예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2026년 8월 1일

네티비야 설립자이자 이사인 저 요셉 슐람은 1970년대 중반부터 이 예루살렘 기도 목록을 써오고 있습니다. 이 예루살렘 기도 목록은 사실 1920년대 말에 정통 유대교 유대인으로서 예슈아의 제자셨던 모셰 에마누엘 벤-마이어 형제님에 의해 시작되었습니다. 모셰 에마누엘 벤-마이어 형제님은 1920년대(?, 1900년대의 오기일 가능성 있음, 역자주) 초 예루살렘 올드시티 유대인지구에서 태어나 예루살렘 올드시티 유대인지구 하시딕 마을에서 자랐습니다.

모셰 형제님은 마지막 숨을 거두기까지 평생 정통 유대교 유대인이었지만, 사도 바울처럼 이스라엘 국가가 세워지기 전부터 예슈아의 제자였습니다. 그의 예루살렘 기도 목록은 처음에는 세계 여러 곳으로부터 사람들의 요청으로, 타지기로 쓴 한 쪽짜리 소식지로 발간되어, 우편으로 발송되었습니다.

모셰 에마누엘 벤-마이어 형제님이 돌아가신 후 저 요셉 슐람이 이 일을 물려받아, 1970년대 말부터는 주간 소식지로 변경한 예루살렘으로부터의 기도 목록의 저자이자 발간자가 되었습니다. 제가 발간하는 이 예루살렘 기도 목록에는 언제나 두 부분이 있는데요, 앞부분은 전 세계 모든 회당에서 읽는 매주 토라 포션에 대한 가르침이고, 뒷부분은 사실 가장 중요한 부분으로서 전 세계에 흩어져 있는 사람들이 기도 가운데 예루살렘과 이스라엘의 예슈아의 제자 공동체의 필요와 전 세계 친구들의 치유나 다른 필요나 그들의 삶 가운데 어려움들에 대한 특별 기도를 올려드리도록 공지되는 기도 목록입니다.

이번 안식일 토라 포션은 “에켑”이라고 하는데요, 히브리어로 아주 작은 단어지만, 영어(혹은 타언어)로는 딱 한 단어로 번역할 수 없는 단어입니다. 한글 번역본 개역개정은 히브리 단어 “에켑”을 다음과 같은 말로 번역하고 있습니다:

신명기 7:12 “너희가 이 모든 법도를 듣고 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 언약을 지켜 네게 인애를 베푸실 것이라”

히브리어의 작은 단어 “에켑”은 위에 파란색으로 표시된 전체 문구로 표현되었습니다. 히브리어 단어 “에켑”은 영어에서는 “왜냐하면, ~ 때문에, ~ 인하여, ~이므로”라는 단어로만 번역될 수 있습니다. (한글 번역본에서는 조건문처럼 번역되었지만, 영어에서는 “~ 때문에, ~이므로”의 의미의 because로 번역되었음, 역자주) 그렇지만 문맥상 모세가 말하고자 하는 바와 저자의 의도를 명확히 이해하려면 더 많은 단어가 필요합니다. 신명기 본문을 더 잘 이해할 수 있도록 도와주는 추가적인 주석이 없다면 그 맥락은 제대로 파악하기 어려울 것입니다. 여기에는 하나님의 명령에 대한 우리의 반응과 그에 따른 결과 사이의 인과 관계가 표현되어 있고, 이는 하나님의 자녀이자 종인 우리가 하나님의 요구와 요청에 대하여 보이는 우리의 행동과 반응의 원인과 결과를 보여주는 것입니다.

정말 흥미로운 점은 예슈아의 사도들, 특히 나중에 사도로 합류된 바울과 바나바를 포함한 사도들이 예루살렘에서 열린 회의에 참석하여 새로 믿음의 권속으로 합류한 그리스와 소아시아(오늘날의 터키)의 비-유대인 제자들을 어떻게 해야 할지 결정했다는 사실입니다. 이 회의 기록은 사도행전 15장에 나와 있는데, 마지막 요구 혹은 매우 강력한 권고 사항은 다음과 같았습니다:

이번 안식일에 전 세계 모든 유대교 회당에서는 동일한 토라 본문을 읽습니다. 이는 주후 1세기, 사도들과 성도 공동체의 지도자들이 모든 회당에서 하나님의 말씀을 듣도록 명하자고 합의했던 때와 마찬가지입니다. 사도들의 의도는 예슈아의 제자들이 토라를 지키지 않도록 하려는 것이 아니었습니다. 오히려 사도행전 15장에 기록된 예루살렘에서 열린 사도들의 공의회의 결정은 제자들, 즉 예슈아의 제자들에게 모세의 토라가 무엇을 가르치고 무엇을 행하라 명령하는지 읽고 알라는 것인데, 그것은 안식일에 온 이스라엘 백성이 듣는 것과 동일한 토라 부분을 읽고, 계명을 들을 뿐 아니라, 예슈아의 모든 제자 공동체를 위해 행하고 지키게 하려는 분명한 의도를 담고 있었습니다. 여러분이 안식일에 전 세계 모든 회당에서 낭독되는 본문을 읽으면, 특히 이번 안식일에 모든 회당에서 낭독되는 전체 명령문을 읽어보면, 예슈아의 사도들이 이스라엘에서부터 지중해 연안 전체에 이르는 비-유대인 제자들에게 명한 이 단순한 계명이 얼마나 중요한지 알 수 있습니다.

저는 이 문제에 너무 깊이 들어가고 싶지는 않았지만, 이 기회를 통해 친애하는 비-유대인 형제자매님들께 사도들의 직접적인 지도를 받던 초대교회가 예슈아의 비-유대인 제자들에게 매 안식일에 회당에 가서 하나님의 말씀을 듣도록 권장했다는 사실을 다시 한번 상기시켜 드리고 싶었습니다. 오늘날 사람들은 집에도, 스마트폰이나 아이패드, 컴퓨터에도 성경을 가지고 있어서, 굳이 회당에 가서 성경을 접할 필요가 없다고 생각할 수도 있습니다. 하지만 제 생각에는 여러 가지 이유로, 이방 민족 출신의 그리스도인 형제자매님들이 지역 회당 및 유대인 공동체와 관계를 맺고 교제하며 서로에게 배우는 것은 매우 현명하고 중요한 일입니다.

저는, 거듭나서 하나님의 영으로 충만해진 유대인 형제자매들이 하나님의 명령에 순종하는 본울 보인다면, 비-유대인 형제자매들이 예슈아의 사도들의 가르침에 더욱 순종하게 될 것이라고 확신합니다. 비-유대인 형제자매님은 또한 예슈아의 제자로서 자신들에게 적용되는 토라의 명령도 지킬 것이며, 그들의 순종은 세상을 더욱 가깝게, 특히 예슈아의 유대인 제자들과 비-유대인 제자들 사이를 더욱 가깝게 만들고, 더 큰 연합을 이루고, 치유 등 더 많은 성령의 열매를 맺고, 하나님의 신실하심을 확증하고, 이번 안식일 토라 포션에서 모세의 말로 약속되고 선지서와 함께 신약성경에서 약속된 제자들의 축복의 새 시대를 가져올 것이라고 믿습니다.

이번 안식일에 선지서에서 읽는 부분은 이사야 49:14–51:3입니다.

이 기도 목록을 읽고 있는 여러분 모두에게 특별한 권면이 있습니다. 여러분이 영감을 얻도록 계속해서 이사야 51장 4절부터 52장 3절까지 읽으시기를 권합니다. 저는 여러분에게 용이하도록 이 기도 목록에 이 부분을 포함시켰습니다.

저는 다음 장(52장)의 첫 구절들을 포함시켜야 할 것 같습니다:

“여호와께서 시온을 위로하십니다!”

신약성경에서 읽도록 권장되는 부분은 마태복음 16:13-20입니다.

요즘 중동 전역에서 너무나 많은 극적인 사건들이 벌어지고 있어서 우리의 삶은 마치 “지붕 위의 바이올린”의 대사 같습니다. 확실한 것은 아무것도 없고 모든 것이 불확실합니다. 우리 정치인들은 예루살렘에서 워싱턴 D.C.로, 미국 대통령과 회담하러 왔다 갔다 하지만, 정작 우리 삶을 불안정하게 만드는 사건들은 별다른 변화가 없습니다. 우리에게 있는 유일한 위안은 “우리 아버지 하나님의 약속 위에 서는 것” 뿐입니다.

저희는 여러분의 기도와 지원이 절실히 필요합니다. 기도가 가장 중요하지만, 가난한 이들을 돕고 이스라엘의 교육기관에서 공부하는 메시아의 제자들을 지원하는 것과 같은 현실적인 문제에도 여러분의 도움이 필요합니다. 이 프로젝트가 매우 중요한 이유는 저희가 저희 자녀들과 이스라엘 회중에서 태어나고 자란 이들이 최고의 교육을 받아 최고의 직업을 얻고, 저희 회중 지체들과 젊은 세대의 사회적 지위와 사회경제적 기반을 향상시켜 이스라엘 사회의 안정적이고 존경받는 구성원으로서 사회에 더 큰 영향력을 행사할 수 있기를 바라기 때문입니다.

저희 네티비야와 함께 서 주시고, 예슈아께서 예루살렘으로 다시 오실 때를 준비하여 미래를 준비할 수 있도록, 그리고 그분께서 예루살렘에서부터 땅끝까지 만왕의 왕, 만주의 주로 오셨을 때 이스라엘에 안정되고, 잘 갖춰져 있으며, 재정적으로 자립 가능한 제자 공동체가 있는 것을 보실 수 있도록 도와주십시오. 저는 여러분이 할 수 없는 일을 요구하는 것이 아닙니다. 각자 할 수 있는 만큼만 해주시기를 권하는 것입니다. 중요한 것은 지원 액수가 아니라, 예루살렘 공동체를 향한 여러분의 마음입니다. 그것이 하늘에서 먼저, 그다음 이 땅에서도 큰 변화를 가져올 것입니다. 친애하는 형제자매 여러분 모두에게 하나님께서 복을 주시고, 첫째로 여러분의 모든 필요를 채워주시고, 둘째로 여러분의 기도에 지혜를 주시고, 셋째로 주님께서 봄베이나 다마스커스(다메섹)가 아닌 예루살렘으로 돌아오신다는 사실을 기억하게 해주시기를 기도합니다!

The Jerusalem Prayer List - For August 1, 2026

I, Joseph Shulam, the founder and director of Netivyah, has been writing the Jerusalem Prayer List since the mid-1970s. The Jerusalem Prayer List was actually started in the late 1920's by an Orthodox Jewish Disciple of Yeshua called Moshe Emanuel Ben-Mayer. Moshe Emanuel Ben-Mayer was born in the Jewish Quarter of the old city of Jerusalem in the early 1920's and raised in Jerusalem's Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem's Hasidic neighborhood.

Moshe was an Orthodox Jew all of His life to his last breath, but like the Apostle Paul, he was a disciple of Yeshua before the establishment of the State of Israel. His Jerusalem Prayer List was published at first as a bulletin, asking people from around the world, with a limited one-page written on a typewriter and mailed by regular mail.

I, Joseph Shulam, inherited this task after Moshe Emanuel Ben-Mayer died, and since the late 1970s, I have been the writer and publisher of the weekly prayer list from Jerusalem. In the Jerusalem Prayer List that I have been publishing, there were always two parts: The first part was a teaching of the weekly Torah portion that is read in every synagogue around the world. The second part that is actually the most important part is the actual list published so that people around the world will lift in prayer the needs of the community of Disciples of Yeshua in Jerusalem and Israel and friend from around the world who need special prayers for healing or other needs and challenges in their lives.

This next Shabbat's reading is called Ekev, which is a very small word in Hebrew, but it can't be translated into English with just one word: The New King James Version translates the Hebrew Word Ekev with the following statement:

Deuteronomy 7:12 "Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments," and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers."

That little Hebrew word Ekev was expressed in English with the whole line above written in purple color. It could be translated only with the English word "Because"! But the context demands more words to make it clear what Moses was saying and the intention of the context that would not be understood without the additional notes that make the text of Deuteronomy clearer to understand the intent of the writer. There is a certain causality that is expressed that connects our response to God's commands that carries with it the cause and effect of our actions and responses to God's requests and demands from us, his children and his servants.

What is super interesting is this fact that when the apostles of Yeshua, including the later added as apostles, Paul and Barnabas who attended the meeting in Jerusalem with the rest of the Apostles of Yeshua to decide what to do with the newly added disciples from among the non-Jewish communities from Greece and Asia Minor (Turkey of today). The record of this meeting is in Acts chapter 15; the last demand or very strong recommendation was:

"For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath."

In other words, the Apostles, including Paul, agreed to strongly recommend all the non-Jewish Disciples of Yeshua to go on Shabbats to the local synagogues to hear the word of God read in public in order to be knowledgeable of how to live and what to eat or not eat, according to the Law of Moses that is read in the synagogues on every Shabbat.

On this next Shabbat, all around the world in every Jewish synagogue, the same text from the Torah is being read, just like in the first century after Christ, when the agreement of the apostles and the other leaders of the community of the saints was commanded to hear the word of God read in every synagogue. The intention of the Apostles was not for the disciples of Yeshua not to keep the Torah, but on the contrary the decision that the Acts 15 council of the apostles in Jerusalem with clear intent was for the disciples to read and know what the Torah of Moses was instruction and commanding the disciples of Yeshua to do was to read on Shabbat the same Torah portions that all of Israel would hear on the same Shabbat and also not only hear the commandments but also do them and keep them for the sake of the whole community of followers and disciples of Yeshua. When you read the text that is read in every synagogue around the world on Shabbat and especially when we read the whole commanded text that is read on this next Shabbat in every synagogue, we see the importances of this simple command that the Apostles of Yeshua commanded those followers of Yeshua from among the non-Jewish population in the communities from Israel and all the way to the whole Mediterranean Sea communities of disciples of Yeshua.

I didn't intend to get bogged down with this issue, but it was an opportunity to remind my dear non-Jewish brothers and sisters that the early church under the direct instructions of the Apostles did recommend the non-Jewish disciples of Yeshua to go to the synagogue and hear the word of God read on every Shabbat. Today people have Bibles in their homes and on their smartphones and iPads and computers, and they might feel it is not necessary for them to go to the synagogues in order to have access to the bible. But, in my opinion, for more than one reason, it is intelligent and important for our Christian brothers from among the nations to keep a relationship and find fellowship with the local synagogues and Jewish communities and learn from each other.

I just feel confident that if my Jewish brothers who have been born again and have been filled in the Spirit of God would show an example of obedience to God's commands our non-Jewish brothers and sisters would be more obedient to the teaching of the Apostles of Yeshua our non-Jewish brothers and sisters would also keep those commandments of the Torah that are relevant for them as disciples of Yeshua and their obedience would bring a new period that would bring the world closer to each other especially between the Jewish and non-Jewish disciples of Yeshua and create more unity and more fruit of the Spirit of God like healings and affirmations of the faithfulness of God and the blessings of His Disciples as the words of Moses promises in our Shabbat reading of the Torah, and the prophets and the parallel readings also from the New Testament.

The reading from the prophets on This Shabbat is from Isaiah 49:14 – 51:3.

"But Zion said, 'The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me." "Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely, they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you." 18 Lift your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live," says the LORD, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, and bind them on you as a bride does. 19 "For your waste and desolate places, And the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants; And those who swallowed you up will be far away. 20 The children you will have, after you have lost the others, Will say again in your ears, "The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.' Then you will say in your heart, who has begotten these for me, Since I have lost my children and am desolate, A captive, and wandering to and fro? And who has brought these up? There I was, left alone; But these, where were they?'". Is. 49:22 Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, and set up My standard for the peoples; They shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders; Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers;

They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth and lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, for they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me." 24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered? Is. 49:25 But thus says the LORD: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, and they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the LORD, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob." Isaiah 51:1 "Thus says the LORD: "Where is the certificate of your mother's divorce, Whom I have put away? Or which of My creditors is it to whom I have sold you? For your iniquities you have sold yourselves, and for your transgressions your mother has been put away. 2 Why, when I came, was there no man? Why, when I called, was there none to answer? Is My hand shortened at all that it cannot redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? Indeed, with My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink because there is no water and die of thirst. 3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, And I make sackcloth their covering."

I have a special recommendation to all of you who are reading this prayer list, please for your inspiration I recommend that you continue reading Isaiah chapter 51:3 until Isaiah 52:4 I have included it here in this prayer list to make it easy for you.

"4: The Lord GOD has given Me. The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak. A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to hear as the learned. 5 The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. 6 I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. 7 "For the Lord GOD will help Me; Therefore, I will not be disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed. 8 He is near who justifies Me; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me. 9 Surely the Lord GOD will help Me; Who is he who will condemn Me? Indeed, they will all grow old like a garment; The moth will eat them up. 10 "Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God. 11 Look, all you who kindle a fire, who encircle yourselves with sparks: Walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks, you have kindled—This you shall have from My hand: You shall lie down in torment. The Lord Comforts Zion!"

I feel that I should include the first verses from the next chapter of Isaiah:

1 "Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. 2 Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone and blessed him and increased him." 3 For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden…"

And from the New Testament, the recommended reading is from Matthew 16:13-20.

"When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" So, they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:13-19 NKJV)

There are so many dramatic events taking place in the whole Middle East these days that our lives are really like fiddlers on the roof. Nothing is sure, and everything is in question. Our politicians are bobbing up and down from Jerusalem to Washington, D.C., to speak to the president of the United States and bopping back to Jerusalem with not much change in the events that make our lives so unstable that the only comfort that we have is the "standing on the promises of God our father!"

We need your prayers and we need your support not only in prayers that is the most important but for more mundane issues like feeding the poor and supporting disciples of the Messiah who are students of Israel's academic institutions. This project is of the greatest important because we want our children and those who are born and raised in the congregations in Israel to have the best education that will give them the best jobs that will raise the status and socioeconomic status of our members and our young generations to become stable and honorable members of the Israeli society that will have much greater influence in the society if they are well employed and financially stable.

Please stand with us in Netivyah and help the future to be ready for the return of Yeshua to Jerusalem and find a stable, well-equipped, and financially independent body of disciples in Israel upon His return to be king of kings and Lord of lords from Jerusalem to the ends of this earth. I am not asking you to do something that you can't do, I am recommending for all to do only what they can do. It is not the amount of support that makes the difference; it is your hearts in the support that you share with our community in Jerusalem that makes the difference in heaven first and second down here on this earth. God bless you all our dear brothers and sisters and provide you first with all your needs and second with the wisdom in your prayers and third with the memory that the Lord is returning to Jerusalem not to Bombay or Damascus!

The Prayer List

Pray for the following brothers and sisters who need divine grace and the gentle touch of the hand of God for healing and strength.

In Jerusalem:

 Elihana Elia still battling cancer. please keep her in your prayers for her treatments and healing.

 Judy is 100 years old and has been placed in a special home for her needs.

 Pray for Adam’s father and mother, Barry and Dalia. They have some health problems and challenges.

 Pray for Miriam a dear sister old age dementia.

 Pray for Um Mahmud Abu-Eid, Jimmy Abu-Eid, and all of the family. This is a dear family of old friends that needs healing and wisdom for the children and for their work.

 Please pray for the Romero family, who live deep in the Negev desert. It is hot there, and they are far from our congregation, and we miss them.

In the U.K.:

 Pray for Deborah Isaiah. I pray for the Lord to find Deborah Isaiah and lead her to a blessed life, family, and a solution to her problems.

In Finland:

 ilse Luukas is having her second melanoma surgery and is asking for success in removing all the cancer. This is a repeat from 2019.

 Mauno Lemponen’s health has not changed which is a good thing. They are evaluating moving closer to other family members — prayers for Hilkka, Miika, and Ester who will support this possible change. Please pray as moving is always a big task.

 Pray for Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami, our dear sisters.

 Pray for Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia, Victor, Aaron Tani, and Hillel.

 Pray for the family of X in Finland who are waiting to see their children and Grandchildren to be in faith in the Lord. its stressful to not have all your children walk in faith.

In Denmark:

 Cynthia M asked you to pray for her health. She has neutropenia and chronic asthma, and has been undergoing biological treatment with injections every two weeks since 2021 so I ask you to pray for better results and better health conditions as the symptoms, respiratory infections, medications, and injections make me very tired every day.

 Mass has lost his wife and has small children. Please pray for Mass a this children as he navigates this major change in his life and the Childrens life. May God bless him with direction.

In Brazil:

 Sister Rosie needs prayers to overcome fears of traveling by plane.

 Hannah and her family are in Dubai. They need prayer to make plans on either leaving or stay in dubai since that's where they are currently employed.

 Pray for a dear young man, Paulo, from Curitiba, Brazil, who seriously needs our prayers for sanity and mental health.

 Pray for a dear sister named Claudia Rita Souze Arau. She has cancer and needs God’s healing hands to touch her with healing.

 Pray for Pastor T.J. in Taiwan.

 Pray for Deborah Ruth, a dear sister from China.

 Pray for Sister Yoko Nagumo in Japan.

 Tony Tam, his wife Luisa, and his son Marco need special prayers for their situation.

 M. is back in the hospital for rehabilitation after being in and out the last 4 months. now and the family is asking for prayers.

 Keith in Baltimore is having a terrible time with Crohn’s disease - please pray for his healing.

 Bart Hill has aplastic anemia. His family and friends are asking for prayers for recovery and strength.

 Judith is asking for prayers to her kidney function and painful neuropathy. Please pray for her healing. She so desperately needs some relief.

 Chatica was raised by her grandmother who is going through initial stages of dimensia. Pray for and family that are navigating this new phase of care for her.

 Sarah R is asking for prayers.

 June V is asking for prayers for her grandchildren's needs. It can be worrisome at times and we can all relate to praying over our grandbabies.

 A request for those in the Pittsburgh area for helping hands at the Tree of Life church's food pantry. they need extra hands to assist in keeping that ministry going.

 prayers for Elle's husband to find a job, for her PRP injections and her family's needs.

 Cindy has been fighting spiritual battles at work for many years and is asking for God to open a door for her if it is His will for her to move on.

 I ask for prayers for divine intervention in the lives of my sister-in-law “A” and her husband, my brother, “G” and their son. l am begging the Eternal for healing and salvation for this family.

 Shirley J heart surgery is needed since her stents did not work. She is asking for faith to be strengthened.

 Ray H. is having a similar health issue to Marcia Shulam, where the blood pressure drops when we stands up.

 Irina L. needs a kidney transplant. Her kidney is beginning to fail and is only 26% functioning. Prayer for a suitable donor and wisdom for the doctors and medical team to maintain her kidney functions. (Irina is the twin sister of pastor Serge from Kazakhstan.

 Elisheva’s husband is recovering from a fourth surgery. On September 23, he will have a 5th surgery. Also prayer for healing for Elisheva's left leg and hip joint healing. Also, an interview next week for a new job.

 Manny is asking for prayers for his father’s health that is in decline.

 update Shirleyann - continues to have a rough time with water retention and hydration medications. Her heart is slowing down. The good news is her weight has increased. please continue to keep her in your prayers.

 Jordan Issac - is scheduled to visit some doctors to evaluate his needs and mental health. Please pray for an answer to his needs to be found and help this young man.

 Pete and Marge. Marge is undergoing tests for breast cancer, and they are in the process of trying to get legal guardianship of their grandkids. They are both in the mid 80s. Please pray for strength and longevity to get these kids past college age.

 Aida Ramirez turned 100 this past Tuesday dec 23. She is in a wheelchair, recovering from a hip surgery, and is dealing with dementia. continue to pray for her and her family (Aida is taking care of it)

 Pat S pain management has improved with some shots. Keep Philip, who is 89 and is caring for Pat, in you prayers.

 Larry is asking for prayers for his grandchildren. I would say most of us that have grandchildren are concerned about the states of the world. The state of intolerance. The temptations out there. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to guide them in making good choices.

 Juli got a good report on her last scan and she is also in remission. So praise God. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good.

 Bill has been able to change the regiment where the side effects are manageable, and we are thankful for that. We are praying for healing, strength, and comfort for Jill and Bill.

 Barbra and Angie are in Alaska. Barbra has some pains and discomfort related to old age. Please lift them in prayer for strength and reduction in pain.

 Please pray for Danah, my daughter's health issues. I pray for the Lord to give Danah wisdom, peace, and calm in life and her work.

 Aaron Hook, Nancy Hook’s oldest son, needs our prayers for wisdom and healing from past life issues.

 Pray for these important men of God: Rabbi Salt, his family, and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

 Pray for Ilana Avramov, who is married to my cousin Nissim and lives in New York City. Ilana is home now. Her health is in a decline. She and Nissim both need our prayers.

 Pray for Steve Mock - His cognitive condition has declined, and we ask for the grace of God and His Healing and strength. Steve and Josie’s son Joseph has received a wonderful and glorious report. After the last bone marrow transplant, the report is that the doctors didn’t find any leukemia in his body! Praise the Lord! 

Two weeks before the war with Iran began, I met with the CEO of Magen David Adom (David’s Red Shield), Israel’s national emergency medical service. With about 2,000 employees and 35,000 volunteers, MADA responders are the first on the scene when missiles are intercepted or strike communities, providing urgent medical care and assessment. Netivyah International is seeking to raise $150,000 to fund one ambulance and a rapid-response tricycle vehicle to help reach those in need quickly.
