이스라엘에서는 코로나바이러스가 계속 되고 있고 사실 그 추한 머리를 다시 들고 있습니다. 몇 주 전에 아픈 사람들 수가 내려갔었는데 지난 주에 다시 증가했습니다. 감염자 수가 증가하고 있는 것은 학교를 다시 열고 많은 사업장을 다시 열었기 때문인데요, 정부는 본래대로 전면적인 격리를 논하고 있습니다.
온 세계가 아직도 이 코로나바이러스로 인해 좌절하고 있습니다. 세계에서 가장 존경받는 바이러스학자들은 이번처럼 분명하게 정의하거나 어떻게 작용하는지를 알아내기 힘든 바이러스는 본 적이 없다고 우리에게 말하고 있습니다. 바이러스 연구에 있어 전문가인 이들 대부분은 이 바이러스는 자연적으로 발생된 것이 아니라 실험실에서 나온 것인 것 같다고 주장합니다. 저는 이 견해가 사실이 아니기를, 만약 이것이 사실이라면 책임 있는 사람들이 나서서 이 문제를 해결하는 것을 돕도록 기도합니다. 이번 주에 회당들마다 민수기 13:1~15:41를 읽는데요, 히브리 이름은 “쉘랔 렠하”(“너를 위해 보내라”)입니다. 전 세계 회당에서 읽을 이 토라 포션은 아주 엄청나게 중요한데, 특히 코로나바이러스로 고통 받는 우리 시대에 더욱 그렇습니다. 선지자의 글에서는 여호수아 2:1-24를, 신약성경에서는 히브리서 3:7-19를 읽을 것입니다. 이 토라 포션이 아주 결정적인 이유는 이것이 모세가 각 지파의 최고 지도자 열두 명을 내보내는 이야기를 말하고 있기 때문입니다. 지파 우두머리들이 하나님의 명령으로 말미암아 모세에 의해 모아졌습니다. “여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되 사람을 보내어 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 가나안 땅을 정탐하게 하되 그들의 조상의 가문 각 지파 중에서 지휘관 된 자 한 사람씩 보내라.” – 민수기 13:1-2 이것은 하나님께서 주신 합당한 명령입니다. 모세와 적어도 백만 명 이상 되는 이스라엘 열두 지파는 가나안땅으로 들어가려 합니다. 가나안은 시내광야처럼 사람이 거주하지 않는 땅, 광야가 아닙니다. 가나안은 사람들이 정착해서 사는 땅입니다. 요새화된 도시 국가, 요단강과 지중해 사이에 정착한 예닐곱 민족들의 땅입니다. 우리는 이 예닐곱 민족의 이름을 알고 있고, 그들이 어디에서 와서 이스라엘 땅에 정착했는지도 알고 있습니다. 그 땅을 정탐하러 사람들을 파견하는 것은 합당합니다! 하나님께는 거기에 누가 살고 있는지, 어떤 형태의 축성술인지, 이 민족들은 무엇으로 교역하고 있는지, 하나님께서 주신 약속의 땅에 어떤 종류의 과일과 채소가 자라고 있는지 등의 정보가 필요하지 않습니다. 정보 장교의 임무는 정보를 가져오는 것입니다. 정보 장교가 의미 있는 정보를 가져오면 그는 그의 일을 한 것이고 그의 책임이 이행된 것이고 이로써 그는 그의 책임을 완수한 것입니다. 일반적으로 말해서 한 번도 가본 적 없는 땅을 정탐하는 데에 그렇게 중요한 지도자들을 택해서 보낼 것까지는 없습니다. 하나님께서는 모세에게 “사람을 보내라”고 말씀하셨는데, 각 지파의 지도자, 우두머리를 택하라고 말씀하신 것이 아니라, 가장 존경받는 사람이 가서 가나안땅을 정탐하는 것이 마땅했습니다. 그런 임무를 위해 보내는 최고의 인적 자원은, 엘리트이며 사회적 계급 및 지위로 버릇없는 그런 사람들이 아니라, 훈련되고 배울 수 있을 정도로 겸손한 보통의 남녀입니다. 저는 모세가, 지파의 지도자들, 우두머리들이 파견되어 그 땅을 정탐하고 보고서를 가져와야 한다는 생각이 들게 한 정치적 고려를 좀 했다고 생각합니다. 어쩌면 애굽 왕궁에서 자란 모세는 “매우 중요한 사람들”에 둘러싸여 있는 일에 익숙했을 것입니다. 장인 이드로의 양떼를 치며 양치기로 보낸 40년이 모세를 겸손하게 만들기는 했어도. 그런데 사실 모세는 가나안땅을 정탐하도록 각 지파의 지도자들을 보냈습니다. 이 사람들은 정보를 수집하는 일을 아주 잘했습니다. 그들은 정말로 의미 있는 정보를 수집했고, 모두 사실에 있어 의견이 일치했습니다. 이 사람들이 스스로 취할 수 있는 자유는 이스라엘 온 민족이 하기에 무엇이 가능하고 조언할 만한 것인지 권하는 것이었습니다. 그들은 스스로 자신들에게 부여되거나 그들의 사명선언서에 포함되지 않은 집행권을 취했습니다. 이렇게 우리의 권한이나 사명선언서의 도를 넘는 일은 오늘날에도 어떤 분야에서도 흔한 일은 아니지만, 교회 지도자들 중에 보일 때 특히 더 확연히 두드러집니다. 우리는 종입니다. 우리 교사들, 목사들, 장로들, 신학교수들, 성경교사들 중 그 누구도 그리스도의 몸된 교회의 보스나 주인이 아닙니다. 성경 말씀이 이렇게 말합니다: “몸이 하나요 성령도 한 분이시니 이와 같이 너희가 부르심의 한 소망 안에서 부르심을 받았느니라 주도 한 분이시요 믿음도 하나요 세례도 하나요 하나님도 한 분이시니 곧 만유의 아버지시라 만유 위에 계시고 만유를 통일하시고 만유 가운데 계시도다.” – 에베소서 4:4-6 이것은 똑같은 것을 말하는 성경의 다른 구절이지만, 창세기부터 요한계시록까지 “칼잡이 아무개가 교회의 주님이다.” “칼잡이 아무개 사역”, “칼잡이 아무개의 교회” 등을 말하는 구절은 단 한 구절도 없습니다. 지금 우리가 기독교권에서 보고 있는 것은 그냥 여러분과 저 같은 사람들이 스스로 교회와 교회 사역에 대해 개인적 소유권을 취하고 있는 것입니다. 교회의 치리도 교회 보스에 의해 제멋대로 행해집니다. 우리가 하나님께서 교회에 다섯 사역 “사도와 선지자와 복음 전하는 자와 목사와 교사”로 주신 것을 알지만, 이 다섯은 직위가 아니라 하나님께서 교회를 섬기도록 마련하신 섬김입니다. 이 다섯 가지 사역은 “보스”를 대신하는 것도 아니고, 그리스도의 몸을 섬기는 권위에 있는 사람들에게 주는 집행권도 아닙니다. 우리는 모두 종으로, 성경을 다시 쓰거나 명령이나 관행이나 계명을 바꾸거나 집행 결정을 내릴 권리가 없습니다. 이것이 열두 정탐꾼 중 열 명이 그들의 여정을 마치고 돌아와서 행한 일입니다. 그들은 자기들이 각자의 지파에서 가장 현명하고 가장 똑똑하고 가장 능력 있는 최고경영자이기 때문에, 하나님께서 뭘 할 수 있고 뭘 할 수 없는지, 모세가 뭘 결정해야 하는지를 결정할 책임이 있다고 판단했습니다. 그래서 우리는 이렇게 과도히 복잡한 상황에서 뭘 배울 수 있습니까? 1. 사실은 사실입니다. 열두 정탐꾼 모두 똑같은 사실을 알려주었습니다.
2. 열두 정탐꾼 모두의 보고는 그들의 경험에 근거한 것이었습니다. 그들의 경험도 같았습니다.
3. 열 명의 정탐꾼은 이 우주의 주인이자 보스이신 하나님이 계시며, 그분께서는 그분의 세상에 어떤 일이 일어나게 만드시는 분이시고, 우리가 그분을 믿는 믿음이란 그분의 약속이 이루어지는 것을 믿는 믿음이라는 것을 염두에 두지 않고 현실의 상황을 보았습니다. 이것이 우리가 믿음이라고 부르는 것입니다. 그것은 이스라엘의 주 하나님께서 아주 작은 것까지라도 그분의 약속을 지키시는 신실하신 하나님이심을 믿을 수 있는 것입니다. 지파의 지도자들, 우두머리들, 목사들, 설교자들, 교사들, “선지자들”이 그들이 누구인지, 만물의 빅 보스이신 하나님이 진정 계시다는 것과, 그들은 모두 지역 우체국에 고용된 것뿐임을 기억하기란 어려운 일입니다. 종교 공무원, 목사, 교사, 장로, 설교자, 선지자의 일과 소명은 하나님의 메시지를 받아 전달해주고, 교회 성원의 기저귀를 갈아주고, 그들을 예슈아께서 다시 오신다는 복음을 전하는 일에 배치하는 것입니다. 어떤 주요 시간대 방송 설교자들이 계속 미소 짓는 얼굴을 유지하기 위해 적어도 서너 번은 얼굴 리프트와 성형을 해야 하는 것처럼, 오늘날의 교회 지도자들이 교회가 자기들 것이며 그들이 지역적으로, 국가적으로, 혹은 국제적으로 그리스도의 몸의 소유주이자 보스라고 생각하는 순간, 그들은 모두 바른 데이터는 내놓았지만 그릇된 예측을 한 열 명의 정탐꾼같이 될 것입니다. 그들은 진짜 보스이자 아버지이자 구주께서 하늘에서든 땅에서든 무소부재하시며 전능하시다는 것과, 사람인 우리는 모두 하늘과 땅의 전능하신 주의 존전에 메뚜기 같다는 것을 잊었습니다. 또 다른 중요한 점은 만약 우리가 그분의 약속을 지킴에 신실하신 살아계시고 전능하신 하나님을 정말로 믿으면, 결론은 언제나 전능하신 하나님을 믿고 이 땅의 현실 너머 하늘의 약속을 바라본 갈렙과 여호수아의 결론과 같아진다는 것입니다. 열 지파 우두머리들은 말했습니다: “그와 함께 올라갔던 사람들은 이르되 우리는 능히 올라가서 그 백성을 치지 못하리라 그들은 우리보다 강하니라 하고 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 그 정탐한 땅을 악평하여 이르되 우리가 두루 다니며 정탐한 땅은 그 거주민을 삼키는 땅이요 거기서 본 모든 백성은 신장이 장대한 자들이며 거기서 네피림 후손인 아낙 자손의 거인들을 보았나니 우리는 스스로 보기에도 메뚜기 같으니 그들이 보기에도 그와 같았을 것이니라.” – 민수기 13:31-33 형제자매님들, 저들의 보고와 갈렙과 여호수아의 보고 사이의 차이점을 보시기 바랍니다. 열 명의 정탐꾼의 말에 무엇이 빠졌습니까? 오직 한 가지가 빠졌는데, 하나님이 없습니다. 우리 프로그램과 계획과 미래에 하나님이 없으면, 우리는 그 순간 망한 것입니다. 하나님께서 우리와 함께 하시지 않으시면, 우리는 하나님 나라를 위해 아무 것도 좋을 일을 할 수 없습니다. 우리는 그분과 함께 일하는 것입니다. 우리에게는 우리 것인 사역이 없습니다! 우리에게 우리가 보스인 교회는 없습니다! 우리에게는 이끌거나, 치유하거나, 하나님의 말씀을 가르치거나, 교회를 성장하게 만들거나, 이곳 하나님의 지구에서 전능하신 하나님을 대표할 능력이 없습니다. 우리에게는 오직 주님께서 우리에게 주신 사명과 위임이 있을 뿐이며, 주님께서는 우리가 우리를 통해 그분의 일이 이행되는 것을 돌보는 데 필요한 모든 것을 주실 것입니다. 저는 예슈아께서 다시 예루살렘으로 들어가시는 데에 저를 그분의 나귀로 사용해주시도록 기도해왔고 그렇게 계속 기도하고 있습니다. 저는 이 그림이 단지 비유적으로 말하는 것이라는 것을 알지만, 저는 정말로 하나님 손의 도구가 되고 싶습니다. 저는 그리스도의 몸의 설교자, 목사, 장로인 여러분이 언제나 주님께 공로를 돌려드리고, 또 그분께서 지역 교회를 지도하시고 지역 교회에 영감을 주시고 능력을 주시고 우리로 하여금 그분의 뜻을 행하며 겸손하면서도 강할 수 있도록 만들어 주시게 해드리기를 바랍니다. 주님께서 그분의 일을 하는 데에 우리를 사용하시기를 바라고, 그분의 의제가 우리의 의제가 되기를 바랍니다. “네, 우리 모두 할 수 있습니다”가 요즘 모든 기독교인들이 채택할 훨씬 더 좋은 슬로건입니다.
여러분의 기도에 날마다 이스라엘 나라를 기억해 주십시오. 새 정부가 들어섰지만 이 새 정부 앞에 놓인 도전들은 아주 큽니다. 모든 것이 유럽연합과 백악관과 이스라엘 크네셋(의회)의 반대와 코로나바이러스라는 압박 아래 있습니다. 오직 하나님만이 질서를 가져오시고 이 어마어마한 도전들에 해결책을 주실 수 있습니다. 여러분의 기도와 후원을 매우 감사히 여길 것입니다.
마르시아의 건강과 기억력과 당뇨병과 류마티스 관절염 등을 위해 계속 기도해 주시기 바랍니다. 저희 딸 다나는 지금 처한 상황 때문에 여러분의 기도가 많이 필요하고, 저희 손녀 노아암도 그렇습니다. 여러분의 기도 가운데 다나와 노아암을 올려드려 주십시오. 다나와 노아암은 벌써 두 달 동안 집에 있었습니다. 그들은 기본적으로 나가지 않고 있습니다. 노아암은 학교 출석을 온라인으로 하고 있고, 다나는 재택근무하고 있습니다.

미국은 다시 집중해야 하고, 모든 공동체도 다시 집중하고 목표들과 도전들도 다시 정의해야 합니다. 이런 일이 일어나지 않는다면 온 나라가 쇠퇴와 퇴락을 겪게 될 것입니다. 고대의 위대한 제국들이 어떻게 사멸했다고 생각하십니까? 여러분은 외세가 침략하여 정복했다고 생각하십니까? 아닙니다, 친애하는 형제자매님들, 퇴락과 무법 사조는 안으로부터 왔습니다.
이것은 진보라는 구실과, 부자에 반하여 가난한 자, 기득권자들에 반하여 소외된 자들의 권리 보호라는 구실로 이런 대제국들에 임했습니다. 이것이 제국들을 붕괴시키는 요소입니다. 리더십은 사실 안으로부터 썩어 들어가고 있을 때 마치 강한 것처럼 행동합니다.
사회의 성공을 위해 일하고 기여한 사람들은 희망을 포기하고 사회의 더 낮은 공통분모가 일어나 그들을 압도하도록 허용하며 항복합니다. 이런 일이 일어날 때, 향방은 내리막길뿐인데, 내리막길에서 방향을 바꿔 오르막길로 되돌아가는 데에는 세 배의 에너지가 필요합니다.

The Coronavirus in Israel is ongoing and in fact raising its ugly head again. The number of sick people went down a few weeks ago but it increased again last week. The number of infected people is growing because the schools reopened and many of the businesses reopened, and the government is talking of reinstating a full-scale quarantine.
The whole world is still baffled by this Coronavirus and the most respected virologists in the world are telling us that they have never seen such a virus that is hard to pin down and to discover how it works. Most of the people who are experts in the study of viruses claim that it is most likely that this virus did not develop in nature but came out of a laboratory. I pray that this opinion is not true, but if it is true that the people responsible will come forth and help solve this problem. This week the synagogues are reading from Numbers 13:1-15:41 the Hebrew name is Shelach Lecha (“Send Out for Yourself”). This section of the Torah that will be read in the Synagogues around the world is so incredibly significant especially for our days of Coronavirus. From the Prophets we are going to be reading Joshua 2:1-24, and from the New Testament Hebrews 3:7-19. The Torah portion is very formative because it tells the story of Moses sending the 12 top leaders from each tribe. The presidents of the tribes are gathered by Moses by God’s command. “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.” – Num. 13:1-2[NKJV] This is a reasonable command by God. Moses and the twelve tribes of Israel, numbering at least a million plus, are entering into the land of Canaan. Canaan is not a desert, an uninhabited land like the desert of Sinai. Canaan is a settled land. A land of fortified city-states, a land of several ethnic groups who have settled between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. We know the names of these ethnic groups, and we even know where they came from to settle down in the land of Israel. It is reasonable to send men to spy out the land! God does not need the information of who lives there with what kinds of fortifications and what these nations trade with and other relevant information like what kind of fruit and vegetables grow in this God-given land of promise. The task of an intelligence officer is to bring information. If the intelligence officer brings relevant information, he has done his job and his responsibility has been fulfilled and with this he has completed his responsibility. Normally speaking you do not take such important leaders and send them to do some spying in a land that they have never visited. God told Moses “send men” – God did not say chose the presidents, the leader of each tribe – the most respected men ought to go and spy out the land of Canaan. The best human material to send for such a mission is the men and women who are the common folk that are humble enough to be trained and are able to learn and not those who are elite and spoiled with the privileges of rank and status in the community. I imagine that Moses had some political considerations that gave him the idea that the presidents, leaders, of the tribes ought to be sent to see and spy out the land and bring their reports. Maybe Moses, who was raised in the palaces of Egypt was used to being surrounded by VIP’s. Although, the forty years spent as a shepherd tending his father-in-law Jethro’s flocks probably had humbled Moses. But the fact is that Moses sent the leaders of each tribe to spy out the land of Canaan. These men did a good job of gathering information. They did collect the relevant information, and all agreed on the facts. The freedom that these men took to themselves was to make the recommendation of what would be possible and advisable for the whole nation of Israel to do. They took for themselves executive privileges that were not granted or included in their mission statement. This type of overstepping our authority and our mission statement is not uncommon even today and, in all disciplines, but it is especially glaring when it is seen among church leaders. We are servants, none of us, teachers, pastors, elders, professors of theology, or Bible teachers, is a boss or an owner of the church, the body of Christ. The word says: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” – Ephesians 4:4-6 [NKJV] There are other texts in the Bible that say the same thing, but there is not one single text between Genesis and Revelation that says, “Jack the knife is the Lord of the Church” – “Jack the knife ministry” – “The church of Jack the knife.” Now what we are seeing in the Christian world is that men, just like you and me are taking to themselves a personal ownership to the church and to the ministry of the church. The administration of the church is arbitrarily carried on by the boss of the church. Although we do know that God gave the church and the five ministries, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers.” These five are not offices, they are services that are setup by God to serve the church. These five ministries are not a replacement of the “Boss,” nor are they executive rights that give the men in these services authority over the body of Christ. We are all servants and we don’t have the right to re-write the Bible and change commands and practices and commandments or to make executive decisions. This is what ten of the 12 spies did when they came back from their journey. They decided that they are responsible to make the decision of what God can do and what God can’t do and what Moses ought to decide, because they are the wisest and the smartest and the most talented CEO’s of their ten tribes. So, what can we learn from this overly complicated situation: 1. The facts are facts and all of the 12 spies gave the same facts.
2. The reports of all the 12 spies were based on their experience. Their experience was the same too.
3. The 10 spies looked at the reality of the situation without taking into account that there is a God who is the master and boss of this universe and He is the one that makes things happen in His world and our trust in Him is our trust in the fulfillment of His promises. This is what we call faith – it is the ability to trust that the Lord God of Israel is a faithful God who keeps His promises even to the smallest detail. It is hard for leaders, presidents of tribes, pastors, preachers, teachers and “prophets” to remember who they are, that there is truly a God who is the Big Boss of all and that all of them are only employed in the local post office. The job and calling of all the religious functionaries, pastors, teachers, elders, preachers, prophets, is to receive and forward messages of God and to clean the diapers of the church members and put them to work spreading the good news, that Yeshua is coming back. The minute that today’s church leaders think that the church is theirs and that they are the owners and bosses of the body of Christ locally, nationally, or internationally, as it is with some big-time preachers who need at least three or four face lifts and plastic surgeries to keep their smile constant, they will all be like the 10 spies who gave the right data, but had the wrong prognoses – they forgot that the real boss and father and savior is omnipresent and all-powerful both in the heavens and on Earth, and all of us humans are like grasshoppers in the presence of the almighty Lord of heaven and Earth. Another important point is that if we really believe in a living and all-powerful God who is faithful to keep His promises, the conclusion will always be like that of Caleb and Joshua, trusting the all-powerful God and looking beyond the reality on Earth into the promises of heaven. The 10 presidents of the tribes said: “‘We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.’ And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, ‘The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.’” – Numbers 13:31-33[NKJV] Please brothers and sisters, look for the difference between their report and the report of Caleb and Joshua. What is missing in the words of the ten spies? There is only one thing missing, God is missing. When God is missing from our programs and plans and future, we are doomed at that instant. We can do nothing good for the kingdom of God unless God is doing it with us, and we are doing it with Him. We don’t have a ministry that is ours! We don’t have a church that we are the bosses of! We don’t have power to lead, to heal, to teach the word of God, to make the church grow, or to represent the almighty God down here on His Earth. We have only the mission and the commission that the Lord has given us and He will provide all that we need to see that His work is carried out by us. I have prayed and continue to pray that Yeshua will use me as His donkey to enter again into Jerusalem. I realize that this picture is only speaking metaphorically, but I do want to be an instrument in God’s hand. I hope that you, the preachers, pastors, and elders, of the body of Christ, will be always ready to give the Lord the credit and also allow Him to direct, inspire, and empower the local church and enable us to do His will, and to be both humble and strong at the same time. So, that the Lord can use us to do His work and that His agenda will become our agenda. “Yes, We All Can” is a much better slogan for all Christians to adopt these days. YWAC!
Please keep the state of Israel in your prayers daily. We do have a new government but the challenges before this new government are so great. Everything is under pressure from the European Union, and from the White House and from the opposition in the Israeli Knesset (Parliament), and from the Coronavirus… Only God can bring order and provide solutions to these mega challenges. Your prayers and support will be greatly appreciated.
Please keep praying for Marcia’s health, memory, and diabeties, and reumatoid arthritis… Danah our daughter needs much prayer for her situation and so does our granddaughter Noaam. Please lift Danah and Noaam in your prayers. Danah and Noaam have been staying in their home already for two months. They are basically not going out, Noaam is attending school online, and Danah is working from home.
Please pray for the USA, the horrible and very cruel death of George Floyd is reaping a dark harvest of more hatred and more insanity and even some stupidity with the destruction of its cultural and historical heritage.
The USA needs to refocus, all the communities need to refocus and redefine their goals and challenges. If this does not happen the whole nation will suffer decline and deterioration. How do you think the great ancient empires died? Do you think that a foreign force invaded and conquered them? No, my dear brothers and sisters, the deterioration and lawlessness came from within.
It came upon these great empires and nations under the guise of progress and protection of the rights of the poor against the rich, the under-privileged against those who were considered privileged. This is the stuff that brings empires down. The leadership acts as if it is strong when it is really rotten from within.
The people who work and contribute to the society’s success give up hope and raise up their hands to allow the lower common denominator of society to rise up and overcome them. When this happens, the only direction is downward and downward is a direction that takes three times the energy to change and to return to going upwards.
It is the easy street going down! It is the hard and difficult street to go up and remember that we are all God’s children and we have mutual responsibility to make our society and world a better place for all! This ought to be our agenda until Yeshua returns!

We also need to be grateful for the countries like Israel who are beginning to come out and return to normality with caution and care. The Coronavirus is not over and the economic damage to jobs and household income is also great and growing throughout the world.
We need to pray for both the health of the people and also for the economic effect of this Coronavirus around the whole world. We need to pray on two counts, first for recovery with regard to the Coronavirus that kills the elderly and chronically sick older people, but also we need to pray for the businesses and industries of the world that are suffering due to the great number of unemployed people around the whole world.
Please remember David Stern and his family for David’s health issues. Also please pray for Daniel Stern and his family. These are exceedingly difficult times for the Stern family, and we need to bring them all before the mercy seat of the almighty God.

Pray for the businesses of so many brothers and sisters around the world and in Israel who have had no income for three months. Also pray for those who are looking for new jobs to be blessed with better jobs than they had before the Coronavirus. Please pray for those who have private businesses to be blessed with a quick recovery and to experience greater success and blessings than they had before this plague.
The Coronavirus is threatening the economy of the world with a great recession and depression. Some of our major supporters have already lowered the amount of their support. They have done this not only toward Netivyah, but for all the ministries that they are supporting, and they are many. I would like to first ask you to pray about your part in supporting Netivyah Bible Instruction Ministry. Second, I would like for you who stand with us in prayer and financially to do your absolute best to stay on board with us and communicate. We realize that times will be hard for several years, but we also realize that God has chosen and blessed you for such a time as this.
