여호와의 눈 지난 주에 저는 이스라엘에 일어나고 있는 모든 일에 대해 많은 질문을 받았습니다. 사람들이 주로 질문한 것은 정치적 상황과 논란이 많은 사법 개혁에 관해서입니다. 제가 오늘날의 이스라엘을 볼 때 저는 무엇보다도 관계에 있어서 우리가 어떻게 안정을 잃고 있는지와, 혼란의 시작을 봅니다. 예슈아께서는 이러한 어려운 때에 대해 말씀하셨고, 여호와께서도 사람의 죄악이 세상에 가득함과 그의 마음으로 생각하는 모든 계획이 항상 악할 뿐임을 보셨습니다. (창세기 6:5) 이것과 아울러 우리는 로마서 5:20-21에서 “율법이 들어온 것은 범죄를 더하게 하려 함이라 그러나 죄가 더한 곳에 은혜가 더욱 넘쳤나니 이는 죄가 사망 안에서 왕 노릇 한 것 같이 은혜도 또한 의로 말미암아 왕 노릇 하여 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영생에 이르게 하려 함이라”를 봅니다. 우리가 오늘날의 세계를 보면 우리는 지진과 기근에서부터 전쟁과 전쟁의 소문에 이르기까지 여러 위기가 바로 우리 눈 앞에서 일어나고 있는 것을 봅니다. 이것과 함께 우리는 주의 제자인 우리가 여호와의 눈의 눈동자라는 것과, 여호와의 눈은 온 땅을 두루 감찰하사 전심으로 여호와께 향하는 자들 쪽으로 바라보신다는 것을 기억해야 합니다. (역대하 16:9) 선지자들로 넘어가서 우리는 스가랴 4:10에서 온 세상에 두루 다니는 여호와의 일곱 눈이 있음을 읽습니다. 이 일곱의 각각은 각자의 특성이 있습니다. 이사야 11:2은 계속해서 “그의 위에 여호와의 영 곧 지혜와 총명의 영이요 모략과 재능의 영이요 지식과 여호와를 경외하는 영이 강림하시리니”라고 말합니다. 마지막으로 요한계시록 5:6에서 우리는 다시 한 번 일곱 영에 대해 읽습니다: “내가 또 보니 보좌와 네 생물과 장로들 사이에 한 어린 양이 서 있는데 일찍이 죽임을 당한 것 같더라 그에게 일곱 뿔과 일곱 눈이 있으니 이 눈들은 온 땅에 보내심을 받은 하나님의 일곱 영이더라.” 주 안에서 저의 형제들인 여러분, 우리 눈으로 보더라도 세상은 어두워져 가고 있습니다. 우리는 주님께서 그분의 빛을 이 어두운 세상에 비추도록 선택하신 자들이라는 것을 기억합시다. 어렵더라도 우리는 “하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”는 것을 기억해야 합니다. 우리는 성령님께서 우리에게 오셔서 우리를 통해 그분의 강력한 이적을 보이시도록 중보하고 기도하며 구하도록 부름 받은 자들입니다. 정말로 저는 하나님의 집이 커지는 것과 사람들이 생수의 샘에서 물을 마시러 오는 것을 봅니다. 우리는 주님의 재림을 선포하는 세대가 됩시다. 우리가 주님께서 주님의 나라를 이 땅에 내려오게 하시고 예루살렘에서 그분의 보좌에 앉으시는 것을 보게 되기를 기도합니다. 예슈아만이 사람과 하나님 사이에, 그리고 사람들과 나라들 사이에 평화를 가져오실 수 있는 분입니다. 그분은 평화의 왕이십니다. 그분의 눈은 여러분을 향햐여 바라보고 계십니다. 우리는 성령의 기름 부음으로 충만해집시다. 우리의 등이 계속 기름으로 채워져 있기를 기도합니다. (마태복음 25장) ======================================================= The Eyes of the Lord In the last weeks I received many questions about all that is happening in Israel. People have mainly asked about the political situation and the controversial judicial reforms. When I look at Israel today I see among many things; how we are losing stability in relationships, as well as the beginning of chaos. Yeshua speaks about these difficult times; the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5) With this; we see in Romans 5:20-21 how “The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”. When we look at the world today, we see many crises from earthquakes and famines to wars and rumors of wars; taking place right now in front of our eyes. With this we need to remember that we, His followers, are the apple of His eye and His eyes are looking toward the earth for the ones whose heart is with Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9) Turning to the prophets; we read in Zechariah 4:10 that there are seven eyes of the Lord which range throughout the earth. Each one of them has it's own character. Isaiah 11:2 goes on to say, “And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.” Finally in Revelation 5:6 we once again read of the seven spirits. “Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth”. My brothers in the Lord, even though we are witnessing with our own eyes, the world growing darker; let us remember that we are who the Lord chose to bring His light into this very darkness. Even though it is difficult, we need to remember that, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” We are the ones called to intercede, pray and seek for His Spirit to come upon us so that His mighty wonders will show through us. Indeed, I see growth in the house of God and I see people coming to drink from the spring of living water. Let us be the generation who proclaims the return of our Lord. May we see Him coming with the heavenly kingdom descending upon the earth to sit on His throne in Jerusalem. Yeshua is the only one who can bring peace between man and God and between the people and the nations. He is the Prince of Peace. His eyes are looking toward you. Let us be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. May our lamps be continually filled with oil. (Matthew 25) |
