸기로 결정했는가하는 질문이 있었습니다. 저희가 인터내셔널 네티비야로 이름을 바꾸기로 결정하기 전에 이사회를 하는 것이 훨씬 더 현명했을 것입니다. 그렇지만, 하나님의 은혜와 좋고 오래되고 사랑하는 관계 덕분에 모든 것이 잘 풀렸습니다.

2023년 10월 7일 이후 온 이스라엘은 “지금 여기”에 대해 생각하고 있습니다. 이는 위로부터 아래까지, 수상부터 쓰레기 수거인에 이르기까지 모두 그러합니다. (죄송합니다, 제가 틀렸습니다! 최소한 저희가 사는 곳의 쓰레기 수거인들은 99%가 팔레스타인 아랍인들입니다. 그들은 오히려 가자지구와 북쪽 헤즈볼라와의 전쟁 이후 그들에게 어떤 미래가 있을까를 생각하는 것 같습니다!)

다음은 우리 모두가 기억해야 할 몇 가지 필수적인 것들입니다! 성경은 보통의 역사책이 아닙니다. 이것은 지금 여기만을 위한 메시지를 담은 책이 아닙니다! 이미 맨 처음 장들에 인류의 미래를 말하는 예언들이 있습니다.

인류, “저와 여러분”의 미래는 “나와 당신”이라는 두 축 위에 있는 우리의 관계에 근거하고 있습니다! 저는 의도적으로 “나와 너”라는 단순한 영어 형식을 사용하지 않았습니다! 그 이유는 “나와 당신”이라는 제목의 책에 있습니다. 이 책이 제게 중요한 이유는 하나님의 위대한 사람인 마르틴 부버가 이 책을 썼기 때문입니다! 저는 이 책을 몇 번 읽고서야 하늘과 “땅/지구”을 지으신 전능하신 창조주와 질서 있고 지속적인 관계를 갖는 것의 중요성을 이해하게 되었습니다.

저는 앞의 문장에서 “땅/지구”는 대문자로 쓰고 하늘은 대문자로 쓰지 않았습니다. 제가 왜 하늘은 대문자로 쓰지 않았느냐고요? 왜냐하면 지금 저는 하늘에 있지 않기 때문입니다. 저는 여기 이 땅/지구에 있습니다. 매우 근시안적인 땅/지구, 매우 이기적인 땅/지구, 매우 도덕 관념이 없는 땅/지구에 말입니다. 하늘은 기다릴 수 있습니다! 저는 정말로 하늘이 기다릴 것을 바라는데요, 지난 주에 제 몸 네 곳, 췌장, 폐, 비장, 위에 암이 있는 것이 발견되었기 때문입니다. 네, 그래서 저는 하늘이 기다릴 수 있기를 바라고, 여러분이 이 메시지를 읽으실 때 여러분이 저와 제 아내 마르시아의 건강을 위해 특별 기도를 하시기를 바랍니다. 그러나 이것은 모두 ‘지금’이라는 것입니다. 그리고 지금, 긴급한 것, 압박이 되는 것, 여러분을 재촉하고 압박하여 당장 일을 해놓게 만드는 모든 사람들을 다루는 것은 언제나 더 쉽습니다!

여러분이 성경을 하나의 책으로 보시면, 이 책이 얼마나 많이 ‘지금’을 다루고 있으며 얼마나 예언적이며 “그때”는 얼마나 없는지 통계를 내보십시오! 유대인과 이스라엘, 그 땅과 그 백성과 연관된 것들을 다루는 것은 얼마나 많습니까? 여러분은 단순하지만 거의 완전히 무시되고 있는 진실을 발견할 것입니다. 우리가 성경을 분량으로 보자면 율법서는 20~25%입니다. 예언서는 30~35%입니다. 우리가 역사서에서 예언서를 좀 더 가져온다면 우리는 성경의 거의 40%가 우리의 미래를 다루고 있다는 결론에 이릅니다.

[2] 대통령 선거 몇 주 전 대통령 후보로 두각을 나타낸 후보조차 2017년 버지니아주 샬로츠빌에서 행진했던 네오 나치같은 그룹을 비난하고 규탄하지 못했습니다. 이런 행동은 아마 어떤 역할을 했을 것입니다. 래퍼에서 디자이너가 된 문제 많은 아프리카계 미국인 칸예 웨스트 같은 인물들의 영향력이 그랬던 것처럼 말입니다. 그는 누가 마틴 루터 킹과 함께 저 유명한 1965년 알라배마 셀마 행진의 앞줄에 서서 싸웠었는지를 잊었습니다. 랍비 아브라함 죠슈아 헤셀과 랍비 모리스 아이젠드라트, 비트 세제르, 밥 딜런, 그리고 덜 유명하지만 중요한 유대인 인사들이었다는 것을 말입니다. 마틴 루터 킹 박사의 싸움은 흑인 형제들에 대한 인종적 차별에 대항한 것만은 아니었습니다. 그것은 미국과 세계에서 반-유대주의를 포함하여 인종차별주의와 인종적 차별의 종식을 위한 것이었습니다. 이들은 그저 자유와 평등을 위해 나란히 서서 싸운 유명한 유대인 지도자 몇 명일 뿐입니다.

친애하는 형제자매님들, 오늘날의 미디어는 우리 주머니와 손과 집과 사무실과 모든 곳에 있습니다. 반-유대주의라는 끔찍한 바이러스는 그냥 손가락을 누르는 것만으로도 들불처럼 번집니다. 정부가 이에 대해 무기력한 이유는 정치인들이 자기 유권자와 결탁했기 때문이고, 목사들이 이에 대해 아무 것도 말하기 두려워하는 이유는 그들 회중 지체 중 몇은 (1972년의 테네시주 머프리스보로에 있는 교회처럼) 클랜(케이케이케이) 회원이기 때문입니다.

2018년에 피츠버그에 있는 생명의 나무 회당에서는 그냥 유대인이라는 이유만으로 유대인들에게 격노하는 미혼 총격자에 의해 예배드리러 온 사람 중 11명이 살해되었습니다. 그가 그들 중 그 누구도 개인적으로 알거나 원한이 있어서가 아니라, 그의 평생에 교회에 가서 가장 간단한 이 성경적 메시지를 한 번도 들어본 적이 없었기 때문입니다:

저는 2024년 3월 11일자 타임지의 이 기사가 저로 하여금 반-유대주의에 대해 생각하게 만들었음을 실토합니다.

바로에서부터 아말렉과 바벨론과 페르시아(오늘날의 이란)와 그리스와 로마와 가톨릭 교회와 독일과 유럽의 나치와 현재 이란(페르시아)과 하마스에 이르기까지 수천 년 동안 존재하는 인류의 이 슈퍼 바이러스에 대항하여 누가 싸워야 할까요?

무엇보다 이 질문에 대한 대답은 분별 있고 도덕적인 사람이라면 어떤 인종이나 민족이나 동료 사람을 대적하여 차별하고 멸절하고 싶어 하는 어떤 사람이나 민족에 대항하여 싸워야 한다는 것입니다. 역사는 야만과 인종차별주의와 차별이 존재하도록 허용하면 그것이 처음의 야만의 대상 이상의 마치 증오와 파괴의 바이러스, 전염병, 쓰나미와 같이 된다는 것을 보여주었습니다.

예수님께서 이 땅으로 다시 오셔서 다스리시게 되면 어떤 일이 일어날까요? 그분의 약속과 이사야, 스가랴, 말라기, 예수님의 사도들의 약속에 따르면, 우리에게는 완전한 묘사가 있습니다. 특히 요한계시록에 생생한 묘사가 있습니다.

예수(히브리어로 예슈아)의 제자들의 큰 무리가 모두 흰옷을 입고 하나님의 보좌와, 머리에 왕관을 쓰시고 보좌에 앉으신 주의 깊고 할례받은 유대인 예슈아(헬라어로 예수)의 주위에 모일 것입니다. [3]

그 왕관으로 인해 흘린 피는 오래전에 말랐고 닦였지만, 그 기억은 그분의 머리에 깊이 박혀 있습니다. 이 큰 무리는 “나 같은 죄인 살리신” 찬송가가 아니라, 제가 예루살렘에 있는 초등학교 5학년 때부터 암송하며 매우 사랑하는 “게울림”이라는 노래를 부를 것입니다. (히브리어로 “게울림”은 이사야 51장에서 따온 것으로, “구속받은 자들”이라는 뜻입니다.)

이렇게 모인 큰 무리는 모세의 노래와 어린양의 노래를 부를 것입니다. 이 때 반-유대주의자들과 인종차별주의자들은 어디에 있을까요?

그들이 흰옷을 입고 이 웅장한 무리 중에 있다면, 그들이 모세의 노래를 부를까요? 보좌 주위의 이 웅장한 무리는 우리 주께서 영원히 다스리시리라는 노래를 부를까요? 출애굽기 15장 말씀입니다:

“여호와여 주의 오른손이 권능으로 영광을 나타내시니이다 여호와여 주의 오른손이 원수를 부수시니이다 주께서 주의 큰 위엄으로 주를 거스르는 자를 엎으시니이다 주께서 진노를 발하시니 그 진노가 그들을 지푸라기 같이 사르니이다 주의 콧김에 물이 쌓이되 파도가 언덕 같이 일어서고 큰 물이 바다 가운데 엉기니이다 원수가 말하기를 내가 뒤쫓아 따라잡아 탈취물을 나누리라, 내가 그들로 말미암아 내 욕망을 채우리라, 내가 내 칼을 빼리니 내 손이 그들을 멸하리라 하였으나 주께서 바람을 일으키시매 바다가 그들을 덮으니 그들이 거센 물에 납 같이 잠겼나이다 여호와여 신 중에 주와 같은 자가 누구니이까 주와 같이 거룩함으로 영광스러우며 찬송할 만한 위엄이 있으며 기이한 일을 행하는 자가 누구니이까 주께서 오른손을 드신즉 땅이 그들을 삼켰나이다 주의 인자하심으로 주께서 구속하신 백성을 인도하시되 주의 힘으로 그들을 주의 거룩한 처소에 들어가게 하시나이다 여러 나라가 듣고 떨며 블레셋 주민이 두려움에 잡히며 에돔 두령들이 놀라고 모압 영웅이 떨림에 잡히며 가나안 주민이 다 낙담하나이다 놀람과 두려움이 그들에게 임하매 주의 팔이 크므로 그들이 돌 같이 침묵하였사오니 여호와여 주의 백성이 통과하기까지 곧 주께서 사신 백성이 통과하기까지였나이다 주께서 백성을 인도하사 그들을 주의 기업의 산에 심으시리이다 여호와여 이는 주의 처소를 삼으시려고 예비하신 것이라 주여 이것이 주의 손으로 세우신 성소로소이다 여호와께서 영원무궁 하도록 다스리시도다 하였더라 바로의 말과 병거와 마병이 함께 바다에 들어가매 여호와께서 바닷물을 그들 위에 되돌려 흐르게 하셨으나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데서 마른 땅으로 지나간지라” (출애굽기 15:6-19)

친애하는 형제님들, 이 모세의 노래 중 몇 가지 특징을 주목해 보시기 바랍니다: 이스라엘은 그 원수들, 애굽과 블레셋을 이길 것입니다. (오늘날 블레셋은 가자지구와 유대와 사마리아 지역을 포함하고 있습니다.)

저는 이 일이 어떻게 일어날지는 모르지만, 하나님의 모든 약속이 이루어질 것과 많은 약속이 이미 이루어졌고 여러분이 지금 이 기도 목록을 읽는 동안에도 이루어지고 있다는 것은 압니다! 제가 분명히 아는 한 가지가 있습니다! 이 세상의 창조주 하나님께는 한 핏줄에서 나온 한 백성이 있으시며, 아랍인과 유대인, 흑인과 백인, 황색인, 적색인, 심지어 무지갯빛 색깔인을 포함하여 모두 그분의 자녀입니다. 하나님께서는 그분의 모든 길에 언제나 공평하고 의로우십니다. 이런 약속들을 이루실 때 일어날 일이 무엇이든 의와 공평 가운데 일어날 것이며, 하나님의 사랑과 모든 열방에 은혜와 하나 됨과 평화를 가져오신 예슈아(예수님)의 희생 가운데 일어날 것입니다. 저는 이것을 묘사한 사도 요한조차 이러한 사건들이 언제 어떻게 일어날지 알았는지 여부는 모릅니다. 그러나 저는 이 땅/지구와 그 위와 그 안의 모든 것이 이스라엘의 전능자에 의해 창조되었음을 확신하는 것처럼, 요한의 이 말이 사실이고, 그 일들이 일어날 것을 확신합니다. 그와 똑같이 저는 새 하늘과 새 땅이 있게 될 것도 확신합니다. 다음은 생생한 성경적 사실입니다. 하나님께서는 인간성 안에 반역적 기질이 발달하는 것을 기뻐하지 않으셨습니다. 노아의 홍수 이후 인류는 두려움으로 인해 연합된 데에서 전체주의적이며 조직적이며 끔직한 악으로, 그렇지만 영리한 일단의 사람들로 변했습니다. 홍수를 유발한 하나님에 대한 두려움은 이 사람들의 의식에 깊이 새겨져서 그로 인해 그들은 연합하게 되었고, 말하자면, 그들로 하여금 이 세상과 사람을 포함하여 이 세상 안의 모든 것을 지으신 하나님으로부터 방어책을 갖도록 만들었습니다.

이 연합은 연합하여 하늘에까지 닿을 탑을 쌓음으로써 스스로를 하나님으로부터 방어하려는 계획을 만들어냈습니다. 저는 홍수 이후 세대의 꿈이 절멸의 두려움에서 해방되는 것, 하나님께 “아니오! 우리는 당신에게 순종할 필요가 없고 우리는 언제 어디서든 생각하는 어떤 것이든 할 수 있는 자유로운 도덕적 주체입니다.” 말하는 것이라는 것을 깨닫습니다. 바벨탑을 쌓은 이 사건은 엉성하게 쓴 신화 같습니다. 아직도 바벨론 지구라트와 다른 유적지에는 역사적 지리적 정황증거가 있습니다.

전 세계에 계시는 친애하는 형제자매님들! 아무도 반-유대주의의 악에 저항할 수 없는 이유는 지금 이것이 이스라엘과 전 세계 유대인에 대항하여 번지고 있기 때문입니다. 이것은 지식과 의와 진보의 요새여야 하는 북ㆍ남미와 서유럽을 포함하여 모든 서구권의 대학교와 학계 안에서 번지고 있습니다.

[1] 제가 여기에서 독일어를 사용하는 이유는 제가 제 마음과 생각으로 독일의 중산층 마을 중 한 곳에서 상당한 생활 수준으로 살고 있는 중상급의 중산층 유대인 가족이 이미 유럽에 만연한 증오와 차별의 폭풍을 보면서도 제가 상상한 대로 생각하고 말하고 있는 모습을 상상하기 위해서입니다.

[2] 제가 적잖은 이스라엘 사람들이 왜 이런 일이 일어났는지 타당한 이유를 알고 있다고 말씀드릴 수는 있지만, 이기심으로 싸움을 싸우면서 “그때”를 간과하고 지금의 문제를 다루고 있는 고위층 이스라엘 군 지도부와 저희 의회의 지도자들의 태도는 아주 이기적이고 파괴적이며 경멸적인 태도입니다. 아무도 곧 무슨 일이 닥칠지 볼 수 있는 안경을 쓰지는 않았습니다. 여기에는 아주 뛰어난 저희 모사드도 포함됩니다. 이사야 선지자가 말한 것처럼 말입니다: “발바닥에서 머리까지 성한 곳이 없이 상한 것과 터진 것과 새로 맞은 흔적뿐이거늘 그것을 짜며 싸매며 기름으로 부드럽게 함을 받지 못하였도다 너희의 땅은 황폐하였고 너희의 성읍들은 불에 탔고 너희의 토지는 너희 목전에서 이방인에게 삼켜졌으며 이방인에게 파괴됨 같이 황폐하였고 딸 시온은 포도원의 망대 같이, 참외밭의 원두막 같이, 에워 싸인 성읍 같이 겨우 남았도다” (이사야 1:6-8)

There is always the shortsightedness and the visionary for the prophetic!
There is always the here and there!
There is always the urgent and the wise!
There is always the I and thou!

Because of special circumstances, as you will understand from reading this prayer list, I will not be dealing with the Torah and Prophets portion this week! Yudah Bachana is doing this very well, and this week, you will enjoy his teaching. The Lord willing, I will return to do the Torah and Prophets' portions in the future.

As more or less normal human beings, we are usually shortsighted. We almost always deal with what is urgent now and must remember to prepare for the shadow peeking around the corner!

European Jews, for the most part, especially in Germany and Western Europe, we're a happy bunch! They had beautiful synagogues and businesses in the center of the German cities. They were concerned with where to go for vacation during Easter Holidays:

In general, the European population didn't see the future and where it was leading, and neither did the government nor the politicians in the United States! Why not? The reason is horrible nearsightedness!

Sunday, March 11, 2024, I heard a wonderful message from a young preacher about the nearsightedness of today's culture and the church!

We also had a board meeting on Zoom with the board members of Netivyah USA // International. The question was why Barry, my son, and I decided to change the name from Netivyah USA to Netivyah International. It would have been much wiser on our part to have had the board meeting before we decided to change the name to Netivyah International. But, with God's grace and a good, long, loving relationship, all went well.

It went well with the board members, and I believe also with our dear and loving brother in leadership in Israel.

It is of extreme importance for our partner Netivyah Bible Instruction Ministry in Israel to concentrate on what is awaiting all of Israel's societies after this horrible and cruel and dangerous war in Gaza and the Lebanese border in the north against the harassment of shooting of many dozens of deadly rockets against peaceful civilian and some military installations.

All Israel has been thinking about since October 7, 2023, is the "here and now!" is true from the top down, from the Prime Minister to the garbage collectors. (Sorry, I am wrong! Garbage collectors, at least where we live, are 99% Palestinian Arabs. They are more likely thinking about what kind of future they will have after the war in Gaza and with the Hezbollah in the north! )

Here are some essential things for all of us to remember! The Bible is not a regular history book. It is not a book with a message for only the here and now! Already in the very first chapters, there are prophecies dealing with humanity's future.

The future of humanity, of the "me and you," is based on our relationship on a double axis, the "I and Thou!" On purpose, I am not using the simple English form, "Me and you!" The reason is in a book titled "I and Thou!" The book is important to me because Martin Buber, a great man of God, wrote it! I read the book several times before grasping the importance of having an orderly and constant relationship with the Almighty Creator of the heavens and the Earth.

I capitalized the word "Earth" in the previous sentence but didn't capitalize heaven. Why did I not capitalize the word, Heaven? Because now I am not in Heaven; I am down here on this earth, the very shortsighted earth, the very selfish earth, the very amoral earth. Heaven can wait! I do hope it does wait because last week, it was discovered that I have four cancers in my body: pancreatic, lung, spleen, and stomach. So, yes, I hope heaven can wait, and I hope that when you read this message, you will say a special prayer for me and Marcia, my wife's health. But this is all the now, and it is always easier to deal with the now, the urgent and the pressing, and all those who push you and pressure you to get things done right now!

When you look at the Bible as a book, do some statistics about how much it deals with the now and how much is prophetic and dearth with the "Then!" How much is dealing with the things connected to the Jews and Israel, the land and the people? You find out a simple and almost totally ignored truth. If we look at the Bible by volume, legal literature is between 20 – 25%. Prophetic literature is 30-35%. If we glean from the historical literature the prophetic, we end with nearly 40% of the Bible dealing with our future.

One last general comment before we get into the reason why Netivyah USA decided to change the name from Netivyah USA to Netivyah International and why it is so crucial for you dear brothers and sisters around the whole world to stand with Netivyah both in the local work in Israel, especially Jerusalem, and also stand in support of Netivyah International. We are one in the vision and the present work of feeding the poor and blessing the young disciples of Yeshua in Israel by helping many. However, we need more to go to universities and study and improve and grow both spiritually and professionally. This aspect of Netivyah Israel's work is looking toward the community's future and the message that our young generation will have for the future of Israel and the disciples of Yeshua in the land of Israel.

On the other hand, there is Netivyah International. What prompted me to sit in the lobby of the Oncological Clinic in Lebanon, Tennessee, USA, to change the name of Netivyah USA to Netivyah International?

On Thursday, this magazine was sitting on the small table next to my seat while I was waiting to be called for the injection of radioactive Fluoride and other radioactive materials into my body. Sunday, I was planning to attend a church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, full of friends and supporters of the Netivyah USA. A church full of good people and dear brothers! I didn't expect it at all, but the young preacher spoke of shortsightedness and its general dangers for society and humans. Right here in Middle Tennessee, just before getting the PET CT pal, I was surrounded by the bloody red Star of David. It just hit me in the face, in the heart, and in every other important part of my soul.

Here and Now! Israel now as a parable for the near future for all disciples of the Messiah worldwide, not only a reality.

No one can say definitively why the pre–Gaza War surge of pure satanic evil and fury from hell happened when it did. [2] The salience of even a presidential candidate running just weeks before the election could not reprimand and condemn such groups like the neo-Nazis who marched in Charlottesville, Va. in 2017. These actions probably played a role, as did the influence of figures like the troubled rapper turned designer Kanye West, who, being Afro-American, forgot who stood with Martin Luther King in 1965 on the front line of the famous Selma, Alabama march standing and fighting Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel and Rabbi Maurice Eisendrath, and Pete Seger, Bob Dylan, and others less prominent but important Jewish figures. The battle of Dr. Martin Luther King was not only against racial discrimination of black brothers, it was for the end of Racism and racial discrimination in America and in the world, including against antisemitism. These are just a few prominent Jewish leaders in America who stood side by side and fought for freedom and equality.

This character spoke out of his mouth against the Jews, things that if someone spoke against our black brothers and good citizens of the USA, he would be ostracized and rejected from ever getting on a public stage, and no one would employ him even as a dog catcher. But people again are shortsighted and think only sectorial and selfish, and that is not only our black brothers, but it is the majority of society in the whole world.

Historically, antisemitism has been a side effect of populism, which traffics in us and promotes false and harmful stereotypes, not only to the objects of this hate but also harms the very souls and lives of those who promote Racism and indorse it and ignore it and keep silent on their church pulpits.

I mentioned the church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, I attended with all my family last Sunday.

In 1972, the first time I visited Murfreesboro in that same church after the services, the wealthiest man in the city called me and invited me to his house. I was happy to go, but when I arrived, and my wife and I stepped out of the car, he opened the door, came out with a checkbook and a pen in his hand, and said. "You Jew, I will write you a check for the sum of money that you will mention if you promise that you will never come back to this city!"

Today, dear brothers and sisters, the media is in our pockets, hands, homes, offices, and everywhere. The horrible virus of antisemitism spreads like wildfire just by a push of the finger. The government is helpless against it because the politicians are married to their constituency, and the pastors are afraid to say anything about it because some of their members (like in Murfreesboro, TN, in 1972) are members of the Klan.

Eleven worshipers were killed at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh in 2018 by a single shooter enraged at Jews just because they are Jews. Not because he knew any of them personally or had a grievance with any of them, but because, going to church all his life, he never heard this most straightforward biblical message:

Moses and Aaron, King David, Mary, the mother of Jesus, Peter, Paul, Andrew, Matthew, and Alfius, all the 12 apostles, and Jesus himself were good kosher Jews.

When Jesus was eight days old, his mother took him to be circumcised by a Jewish Rabbi with a very sharp knife and a steady hand.

Netivyah USA changed its name to Netivyah International because the problem is worldwide.

The carriers of this horrible virus are good people, mainly Christians. Still, they had damaged the souls of millions and millions of Christians because their church had kept silent and ignored when Jews were persecuted and when African American brothers, Latino brothers, or Native Americans were discriminated against and persecuted and hung on the hanging trees of the so-called 'wild west.'

Many go to church regularly and give their money to the church. They are happy to be shortsighted and never think they need to look forward, take the Word of God seriously, and consider what is happening around them, never considering words and ideas that damage the Jews or those who are a little different because they speak with an accent.

I confess that the articles in TIME magazine dated March 11, 2024, triggered me to think about antisemitism.

Who has to fight against this super virus of humanity that has existed for thousands of years? From Pharaoh to Amalek to Babylon to Persia (Iran of today) to the Greeks, Romans, the Catholic Church, the Nazis in Germany and Europe, until now Iran (Persia) and Hamas!

First of all, the answer to this question must be that every sensible and moral human has to fight against any person or nation who wants to discriminate against and annihilate any tribe, nation, or fellow human being. History has shown that if barbarism, Racism, and discrimination are allowed to exist, it will be like a virus, a plague, a tsunami of hate and destruction for more than the original object of that barbarism.

What will happen when Jesus returns to this Earth to reign? According to his promises and the promises of Isaiah, Zechariah, Malachi, and the apostles of Jesus, we have the full description, especially the vivid and picturesque descriptions in John's Revelation.

There will be a major gathering of the disciples of Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) all dressed in white, surrounding the great throne of God and Yeshua (Jesus in Greek), the circumspect and circumcised Jew, sitting on the throne with the crown on his head. [3]

The blood from that crown is long dried up and washed, but the memory is deeply ingrained in His head. This vast crowd will be singing, not Amazing Grace, a song I love immensely and learned by heart as a 5th-grade student in elementary school called "Geulim" in Jerusalem. ("Geulim" in Hebrew is taken from Isaiah chapter 51, and it means "The Redeemed." )

That great gathering will sing the SONG of MOSES and the Song of the Lamb. On this occasion, where will the antisemites and racists be?

If they are dressed in white and in that august crowd, will they be singing the song of Moses? Will they be sung by this august crowd around the throne that Our Lord will be occupying forever? Here are the words from Exodus chapter 15:

“Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces. And in the greatness of Your excellence, you have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble. And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy said, “I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’ You blew with Your wind; The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters. “Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? You stretched out Your right hand; The earth swallowed them. You in Your mercy have led forth the people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation. “The people will hear and be afraid; Sorrow will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistia. Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, Trembling will take hold of them; All the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away. Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm, They will be as still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O LORD, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased. You will bring them in and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O LORD, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O LORD, which Your hands have established. “The LORD shall reign forever and ever.” For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.” (Exodus 15:6-19 NKJV)

Please, dear brothers, notice several notes in this Song of Moses: Israel will win against its enemies, Egypt and Philistia. (Philistia today includes both Gaza and Judea and Samaria.)

I don't know how this will happen, but I do know that every promise of God will be fulfilled, and many have and are being fulfilled as you read this Prayer List now! One thing I know for sure! God, the creator of the world, has one people from one blood, and all are his children, including Arabs and Jews, Black and White, Yellow, Red, and even rainbow colors. God is always just and righteous in all His ways. Whatever happens in fulfilling these promises will happen in righteousness and justice and be wrapped in God's love and in the sacrifice of Yeshua (Jesus), who brought grace, unity, and peace to all nations. I don't know if even the Apostle John, who wrote these words, knew how and when these events would happen. But I am sure that these words of John are true, and they will happen, just as I am sure that this Earth and all that is on it and in it was created by the Almighty ONE of Israel. In the same way, I am sure that there will also be a New Heaven and a New Earth. [4] Please note that in Isaiah 66:22, the text includes a clear statement of the prophet, a quotation from God's Holy Spirit that the seed of Israel will remain. Just look at the last line of the song of Moses.

"But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea!"

The first point is that no other nation has been constantly threatened by annihilation for so long in its history, and it didn't start with Christian Antisemitism in the late 2nd century A.D. It started from the very birth of Isaac, the son of Sarah and Abraham, the progenitors of the Hebrew Nation, long before its name became Israel.

The birth of Antisemitism started from the birth of Ishmael and Isaac!

Here are some quick biblical facts. God was displeased with the rebellious developments in humanity. After Noah's flood, the human race changed and from fear united into a totalitarian, organized, horribly evil, but intelligent group of people. The fear of the God that caused the flood was so deeply etched into the consciousness of these people that it motivated them to unite, so to speak, give them defense protection from the God who created the world and all that is in it, including the humans.

The unity produced a plan to defend themselves from God by uniting and building a tower that would reach heaven. I realize that the dreams of the generation after the flood were to be free of the fear of extinction and to say to God, "NO! We don't have to obey you, and we are free moral agents who can do anything and whatever they fancy at any time and everywhere." This occasion of the building of the Tower of Babel seems like a poorly written myth. Still, historical and geographical circumstantial evidence exists in Babylon in the archaeological remains of the Ziggurats and other remains.

Dear Brothers and sisters around the world! No one can resist the evil of antisemitism because now it is spreading against Israel and the Jews around the world. It is spreading in places that ought to be the fortresses of knowledge and righteousness and progress, the universities and colleges around the whole Western world, including both North and South America and Western Europe.

It is a curious thing that I have never heard about any prominent Arab and Muslim countries having riots and violence in their universities. The reason, in my opinion, is simple: today, now, it has Israel and the Jewish people in the sights of their hate and weapons. Then, it will be turned against the Christians, who are even more hated by Islam than the Jews. As one of the leaders of the Palestinians said some years ago:

Now we start with the Sabbath, and Then we will go to Sunday.

This statement made by Arafat implies that they will destroy the Jews first and then the Christians.

We in Netivyah International have it as a divine obligation to speak to the churches worldwide and ensure that they know that to hate any nation or race is a sin, but to hate and persecute the Jewish people is a double sin because our Lord and Savior is Yeshua (Jesus) the King of the Jews. Because He is sitting on the right side of the Throne of God the Father, it is the obligation and duty of Christians who worship Jesus (Yeshua) and depend for their eternal salvation on The King of the Jews.

Here is a simple outline of what we plan to do and what we have been doing. We will now start with more vigorous activities to fight and resist, educate and train, and improve the relationship between Jews and Christians worldwide. Our actions will be in the following areas!

Media – both written and in video and publications.
Visiting churches and speaking to their hearts from God's word to join the battle against the discrimination of any race, but now especially the Jewish people and the land of Israel.
Organizing special seminars for Christians to educate them to identify antisemitic language and teaching and propaganda that sometimes is hidden and crouched in Christian language and the hate for Israel and the Jewish people is given a theological false teaching that is taken right out of the language of the Catholic Churches hate of the Old Testament and the Jews.

We need from you, dear brothers and sisters, support to be able to do this vital work and battle against those who hate Jews and hate Israel!

We need your prayers constantly. Without God's help, Netivyah International will have more difficulty launching a worldwide campaign and mobilizing brothers and sisters all around the world to take the healing message into the churches and educate our brothers and sisters from the Word of God that loving Israel and the Jewish people (not at the expense of our love for the Arab people) is a fundamental Biblical axiom!

We are going to need a substantial amount of money. Yes, this is a new thing that I have not done before. I have not openly and dramatically asked for funds or begged. Now, based on the dozens of times that God did things for the sake of David, even long after David was dead and buried in Jerusalem, in all these texts in the Bible written way after David's death, the meaning of David is the Messiah. But here is the clincher.

“For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.
The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the LORD will name. You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.” (Isaiah 62:1-4 NKJV)

[1] I am using the German language here because I can imagine in my mind and heart the upper-middle-class Jewish family with a substantial living condition in one of Germany's middle-class towns, seeing the storm of hate and discrimination that is already prevalent in Europe and thinking and speaking just like this what I have imagined.

[2] Although I can say that not a small majority of Israelis have a good idea why it happened, and that is an extremely selfish and destructive dismissive attitude of the highest echelon of Israel's military leadership and the leaders in our parliament who were fighting a battle clad with selfishness, ignoring the "then" and worked and dealing with the now. No one wore eyeglasses to see what was around the corner, including our illustrious Mossad. Just like Isaiah the prophet said: "From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up nor soothed with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire; Strangers devour your land in your presence; And it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers. So, the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, As a hut in a garden of cucumbers, As a besieged city." (Isaiah 1:6-8 NKJV)

Your prayers for brothers and sisters you don’t know personally is a pure love and building of the Body of the Messiah. It is Agape Love since you are doing this without any selfish interests and casting a vote in heaven for someone who is your brother. Still, you don't know them, and God looks at these prayers that are unselfish and genuine expression of love and care for another link in the long chain of love and faith that binds us together even though we might not know each other in this world.

When we all get to Heaven, it will be a joy to meet people we prayed for and sometimes even cried for. Brothers and sisters who are physically strangers but spiritually a part of the same body of Christ, I believe that one day we will have the privilege to sit together and share: "I remember praying for you to be healed!" "I remember praying for you to be safe when you were fighting in Gaza to free the hostages from the cruel hands of the terrorists of the Hamas in Gaza."

Continue earnest prayers for our war with Hamas to end soon and all the hostages to be returned safe and in one piece home to their loved ones!

Pray for our soldiers, especially for the soldiers we know and appreciate: Emanuel the son of Victor and Ayala, Amiel and Solomon and Ezekiel Intrater, and any other children of Believers, and, of course, for all of the men and women serving this country.

I hate that our boys, the men of our congregation, still serve in the Army. Most of them in reserves have to fight and use weapons and do war to protect the civilian population of Israel from terrorism driven by hate and blindness.

Please pray for the Middle East and for the world to see and understand what reality is in this part of the world. The land that provided for King David, the prophets, and Yeshua the Messiah want peace with our neighbors.

But our neighbors don’t want the hand that is stretched out in peace. They want to kill all the Jews and take their land, which is flourishing and a blessing for all the world, and make it a dump like their own place in Gaza and in the Arab countries.

Update:

 Joseph Shulam has Cancer-pancreatic Neuroendocrine tumor grade 1. A new cancer was identified in the Spleen this last week. Next Monday we will be in the Hospital from 7am preparing for some biopsy.

 Please keep Joe and Marcia in your prayers. Please keep praying for Marcia Shulam, my wife. Pray that Marcia's memory will stop weakening, her arthritis will be healed and stop being active, and her strength to return to where she can take more care of herself. Pray for the following brothers and sisters who need divine grace and the gentle touch of the hand of God for healing and strength.

 Batya Segal is coping with the cancer treatment's effects and is faithfully waiting for clean PET Scan results.

 Ilana Ahijervie is a dear sister who is 98 years old and suffering from memory problems.

 Please pray for our dear sister, Lea Kurkey.

 Sarit, a sister born in Jerusalem, is over 88 years old and lives alone. She has no close family and suffers from several old-age illnesses.

 Your prayers for Alexander, Sarah, and Andrew, who were raised as believers but have left their faith behind, have been answered. The Divine Shepherd guided these members of the same family gently back to the fold. Please keep praying for their general and spiritual welfare!

 Pray for Adam’s father and mother, Barry and Dalia. They have some health problems and challenges.

 Pray for Miriam and Hannah, her daughter. Miriam is a dear sister and has lost her husband recently.

 Pray for Daniel S. and his children.

 Pray for Gary, our dear leader in the Ro’eh Israel congregation, and his health, as well as for his wife Melanie and their family.

 Pray for Um Mahmud Abu-Eid, Jimmy Abu-Eid, and all of the family. This is a dear family of old friends that needs healing and wisdom for the children and for their work.

 Please pray for the Romero family, who live deep in the Negev desert. It is hot there, and they are far from our congregation, and we miss them.

 Please pray for Shannon’s father, Michael McGoff, Michael had heart surgery and we need to pray for his full recovery.

In the U.K.:

 We bless our dear sister Celestine with health and blessings from Heaven for her life and her family. We pray for the Lord to be her comfort and provide sister Celestine with all her physical, spiritual, and social needs with His grace.

 Pray for Deborah Isaiah. I pray for the Lord to find Deborah Isaiah and lead her to a blessed life, family, and a solution to her problems.

 Pray for our dear brother Dennis D’Costa and his family as they find their way and have a clear vision of what and where God wants them to live, serve, and grow their family. Lord, open the right doors for Dennis D’Costa and his family.

In Australia:

 A dear friend from Hong Kong, Bonnie, asked that we pray for her brother, Ray Chen, who lives in Australia. Please mention Ray Chen and ask God to show this man the grace of God and God’s powerful healing of body and soul, restoration of faith, and life of holiness and sanctity.

In Finland:

 New: Ester, a dear sister in the faith, is anxious about the results of some tests she has completed. We are thankful for the tests being done, and please pray for happy results. Waiting can be stressful, and we want to pray for her needs.

 Mauno Lemponen has been diagnosed with cancer in advanced stages. We are asking for Gods Will to be done, giving him healthy days with family—prayers for Hilka, Miika, and Ester, who support each other.

 Pray for Keijo and Salme, our dear partners and fellow workers in God’s flock. Both Keijo and Salme have some challenging heart issues.

 Sipra, our dear sister in Nokia, is a widow with some health issues.

 Pray for Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami, our dear sisters.

 Pray for Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia, Victor, Aaron Tani, and Hillel.

 Please remember to pray for Kari Antilles’ health in Finland. He has been a dear brother and supporter of Netivyah in prayer for many years.

In Brazil:

 Pray for the Congregations related to Netivyah in Brazil to have the strength and stamina to face the challenges ahead of them with courage and strength of faithfulness to the Lord and to the vision of the restoration of the church and Israel.

 Pray for the millions of victims of the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisition who have been forced to convert to the Catholic church and now want to return home to the land of Israel and to the faith of our fathers.

 Pray for the state of Israel to open the doors for these lost Jews to be able to return and fulfill God’s promises to the prophet Ovadyah:

“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau, For the Lord has spoken. The South shall possess the mountains of Esau, And the Lowland shall possess Philistia. They shall possess the fields of Ephraim And the fields of Samaria. Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captives of this host of the children of Israel Shall possess the land of the Canaanites As far as Zarephath. The captives of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad Shall possess the cities of the South.  Pray for a dear young man, Paulo, from Curitiba, Brazil, who seriously needs our prayers for sanity and mental health.

 Please pray for a dear sister named Claudia Rita Souze Arau. She has cancer and needs God’s healing hands to touch her with healing.

 Fatima Maria Docarmo Guimararaes - pray for her health and her granddaughters’ twin babies.

 Pray for Livia Schnell Nothen. She has some issues with her physical health and a growth in her adrenal gland.

 Guilherme Antonio Nothen Becker is suffering from back problems.

 Aratuza de Oliveira and his wife. Pray for their 3-year-old child, Caique de Oliveira Becker, who has severe problems with his eyes, and ask the Lord to give healing to his eyes.

 Please pray for Bruno Henrique Cardoso Jr. for his studies and his health.

 A 70-year-old Pastor, Paulo C. Pereira Braga Dias, is the father of a dear sister in Brazil and suffers from diabetes.

 Pray for Roberto Morias, a dear brother who is going through heart surgery and an angiogram.

In Asia:

 Please pray for dear sister Bee Kim, a 71-year-old who lost consciousness on February 26, 2023. She has not regained her consciousness after a massive stroke.

 Pray for Pastor T.J. in Taiwan.

 Pray for Deborah Ruth, a dear sister from China.

 Pray for sister Reiko Ishiida, Elder Takeo, his wife Tomoko from Tokyo, Dr. Yuizawa, Pastor Yushida and his family.

 Pray for Sister Yoko Nagumo in Japan.

 In India, Pastor Isaac, from Chennai, needs our prayers. Pastor Isaac is suffering from kidney problems and has to have dialysis several times per week.

 Tony Tam, his wife Luisa, and his son Marco need special prayers for their situation.

 We continue to pray for Zhou Wenrian, Abe family, Toru San, Yumi Ohara, and her family: Deborah Ruth, Ayla, Daniel, and their daughter.

 Pray for Dr. Song, and his wife, Sister Harriet Kim.

 Please pray for Ruby K. from Hong Kong. Ruby has gone through a highly complex surgery for multiple cancers in her body. The surgery was very long, and Ruby is back home now recovering. Ask the Lord to heal and deliver Ruby from Hong Kong.

In the United States of America:

 New: Add Brother Philip Slate and his wife. She is suffering from several physical and mental health challenges.

 Drayton Ford (Marcia's great nephew), age 14, has had health issues related to mold exposure that are affecting his ability to heal and participate in public school with mold contamination. Please pray for the family to have support and peace in the choices they need to make for Drayton's health and schooling.

 Barbra and Angie in Alaska. Barbra has some pains and discomfort related to old age. Please lift them in prayer for strength and reduction in pain.

 Ray Jimenez from California is batteling leukemia. Pray for God to sustain him and his time with the family.

 Please continue to pray for the daughter of Bill Culwell, who is very sick with cancer and is receiving a second round of treatment. Please pray for success and healing.

 Jonathan Bernis is in a long six-month recovery from a liver transplant. We thank God for this match. Please pray for this new liver to function and provide much-needed function. Please pray for Elisangela and the girls and the doctors and nurses attending our dear brother Jonathan Bernis.

 Andrew Huffines has complications from long-term COVID-19.

 Please pray for my family in the United States: Barry, my son, and his wife, Beth, and for Joey, my grandson. Pray for their divine protection and health.

 Please pray for Danah, my daughter's health issues. I pray for the Lord to give Danah wisdom, peace, and calm in life and her work.

 Pray for Noaam, my granddaughter. She is working two jobs now and needs good health and wisdom to make the right choices and plans for life, education, immigration to Israel, and just general protection from all harm.

 Pray for David Young, the preacher in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who is back to preaching after recovering from medical issues.

 Aaron Hook, Nancy Hook’s oldest son, needs our prayers for wisdom and healing from past life issues.

 Lift for blessing and healing Jonathan B., his wife Aviva, their new baby, his mother, and his brother Daniel.

 Pray for these important men of God: Rabbi Salt, his family, and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

 Also, pray for Ilana Avramov, who is married to my cousin Nissim and lives in New York City. Ilana has fallen and is now in rehab, learning how to walk again. We pray for her full recovery. She and Nissim both need our prayers.

 Pray for Steve Mock - His cognitive condition has declined, and we ask for the grace of God and His Healing and strength. Steve and Josie’s son Joseph has received a wonderful and glorious report. After the last bone marrow transplant, the report is that the doctors didn’t find any leukemia in his body! Praise the Lord!

In Canada:

Pray for three women of God in Canada who need healing: Lynda, Sandy, and Joanne.
