예루살렘 기도 목록 – 2026년 6월 20일

수십 년 동안 매주 예루살렘 기도 목록을 읽고 쓰는 일은 큰 특권인 동시에 영적, 지적으로 공고해지는 훈련이기도 합니다. 제 개인적인 경험으로 미루어 볼 때, 하나님의 말씀을 그 기록된 원어로 읽는 것은 매주 몸과 마음에 가장 좋은 양식을 섭취하는 것과 같습니다. 저는 매주 토라(이스라엘 자손의 이야기를 담은 네 권의 책, 즉 창세기, 출애굽기, 레위기, 신명기)를 읽으면서 겸손해집니다. 제 개인적인 생각으로는 토라는 인류 존재의 근본을 이루는 이야기입니다. 토라는 역사일 뿐만 아니라, 또한 하나님의 율법이자 의롭고 거룩한 삶을 위한 지침서일 뿐만 아니라, 나의 내적 영혼을 일상의 내적 외적 나침반이자 척도와 연결해주는 가교입니다.

신약 교회는 메시아의 제자들에게 안식일(토요일)에 회당에 가서 하나님의 말씀을 듣도록 명령합니다. 사도행전 15장 마지막 몇 구절에서 사도들과 예루살렘 교회의 장로들은 하나님께서 베들레헴에서 태어나 예루살렘에 묻혔다가 부활하시고 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시며 마지막에 인류, 바로 우리 각 사람을 심판하실 유대인 예슈아의 삶과 죽음과 부활을 통해 구원받은 이방인들에게 명령한 것입니다.

이번 안식일에 읽는 토라와 선지서 포션을 “후캍”이라고 하며, 파라샤 후캍의 읽는 본문은 민수기 19:1–22:1, 사사기 11:1-33, 신약성경 요한복음 3:1-21입니다.

토라 포션은 민수기 19:1-2에서 이렇게 시작됩니다:

“여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하여 이르시되 여호와께서 명령하시는 법의 율례를 이제 이르노니 이스라엘 자손에게 일러서 온전하여 흠이 없고 아직 멍에 메지 아니한 붉은 암송아지를 네게로 끌어오게 하고”

토라의 이 명령은 모세의 율법이 아론과 모세에게 그들이 이스라엘 자손과 함께 시내광야에 있을 때 행하라 명하신 가장 특이한 명령 중 하나입니다. 이 명령이 왜 그토록 중요하고 특이한 것일까요? 그들이 시내광야에 성막을 막 지었기 때문입니다. 백성들은 금과 은, 값비싼 천 등 모든 것을 헌납했습니다. 성막이 완성되자 큰 잔치와 제사가 있었고, 주님의 임재가 성막에 임하여 하나님의 영광으로 가득 찼습니다. 이스라엘 백성이 하나님께 예배하고 제사를 드리기 위해 모든 것을 준비하여 진영 중앙에 차려 놓았습니다! 그런데 갑자기 붉은 암소를 가져다가 진영 밖으로 데리고 나가 성막 안 제단이 아니라 진영 밖 외딴곳에서 제물로 바치고, 그 암소를 통째로 불태워 재를 모아 이스라엘 자손이 쓸 수 있도록 여러 용도로 사용하라는 명령이 내려졌습니다.

이 기이한 명령과 그에 따른 의식은 성경 전체에서 이스라엘의 죄를 속죄하기 위한 가장 흥미롭고 중요한 명령 중 하나입니다. 신약성경 히브리서의 저자는 이 명령을 다음과 같이 해석합니다. 참고로, 붉은 암송아지를 불태운 장소는 사해와 에세네파의 거주지였던 쿰란 근처, 즉 사해 서쪽 해안에 위치했을 것으로 추정됩니다. 만약 이 발견이 사실이라면, 이는 우리 조상 시대에 붉은 암송아지를 태우는 의식이 얼마나 중요하고 복잡한 의미를 지녔는지, 그리고 그 재가 하나님의 백성 공동체에 얼마나 중요한 것이었는지를 보여줍니다. 이 재는 아내가 가족과 남편에게 정절을 지켰는지 아닌지를 분별하는 데 사용되었으며, 예루살렘 성전에서 여러 가지 의식과 활동을 행하는 데 필수적인 요소였습니다.

히브리서 저자는 13장에서 메시아 예슈아께서 예루살렘 밖에서 십자가에 못 박히신 사건을 궁극적인 정화와 속죄, 즉 죄의 용서와 정결을 위한 것으로 해석합니다. 왜냐하면 예슈아는 세상 죄를 대신 지고 가신 궁극적인 붉은 암송아지이시기 때문입니다. 히브리서 13:10-16,

“우리에게 제단이 있는데 장막에서 섬기는 자들은 그 제단에서 먹을 권한이 없나니 이는 죄를 위한 짐승의 피는 대제사장이 가지고 성소에 들어가고 그 육체는 영문 밖에서 불사름이라 그러므로 예수도 자기 피로써 백성을 거룩하게 하려고 성문 밖에서 고난을 받으셨느니라 그런즉 우리도 그의 치욕을 짊어지고 영문 밖으로 그에게 나아가자 우리가 여기에는 영구한 도성이 없으므로 장차 올 것을 찾나니 그러므로 우리는 예수로 말미암아 항상 찬송의 제사를 하나님께 드리자 이는 그 이름을 증언하는 입술의 열매니라 오직 선을 행함과 서로 나누어 주기를 잊지 말라 하나님은 이같은 제사를 기뻐하시느니라” (히브리서 13:10-16).

히브리서 저자는 예루살렘 성전 밖 십자가에서 일어난 예슈아의 죽음을 진영 밖에서 드려진 붉은 암송아지 희생 제사에 비유합니다. 붉은 암송아지의 재는 특별한 의미를 지니는데, 성전 안 제단에서 드려지던 일반적인 속죄제는 붉은 암송아지의 재와 같은 효능과 기능을 가질 수 없었기 때문입니다.

유죄 죄인과 무죄 죄인 사이의 격차의 힘! 이 희생제사는 성전에서 제사장들이 행했던 일반적인 제사 의식과는 완전히 다른 차원의 것입니다. 예슈아께서는 우리의 죄 사함을 위해 예루살렘 성전 제단에서 희생되지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 예루살렘 성문 밖에서 로마인들에게 죽임을 당하셨고, 히브리서는 바로 이 사건을 우리 죄를 위한 궁극적인 속죄, 즉 진영 밖에서 드려진, 레위 지파 제사장들이 그 제물을 먹을 수 없었던 곳에서의 희생으로 해석하고 있습니다.

선지서 포션은 사사기 11장의 사사 입다의 이야기인데, 이는 사사들 중에서도 매우 흥미로운 사례 중 하나입니다:

“길르앗 사람 입다는 큰 용사였으니 기생이 길르앗에게서 낳은 아들이었고 길르앗의 아내도 그의 아들들을 낳았더라 그 아내의 아들들이 자라매 입다를 쫓아내며 그에게 이르되 너는 다른 여인의 자식이니 우리 아버지의 집에서 기업을 잇지 못하리라 한지라 이에 입다가 그의 형제들을 피하여 돕 땅에 거주하매 잡류가 그에게로 모여 와서 그와 함께 출입하였더라 얼마 후에 암몬 자손이 이스라엘을 치려 하니라 암몬 자손이 이스라엘을 치려 할 때에 길르앗 장로들이 입다를 데려오려고 돕 땅에 가서 입다에게 이르되 우리가 암몬 자손과 싸우려 하니 당신은 와서 우리의 장관이 되라 하니 입다가 길르앗 장로들에게 이르되 너희가 전에 나를 미워하여 내 아버지 집에서 쫓아내지 아니하였느냐 이제 너희가 환난을 당하였다고 어찌하여 내게 왔느냐 하니라 그러므로 길르앗 장로들이 입다에게 이르되 이제 우리가 당신을 찾아온 것은 우리와 함께 가서 암몬 자손과 싸우게 하려 함이니 그리하면 당신이 우리 길르앗 모든 주민의 머리가 되리라 하매 입다가 길르앗 장로들에게 이르되 너희가 나를 데리고 고향으로 돌아가서 암몬 자손과 싸우게 할 때에 만일 여호와께서 그들을 내게 넘겨 주시면 내가 과연 너희의 머리가 되겠느냐 하니 길르앗 장로들이 입다에게 이르되 여호와는 우리 사이의 증인이시니 당신의 말대로 우리가 그렇게 행하리이다 하니라 이에 입다가 길르앗 장로들과 함께 가니 백성이 그를 자기들의 머리와 장관을 삼은지라 입다가 미스바에서 자기의 말을 다 여호와 앞에 아뢰니라” (사사기 11:1-11).

전 세계 회당에서 이번 안식일에 읽는 토라 포션에서 우리는 배울 것이 참 많습니다. 제가 이 포션을 통해 이해하고 좋아하는 가장 큰 점은 하나님께서 우리가 정기적으로 지키고 실천할 수 있는 체계를 주시지만, 동시에 틀을 벗어난 대안도 마련해 주신다는 것입니다. 붉은 암송아지의 경우처럼, 하나님께서는 기존의 권위와 운영 체계, 즉 레위계 제사장들의 손이 닿지 않는, 완전히 벗어난 대안을 제시해 주십니다! 질서 있고 권위 있는 체제를 갖추면서도 일상에서 마주하는 어려움이 아닌 특별한 경우를 처리할 수 있는 유연성을 지닌 체제를 가진 다른 체계는 제가 아는 한 없습니다. 모든 국가의 정부 관료들이 우리 인간은 획일적으로 찍어낸 존재가 아니라는 사실을 이해했으면 좋겠습니다. 우리 각 사람이 고유한 존재이며, 때로는 자신의 임무를 수행하기 위해 다른 선택지가 필요하다는 것, 그리고 사회의 스펙트럼을 넓히고, 적어도 때로는 일반 대중의 틀에서 벗어난 여러 공동체의 대안을 제시하는 사람들에게 축복을 내려야 한다는 것을 이해했으면 좋겠습니다.

하나님께서는 바로 이러한 이유로, 즉 틀에 얽매이지 않고 살아가던 이스라엘 사람들을 위해 붉은 암송아지에 대한 명령을 내리셨습니다. 이번 주 토라와 선지서 포션에서 이 진리를 취하십시오. 제한적이고 폐쇄적인 패러다임에 자신을 가두지 말고 다양하고 특이한 경우를 위한 공간을 남겨 두십시오. 왜냐하면 때로는 변두리에 있는 사람들을 사용하고 회복시키는 하나님의 은혜를 가장 강력하게 발견하게 되는 일, 그리하여 이 회복된 사람들이 여러분의 지역 사회를 풍요롭게 하고 하나님께서 사랑하시는 소외된 형제자매들에게서 오는 해결책과 축복을 제공하게 되는 일이 범상치 않은 곳과 진영 밖에 있기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 진영 밖의 형제자매들을 사용하시어 죄 사함이 필요한 사람들을 축복하고 풍요롭게 하고 용서하십니다. 이는 진영 밖의 예슈아와 같은 사람들에게서 비롯되는 것으로, 작은 구역에 갇혀 있는 자들과 진영 안에 있는 자들을 다 구원하여 진영 밖에 있는 사람들로 말미암아 풍부해지게 하려는 것입니다. 이와 같은 패러다임을 찾아볼 수 있는 다른 이야기와 문제들이 있는데요, 그 중에 베들레헴의 이새네 집의 어린 양치기 소년은 진영 밖에서 나타나 하나님의 사람 중 한 명이 되고, 본질적으로 진영 밖에 머물면서 메시아의 예표가 되는 것과 같은 이야기가 있습니다. 그 메시아는 이스라엘 민족에게는 여전히 진영 밖에 있는 존재이고, 천편일률적으로 찍어낸 듯한 인간들의 진영 밖에 있기 위해 유대인은 어떠해야 하는지에 대한 기준이며, 다윗 왕과 같이 하나님 보시기에 특별한 인물입니다! 아직 진영 밖에 있는 사람들에게 이해와 인내심을 가져주십시오.

개인적 메모: 요셉과 한나 저희 부부와 예후다 바카나는 핀란드 형제자매들 중에서 사역하기 위해 핀란드에 왔습니다. 봄과 여름에는 숲과 호수가 우거지고 겨울에는 새하얀 눈으로 뒤덮이는 이 아름다운 나라에서 친구들과 형제자매들을 섬길 시간이 며칠 더 남았습니다. 한나와 저는 이곳에서 일본으로, 일본에서 한국으로, 한국에서 대만으로, 그리고 홍콩으로 갔다가 이스라엘 집으로 돌아갈 것입니다. 저희와 함께 핀란드 형제들을 가르치고 격려하는 훌륭한 일을 하고 있는 예후다는 예루살렘으로 돌아간 후 몇 주 뒤에 100일간의 예비군 복무를 위해 이스라엘 군에 복귀할 예정입니다. 이들 나라의 형제자매들을 섬기는 이번 장기 선교 여행 동안 여러분의 기도에 한나와 저를 위해 기도해 주시기 바랍니다. 주님께서 오래전 저를 사용하시어 가르치고 훈련시키고 제자 삼은 많은 제자들이 있는데요, 이제 그들이 지도자가 되었고, 1980년대 초에 세워진 공동체들은 번성하며 하나님의 나라와 그 왕을 섬기고 있습니다.

The Jerusalem Prayer List – June 20, 2026

The challenge of reading and writing the Jerusalem Prayer List every week for decades is both a great privilege and also an exercise in both spiritual and intellectual stability. I believe from my personal experience that reading the Word of God in the language that it was written originally is truly like eating each week the best food for the body and spirit. I am humbled each week by reading the Torah (The four books that compose the story of the children of Israel: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy!) In my personal opinion, it is the foundational story of human existence. It is not only history, and not only the law of God and the manual for a righteous and holy life, but it is the bridge that connects my inner soul with my daily outer and inner personal compass and slide-rule.

The New Testament church commands the disciples of the Messiah to go to the synagogues on Shabbat (Saturday) in order to hear the Word of God being read. Acts 15, the last few verses that the Apostles and elders of the church in Jerusalem command the non-Jews who were saved by the supreme and divine sacrifice by God, that is, the life and death and resurrection of the Jew Yeshua, born in Bethlehem and buried in Jerusalem and resurrected to sit on the right hand of God in the end to judge humanity. That is each one of us humans!

This Shabbat, the reading of the Torah and the prophets is called Chukat, and the reading is from Parashat Chukat from Numbers 19:1–22:1, from Judges 11:1-33, and from the New Testament from John 3:1-21.

This is how our Torah reading starts from Numbers 19:1-3,

"Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 'This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying: 'Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without blemish, in which there is no defect and on which a yoke has never come."

This command of the Torah is one of the strangest commands that the Law of Moses commands Aaron and Moses to perform while they and the children of Israel are still in the Sinai desert. Why is this command so important and so strange? Simply because they had just built the Tabernacle in the wilderness of Sinai. The people gave contributions of everything, like their Gold and Silver and expensive clothes. When the Tabernacle was finished, there was a big celebration and sacrifices, and the presence of the Lord descended on the Tabernacle and filled it with God's glory. All was prepared and placed in the middle of the camp of Israel for the worship and sacrifices of Israel to God! Suddenly, there comes a command to get a red cow and take it outside the camp and sacrifice it not on the altar in the Tabernacle but outside the camp in a desolate place, burn the whole red cow, collect the ashes, and bring them to be used for different purposes to serve the children of Israel.

This strange command and ceremony that goes with it is one of the most interesting and important commands for the atonement of the sins of Israel in the whole Bible. Here is how the writer of the book of Hebrews in the New Testament interprets this command in the New Testament—just a geographical note for your interest. The place of the burning of the Red Heifer was presumably found near the Dead Sea and Qumran, the homestead of the Essenes sect on the western shore of the Dead Sea. If this discovery is true, it shows us how important and complex the idea of the burning of the red heifer really was in the days of our forebears. And, how important these ashes of the burned red heifer really were for the community of God's people. These ashes were used to discern if a wife was faithful or not to her family and husband. These ashes were necessary for the performance of several different actions and activities in the temple in Jerusalem.

The writer of the book of Hebrews in chapter 13 interprets that the crucifixion of Yeshua the Messiah outside of Jerusalem is the ultimate cleansing and atonement for the purification and forgiveness of sins because Yeshua is the ultimate RED Heifer that takes away the sins of the world upon himself. The book of Hebrews 13:10-16,

"We have an altar from which those who serve the Tabernacle have no right to eat. For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned outside the camp. Therefore, Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore, let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come. Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." (Hebrews 13:10-16 NKJV).

The writer of the book of Hebrews extends the death of Yeshua on the cross that happens outside the temple in Jerusalem as the sacrifice of the red heifer outside the camp. The ashes of the red heifer have the most special significance that the regular sacrifices for the forgiveness of sin that were offered in the temple and on the altar didn't have and could not have the same power and function like the ashes of the red heifer did.

The power of decrement between a guilty and a not guilty sinner! This sacrifice is outside the box of the regular function and sacrificial practices that were performed by the priests in the temple. Yeshua was not sacrificed for the forgiveness of our sins on the altar of the temple in Jerusalem. He was killed by the Romans outside the city gates of Jerusalem, and that is what the letter to the Hebrews is interpreting as the ultimate atonement for our sins – outside the camp, and the Levitical priests could not eat from it.

The reading from the prophets from Judges' chapter 11 is the story of the judge Jephthah, one of the very interesting cases among the judges:

"Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Gilead's wife bore sons; and when his wife's sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, "You shall have no inheritance in our father's house, for you are the son of another woman." Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him. It came to pass after a time that the people of Ammon made war against Israel. And so it was, when the people of Ammon made war against Israel, that the elders of Gilead went to get Jephthah from the land of Tob. Then they said to Jephthah, "Come and be our commander, that we may fight against the people of Ammon." So, Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "Did you not hate me, and expel me from my father's house? Why have you come to me now when you are in distress?" And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "That is why we have turned again to you now, that you may go with us and fight against the people of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead." So, Jephthah said to the elders of Gilead, "If you take me back home to fight against the people of Ammon, and the LORD delivers them to me, shall I be your head?" And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, "The LORD will be a witness between us, if we do not do according to your words." Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them; and Jephthah spoke all his words before the LORD in Mizpah." (Judges 11:1-11 NKJV).

There is so much for us to learn from this Shabbat's reading in the synagogues around the world. The big thing that I understand and like from these readings is that God gives a system for us to observe and practice regularly, but He also things outside the box and provides like in the case of the red heifer an alternative outside the box something totally outside the authority and administration of the "system", outside the camp and out of the hands of the regular administrators of the levitical priesthood in the establishment! I don't know of another system that has an orderly and authoritative establishment that has an entropy to take care of cases that are not your daily challenges. I wish that government technocrats in every country had such understanding that we, humans, are not made with cookie cutters. But each of us is unique and sometimes needs an alternative option to perform his duty and bless those who are alternative characters that broaden the spectrum and enrich the margins of society with the alternatives of any community that is at least at times outside the box of the general public.

God ordered the whole red heifer command just for this, for people in Israel who were living and functioning outside the box. Please take this truth from this week's Torah and prophets reading don't lock yourselves in a limited and closed paradigm but leave space for the different and unusual cases because sometimes it is there in the unusual and outside the camp that you will find the grace of God most powerful to use and restore the people on the margins that will enrich your community and provide solutions and blessings that come from the marginalized brothers and sisters that God loves also outside the camp to bless and enrich and forgive and use those people that need the forgiveness of their sins to come from men like Yeshua that was outside the camp and saves both those who are a little square and inside the camp to be fertilized by those who are outside the camp. There are other stories and issues that this same paradigm can be found like the whole story of little shepherd boy from the household of Jessy in Bethlehem that comes into the story from outside the camp and becomes one of the men of God and essentially remains outside the camp to become the model for the Messiah that for the nation of Israel is still outside the camp and the norm of what a Jew ought to be outside the camp of the cookie cutter style human beings for someone special in God's eyes like King David! Please have appreciation and patience for those who are still outside the camp.

Private note: We, Joseph, my wife Hannah, and Yuda Bachana, are in Finland for a tour among our brothers and sisters in Finland, and we have another few days to minister among our friends and brothers in this beautiful green and blue country of forests and lakes in the spring and summer and white freezing cold snow in the winter. Hannah and I will continue from here to Japan, and from there to Korea, and from there to Taiwan, and from there to Hong Kong, and finally return home to Israel. Yehuda who is with us and doing a fine work teaching and encouraging our brothers in Finland will return back to Jerusalem and in a couple of weeks after his return will return to serve in the Israeli army for 100 days of reserve duty. Please keep Hannah and me in your prayers for this long mission trip among brothers and sisters in these countries. I have many disciples and brothers whom the Lord used me many years ago to teach and train and disciple, and now they are leaders, and the communities that were established in the early 1980s are thriving and serving the King and the Kingdom of God.

Please keep us in your prayers. We have been on the road in Finland now for nearly 3 weeks, and we have another five weeks to go before we return home to Israel. Pray for our safety and health and for the service and work that we are doing for our brothers and the Kingdom of God!

 new Elihana Elia still has very high markers with her cancer battle however today she received good news there a trend where the markers are slightly improving. Please continue to pray for her healing. I met her and her mother at the UMJC conference approximately 3 years ago.

Please pray for me to have God’s healing of my body and protection for my travels in the summer to Finland to participate in a summer seminar for our brothers and sisters in Finland. From Finland to Japan and from Japan to Taiwan and from there to Hong Kong and back home to Israel.

I do need the prayers of our brothers and sisters around the world for the situation of the war in Israël. The enemies of israel are ancient and their enmity is deep. They have inherited hate for the Jews from biblical times, they are the descendants of Amalek and Persia is the continuation of Haman from the book of Ester who had designed to destroy the whole Jewish nation. Antisemitism in the world is growing and the disciples of Yeshua need to stand firm to stop the hate of Jews just because they are Jews and stand with and for the Jewish people! Yeshua our Lord is coming back to Jerusalem. Please pray protection also for our Arab brothers and sisters who are disciples of the Messiah who live in Arab lands.

 Please pray for our dear sister, Lea Kurki who came to Israel in 1960s and served as a medical nurse in Hadassah hospital and now she is 100 with a home care taker.

 Judy is 100 years old and has been placed in a special home for her needs.

 Pray for Adam’s father and mother, Barry and Dalia. They have some health problems and challenges.

 Pray for Miriam a dear sister old age dementia.

 Pray for Um Mahmud Abu-Eid, Jimmy Abu-Eid, and all of the family. This is a dear family of old friends that needs healing and wisdom for the children and for their work.

 Please pray for the Romero family, who live deep in the Negev desert. It is hot there, and they are far from our congregation, and we miss them.

 Pray for Deborah Isaiah. I pray for the Lord to find Deborah Isaiah and lead her to a blessed life, family, and a solution to her problems.

In Finland:

 new ilse Luukas is having her second melanoma surgery and is asking for success in removing all the cancer. This is a repeat from 2019.

 Mauno Lemponen health has not changed which is a good thing. They are evaluating moving closer to other family members — prayers for Hilkka, Miika, and Ester who will support this possible change. Please pray as moving is always a big task.

 Pray for Satu-Maria, Sinni Tuuli, Anne Mirjami, our dear sisters.

 Pray for Eva H., Patty, Andrea, Julia, Victor, Aaron Tani, and Hillel.

 Pray for the family of X in Finland who are waiting to see their children and Grandchildren to be in faith in the Lord. its stressful to not have all your children walk in faith.

In Denmark:

 Cynthia M asked you to pray for her health. She has neutropenia and chronic asthma, and has been undergoing biological treatment with injections every two weeks since 2021 so I ask you to pray for better results and better health conditions as the symptoms, respiratory infections, medications, and injections make me very tired every day.

 Mass has lost his wife and has small children. Please pray for Mass a this children as he navigates this major change in his life and the Childrens life. May God bless him with direction.

 Sister Rosie needs prayers to overcome fears of traveling by plane.

 Hannah and her family are in Dubai. They need prayer to make plans on either leaving or stay in dubai since that's where they are currently employed.

 Pray for a dear sister named Claudia Rita Souze Arau. She has cancer and needs God’s healing hands to touch her with healing.

 Shirley J heart surgery is needed since her stents did not work. She is asking for faith to be strengthened.

 Ray H. is having a similar health issue to Marcia Shulam, where the blood pressure drops when we stands up.

 Irina L. needs a kidney transplant. Her kidney is beginning to fail and is only 26% functioning. Prayer for a suitable donor and wisdom for the doctors and medical team to maintain her kidney functions. (Irina is the twin sister of pastor Serge from Kazakhstan.

 Elisheva’s husband is recovering from a fourth surgery. On September 23 he will have a 5th surgery. Also prayer for healing for Elisheva's left leg and hip joint healing. Also, an interview next week for a new job.

 Manny is asking for prayers for his father’s health that is in decline.

 Shirleyann - has had a rough time with water retention and hydration medications. Her next doctors appointment is in July. Keep her in your prayer’s. She had to have her legs wrapped and we are praying for her to improve and not have to go to the hospital. It’s a setback.

 Jordan Issac - a prayer for his treatments to work. Prayer for a mentor to step in and support him in his search for the Lord.

 Pete and Marge. Marge is undergoing tests for breast cancer, and they are in the process of trying to get legal guardianship of their grandkids. They are both in the mid 80s. Please pray for strength and longevity to get these kids past college age.

 Aida Ramirez turned 100 this past Tuesday dec 23. She is in a wheelchair, recovering from a hip surgery, and is dealing with dementia. continue to pray for her and her family (Aida is taking care of it)

 Pat S pain management has improved with some shots. Keep Philip, who is 89 and is caring for Pat, in you prayers.

 Larry is asking for prayers for his grandchildren. I would say most of us that have grandchildren are concerned about the states of the world. The state of intolerance. The temptations out there. Please pray for the holy sprit to guide them in making good choices.

 Juli got a good report on her last scan and she is also in remission. So praise God. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good.

 Bill has been able to change the regiment where the side effects are manageable, and we are thankful for that. We are praying for healing, strength, and comfort for Jill and Bill.

 Barbra and Angie are in Alaska. Barbra has some pains and discomfort related to old age. Please lift them in prayer for strength and reduction in pain.

 Please pray for Danah, my daughter's health issues. I pray for the Lord to give Danah wisdom, peace, and calm in life and her work.

 Aaron Hook, Nancy Hook’s oldest son, needs our prayers for wisdom and healing from past life issues.

 Pray for these important men of God: Rabbi Salt, his family, and Rabbi Hasselblad. They are both older and need protection and blessings.

 Pray for Ilana Avramov, who is married to my cousin Nissim and lives in New York City. Ilana is home now. Her health is in a decline. She and Nissim both need our prayers.

 Pray for Steve Mock - His cognitive condition has declined, and we ask for the grace of God and His Healing and strength. Steve and Josie’s son Joseph has received a wonderful and glorious report. After the last bone marrow transplant, the report is that the doctors didn’t find any leukemia in his body! Praise the Lord!
