우리는 좀 새롭고 어려운 시간으로 들어가고 있습니다. 저에게는 예슈아를 믿는 우리에게 시련과 환난에 어떻게 대처해야 하는지에 대한 더 큰 깨달음이 필요한 것 같이 보입니다.
궁극적으로 우리가 물질적 축복 가운데 사는 것이 하나님의 뜻입니다. 성경 마지막에 서 우리는 영원히 고통도, 저주도, 눈물도 없을 것임을 볼 수 있습니다 (요한계시록 21:4). 그러나 이 시대에 사람의 경향이 있는데, 편안할 때는 하나님으로부터 돌아서고 힘들 때는 하나님께 향합니다. 믿지 않는 사람들은 모든 것이 수월할 때는 하나님에 대해 듣는 것에 관심이 적고 상황이 고될 때는 마음이 좀 더 열리는 것 같습니다. 헌신된 신자들인 우리도 모든 것이 수월할 때는 덜 열정적이고 세상 것에 좀 더 바쁜 경향이 있습니다. 우리가 어려움을 겪어야만 할 때는 겸손, 순결, 기도, 연합에 좀 더 기울어지는 경향이 있습니다. 외적으로 어려움이 더 많을 때 영적인 것들을 향한 움직임이 더 커지는 경향이 있습니다. 이 신비로운 방식으로 힘든 시간은 축복이 될 수 있습니다. 힘든 시간은 부분적으로 하나님으로부터의 심판입니다. 이 심판은 믿지 않는 사람들과 믿는 사람들 모두를 하나님께 더 가깝게 인도하는 그분의 은혜입니다. 하나님께서는 우리가 고생하는 것을 원하시지 않습니다. 그렇지만 그분께서는 고생할 때 더 큰 영적 진보가 있음을 아십니다. 우리는 물질적 편안함만으로 축복을 측량하지 않고 영적 순결함으로 측량합니다. 그래서 힘들 때 우리는 긍정적인 축복과 하나님의 목적을 보아야 합니다. 우리는 시련과 환난 중에 하나님의 주권과 그분의 의로운 심판을 인지해야 합니다. 마지막 때에 하나님의 사람들은 하나님을 찬양하기 시작하는데 특별히 하나님의 심판이 의롭다는 주제를 중심으로 합니다. 그것은 우리 대부분에게 의미심장한 태도 변화를 나타내는 것입니다. - 요한계시록 11:17-18 – "감사하옵나니 … 주 하나님 … 주의 진노가 내려 죽은 자를 심판하시며 종 … 주의 이름을 경외하는 자들에게 상 주시며 …" - 요한계시록 15:4 – "… 주의 의로우신 일이 나타났으매 …" - 요한계시록 16:7 – "… 심판아시는 것이 참되시고 의로우시도다 …" - 요한계시록 19:2 - "그의 심판은 참되고 의로운지라 …" 어려움이 올 때 하나님과 관련된 면과 마귀와 관련된 면이 있습니다. 동시에 두 가지 상반된 진리가 있는 것입니다. 어려움 중에 우리는 하나님으로부터 온 부분을 인지하고 순복해야 합니다. 그러면 우리는 하나님으로부터 오지 않은 부분을 대적하고 견딜 수 있습니다. 야고보서 4:7 – 그런즉 너희는 하나님께 복종할지어다 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라 (베드로전서 5:6-9도 참조) 우리가 경제에, 정치에, 공중보건에 어려운 때인 것을 볼 대 우리는 이 상황을 우리 자신을 겸손케 하시기 위해 하나님으로부터 온 은혜의 심판으로 인지해야 합니다. 그럼 이것은 하나님께서 우리를 고치고 우리나라를 회복시키게 해드리는 것이 될 것입니다. 역대하 7:13-14 – 혹 내가 하늘을 닫고 비를 내리지 아니하거나 혹 메뚜기들에게 토산을 먹게 하거나 혹 전염병이 내 백성 가운데에 유행하게 할 때에 내 이름으로 일컫는 내 백성이 그들의 악한 길에서 떠나 스스로 낮추고 기도하여 내 얼굴을 찾으면 내가 하늘에서 듣고 그들의 죄를 사하고 그들의 땅을 고칠지라 13절에 주님께서 이 어려움들을 초래하신 책임을 맡으신 분이시라는 것을 주목하시기 바랍니다. 그 어려움들은 죄에 대한 하나님의 심판으로 나타납니다. (사람들이 어려움들을 자기 자신의 악행에 대한 하나님의 심판으로 보는 것은 쉽지 않습니다.) 이 심판의 목적은 우리를 위한 것입니다. 이는 우리로 하여금 회개하고 주님께 되돌아오게 하려는 것입니다. 우리가 회개하면 하나님께서는 모든 것을 고치시겠다고 약속하십니다. 경제 상황에 대한 해법은 경제학이 아닙니다. 그 해법은 하나님을 알지 못하는 대다수의 사람들을 가지고 되지 않습니다. 그 해법은 믿음의 공동체에 달려 있습니다. 우리가 회개하고 하나님을 구하면 그분께서 외부적 문제를 해결하실 것입니다. 마찬가지로 정치 상황에 대한 해법도 정치학이 아닙니다, 그것은 기도입니다. 보건 문제에 대한 해법도 보건당국에 있지 않고, 우리가 하나님께 되돌아가는 것에 있습니다. 하나님의 목적은 죄인을 구원하고 성도를 정결케 하는 것입니다. 그런 일이 일어날 때 하나님께서 물질적 축복도 쉽사리 주실 수 있으십니다. 다니엘은 마지막 때의 환난과 일정 기간 동안 적그리스도의 득세를 예언했습니다. 다니엘 11:31-33, 35 – 군대는 그의 편에 서서 성소 곧 견고한 곳을 더럽히며 매일 드리는 제사를 폐하며 멸망하게 하는 가증한 것을 세울 것이며 그가 또 언약을 배반하고 악행하는 자를 속임수로 타락시킬 것이나 오직 자기의 하나님을 아는 백성은 강하여 용맹을 떨치리라 백성 중에 지혜로운 자들이 많은 사람을 가르칠 것이나 그들이 칼날과 불꽃과 사로잡힘과 약탈을 당하여 여러 날 동안 몰락하리라 … 또 그들 중 지혜로운 자 몇 사람이 몰락하여 무리 중에서 연단을 받아 정결하게 되며 희게 되어 마지막 때까지 이르게 하리니 이는 아직 정한 기한이 남았음이라 악의 세력이 거의 모든 것을 파괴할 것입니다. 그러나 바로 그 때 많은 사람들이 믿게 될 것이며, 하나님의 사람들은 정결케 되며 연단 받을 것입니다. 지독한 박해 동안 그들은 영적으로나 믿음으로나 강해질 것입니다. 모든 것이 편안할 때 의기양양한 태도를 갖는 것은 쉽습니다. 이것은 텔레비전으로 어떤 스포츠팀을 보는 것과 같습니다. 그러나 진짜 승리는 시련과 환난을 이기는 것에 있습니다. 축복의 때 우리는 의기양양합니다. 우리가 어려움 가운에 믿음을 가지고 있을 때는 의기양양 그 이상입니다. 로마서 8:35, 37 – 누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴 … 그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라 하나님께서는 우리가 이기고 의기양양해지기를 원하십니다. 그분께서는 우리를 보내 어려움을 뚫고 지나가게 하시며, 우리와 동행하시며, 우리를 가르치시며, 우리를 격려하시며, 우리를 도우십니다. 우리가 그 어려움 가운데 하나님의 사랑을 굳게 붙들 때 우리는 믿음으로 강건해지고, 강철처럼 단련됩니다. 이렇게 우리는 편안한 때보다 힘들 때의 훨씬 더 큰 축복을 봅니다. 시련과 환난의 때에 대한 우리의 태도를 바꾸도록 합시다. 우리는 하나님의 손을 보도록 합니다. 우리는 어려움 뒤에 있는 하나님의 뜻과 목적에 순복하도록 합시다. 우리는 하나님께서 우리를 정결케 하실 수 있도록 해 드립시다. 우리는 그분의 사랑을 굳게 잡읍시다. 우리는 시련 가운데 믿음을 보여줍시다. 하나님께서 우리 마음에 역사하실 것이며 그런 다음 우리 주변에 있는 이들의 마음에 역사하실 것입니다. 야고보서 1:2-4 – 내 형제들아 너희가 여러 가지 시험을 당하거든 온전히 기쁘게 여기라 이는 너희 믿음의 시련이 인내를 만들어내는 줄 너희가 앎이라 인내를 온전히 이루라 이는 너희로 온전하고 구비하여 조금도 부족함이 없게 하려 함이라 우리가 시련 가운데 하나님의 긍정적인 목적을 보면 그것을 모두 축복과 기쁨으로 생각할 수 있습니다. 그렇게 하는 데에는 믿음이 필요합니다. 시련과 환난 가운데 승리가 있으려면 새로운 믿음의 태도가 필요합니다. 이스라엘에서 글로벌 생방송 오늘 예배하며 저희 리바이브 이스라엘팀에서 강력한 메시지를 받아보십시오. 전 세계 하나님의 가족과 연결될 수 있는 것은 저희에게 큰 축복입니다. 이것을 여러분의 친구들과 공유해 주시기 바랍니다. 그것은 우리가 격려와 섬김이 필요한 사람들에게 더 많이 다가가는데 도움이 될 것입니다. “이스라엘의 찬송 중에 계시는 주여 주는 거룩하시니이다.” 시편 22:3 지금 시청해 보십시오! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Attitude for Difficult Times

We are entering into somewhat new and difficult times. It seems to me we need a greater understanding as believers in Yeshua as to how to relate to trials and tribulations.
Ultimately it is God's will for us to live in material blessing. At the end of the Bible, we see there will be no pain, no curse and no tears forever (Revelation 21:4). However, in this time period, there is a tendency of human beings to turn away from God during times of comfort and turn towards Him in times of difficulty. People who do not believe seem less interested to hear about God when everything is easy, and seem more open when the situation is hard. Even for us as dedicated believers, we tend to be less fervent and more occupied with the things of the world and the flesh when everything is easy. When we have to deal with difficulties, we tend to lean more toward humility, purity, prayer and unity. When there is more difficulty outwardly there tends to be a greater movement toward spiritual things. In this mysterious way, difficult times can be a blessing. Difficult times are partly a judgment from God. This judgment is His grace to bring both unbelievers and believers closer to Himself. God doesn't want us to suffer. But He sees that in times of suffering there is greater spiritual advancement. We don't measure blessing by material comfort alone but by spiritual purity. Therefore, in difficult times we need to look for the positive blessing and purpose of God. We need to recognize the sovereignty of God and His righteous judgments in the midst of trial and tribulation. In the end times, the people of God will begin to praise God particularly around the theme that the judgments of God are righteous. That represents a significant change of attitude for most of us. - Revelation 11:17-18 – "We thank You, O God… that Your wrath has come and the time to judge the dead and to reward Your servants…" - Revelation 15:3 – "For Your righteous judgments have been revealed…" - Revelation 16:7 – "Yes, Your judgments are righteous and true…" - Revelation 19:2 - "For Your judgments are righteous and true…" When difficulties come, there is a divine side and a demonic side. There are two opposite truths going on at the same time. In the midst of the difficulty, we need to recognize and submit to the part that is from God; and then we can resist and stand against the part that is not from God. James 4:7 – Submit yourselves to God; resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (see as well I Peter 5:6-9) When we see difficult times in economics, in politics, in public health, we have to recognize the situation as a gracious judgment from God in order to humble ourselves; which in turn will allow God to heal us and restore our nation. II Chronicles 7:13-14 – When I shut up the heavens and there be no rain; and when I command the locust to consume the land; and if I send a plague upon My people; and if My people upon whom My name is called will submit themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their evil ways; then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and I will heal their land. Notice that in verse 13, the Lord takes total responsibility as the One who has caused the difficulty. The difficulty is seen as God's judgment on sin. (It is not easy for people to see difficulties as God's judgment for their own wrongdoing.) The purpose of the judgment is for us; it is to cause us to repent and turn back to Him. When we do repent, God promises to heal everything. The solution to the economic situation is not economics. The solution is not with the majority of the people who do not know God. The solution lies with the community of faith. If we will repent and seek God, He will solve the outward problem. Likewise the solution to the political situation is not politics, it is prayer. The solution to the health problem is not in the health department, it is in our turning back to Him. God's purpose is to save sinners and purify saints. When that happens, He can easily provide the material blessings. Daniel prophesies of tribulation in the end times and the dominion of the Antichrist for a certain period. Daniel 11:31-33, 35 – And his armed forces will arise and defile the sanctuary fortress; and they will remove the daily offering and put there the abomination of desolation; and those who do evil to the covenant, he will flatter them with smooth words. Yet those who know their God will be strong and act mightily. Those who have understanding among the people will cause many to understand. Yet for many days they will fall by sword, by flame, by captivity and by plunder… And some of those who have understanding will fall, to refine them, purify them and make them white, until the time of the end, for this is for a future appointed time. The forces of evil will destroy almost everything. Yet during that very time many people will come to faith, and the people of God will be purified and refined. During horrible persecution they will be mighty in spirit and faith. It is easy to have a victorious attitude when everything is comfortable. It is like watching a sports team on the television. However, the true victory is in overcoming the trials and tribulations. In times of blessings, we are victorious. When we have faith in the midst of difficulty, we are more than victorious. Romans 8:35, 37 – Who can separate us from the love of God? Can tribulation or distress, persecution of hunger; can nakedness or danger or sword? … Yet in all these things, by the help of Him who loves us, we are more than conquerors. God wants us to overcome and be victorious. He sends us through difficulties; accompanies us; instructs us, encourages us and helps us. As we hold on to the love of God in the midst of those difficulties, we are strengthened in faith, and forged like steel. In this way, we see even greater blessings during times of difficulty than in times of ease. Let us change our attitude about times of trial and tribulation. We see the hand of God. We submit to God's will and purpose behind the difficulty. We allow God to purify us, humble us. We hold on to His love. We show faith in the midst of trials. God will work in our hearts and then in the hearts of those around us. James 1:2-4 – My brothers, consider it great joy, when you come into all kinds of trials, because you know that testing of your faith produces patience. And let patience have its full work, so that you may be perfect and without fault, and lacking nothing. When we see God's positive purposes in the midst of trials, we can consider it all as blessing and joy. That takes faith.
